Tracy is great and did a fantastic job doing a deep clean. I would highly recommend Tippit Denistry, Tracy, and Dr. Martin.

This was my family dentist for years before moving out of Houston. Hygienist was very helpful, but new to the equipment. Dr wouldn't listen to my concern area and tried to upsell crown service. Apparently he diagnosed me with (stress headaches) all in the 3 minutes he was there. Sad it was such a great place that I remembered. Wouldn't recommend. Have to go to yet another dentist for second opinion.

Love this place! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, they take their time explaining the processes, answer all your questions and they work with you on payment options. Had a root canal done and my experience was phenomenal. I was nervous but Dr. Martin and Jairo were super nice and patient. They made sure I didn't feel any pain. Very friendly and professional. Couldn't recommend this place more. 5 starts!

Had the whitening special and Allie did an amazing job. She was very attentive and explained every step she was doing and always was making sure I was felt comfortable. It was an overall great experience

I was really scared to go to the dentist after not going for a few years. Everyone was so nice and made it a great experience! The receptionists were friendly and got me checked in/out right away and got me booked for my next appointment promptly. My hygienist, Whitney, was super sweet and knowledgeable, and did my deep cleaning with very minimal discomfort. Dr. Shimek was also really nice and answered all of my questions while putting me at ease about my dental health. Super happy I picked them as my new dental provider and would recommend them to anyone.

It is always a great experience at Tippit Dental. They are not only great at dentistry but ensure your comfort at every step. They approach my anxiety with such reassurance and allow me to voice my concern and they assist me in finding comfort.

I came into my appointment pretty nervous (because.you know.it's the dentist -_- ugh) and was instantly put at ease by my hygienist, Megan, and my dentist, Jessica. They explained exactly what was happening and what was coming next so there were no surprises on my end. They even put my assessment results into visual terms that I could easily understand. Thank you so much for making my trip to the dentist something I actually WANT to do :)

Loved the Houston location, the office was easy to locate and was very clean. Staff were incredibly friendly! My cleaning was efficient, thorough and got a lot of great information/tips on better cleaning. The dentist was also very friendly and listened to me intently, then gave good detail on my own personal dental care instead of trying to sell me on things that weren't relevant. Looking forward to having continued care here!

Great place to have your dental cleaning and any other dental concerns taken care of. Staff are very easy to talk and make sure all your concerns are met.

Great staff, all the assistance and desk assistance are great. However I felt wrongfully accused of not preparing for my appointment. Doctor said I should have known better, even that's her job. Treat your customers with more care, even if it's a Friday and your rushing to get home. I expect nothing less than a full refund. You deserve less than one star.

I've been once - maybe about a year ago? - and it's a whirlwind here. I was bewildered by how much the hygienist talked the whole time. When I go into a doctor's office, I want time with the doctor to have my questions answered, not the rest of the staff to be engaged about non-medical stuff. This was too-engaging, and I found it tiring - but I guess that's up to personal preference.

Where I found it lacking were: - the cleaning itself - very analog - the dentist's lack of genuine engagement to hear out my questions; he basically stopped in to say hi and didn't want to engage in questions about my gum health I felt rushed out - blitzed in with nonstop talking for mediocre cleaning, then rushed out. I'm looking for a new dentist. Zero down time, though, once you're seen by the staff, so that's a plus.

Stay away and don't be fooled by friendliness and smiles. We have to spend thousand of dollars for re-work from this place. The dentists at Tippit Dental Group seemed to be young and inexperience.

Jennifer, my hygienist, was a bit different than the previous 2 hygienists (Mariah is the best) I've had here. First, without asking if I wanted, Jennifer went ahead and made me take a picture for my office chart. Then she curtly asked why I was back in for a cleaning when I was there about a month prior. Can we agree that everyone's situation is different for their dental plan/benefits?

My cleanings/exams are definitely not free -- the office gets paid in full through my insurance, so.if I choose to come in every month or twice a year, it shouldn't matter, should it? It'd be great if Jennifer could be more friendly rather than judgmental/curt. There are definitely plenty of other dental offices to choose from.

Tracy was the best part of my visit! She was so kind and understanding and informative. They are straightforward, honest, and empathetic. As someone who hates going to the dentist more than anything, this place made me feel at ease and in control of my health. Again, ask for TRACY and just floss your teeth.

My last review for Tippitt Dental was back in 2012, when Dr. Trey (Tip's son) was still working directly. I'm still using them after all these years. Now, Trey is spending time expanding the business to other locations, and his cousin Dr. Martin (Tip's nephew) is the dentist I've been seeing these last few times. Nice to see they've kept the biz in the family. Dr. Martin has been great; thankfully, I haven't needed him to do any procedures on me.

If you're going in for a cleaning, ask for Gina. She's the hygienist I normally see. She's super skilled and professional and delightful to work with. In my last review, I mentioned that I used to pay cash because back then, I had a type of insurance they didn't take. But now I have new insurance, that they DO take, which is nice. But I'd still go here if I had to pay cash.

I began going to Dr. Tip Tippit and Dr. Schleicher (now Parker, Nickolas, Reed) for over 30 years. At that time they shared an office and I would see either one! They were THE BEST in Houston hands down. Like myself, they have both retired. And I miss them. I had a few beautiful porcelain crowns done on molars and a couple of root canals. However, Approximately 7 years ago I had an accident that broke my jaw and caused damage to a front tooth.

I went Schleicher Tippit and Aetna paid for that crown because it was an accident. They are beautiful. Update! It was not this dental group that messed up my teeth. I tried to delete or edit, but wasn't allowed. All the work this group did was excellent.

I came in because my tooth was chipped The person now is very friendly and outgoing and efficient. The doctors are very knowledgeable. However unfortunately I did not have such a great experience because my temporary tooth causing great pain. Fortunately they were able to squeeze me into the schedule and to redo the temp crown Today. I am awaiting my porcelain crown and at that point if everything goes well I hope you change the ratings to five star rating Even though I've been inconvenienced and had to go through the whole procedure again. The staff was absolutely fabulous and accommodating

Love this office! Sarah cleaned my teeth and was professional as well as caring. Also loved Dr. Shimek! The office is updated technology-wise, and there are plenty of smiles to go around, including mine! I'm going back

I've been coming here for years for my dad, had my dad under care from several dentists here, all great people but no one tops Dr. Shimek. She is THE best of the best from her knowledge and skills to her calm, warm, comforting demeanor from the way she talks and interacts. She is very sincere, calm, thorough, caring, AND her SKILLS and knowledge tops any other dentists I have encountered in the past.

I have a feeling that she probably was in the top ranking in her school days too. Very hard working, thorough, and diligent. I feel assured and secured when my dad is under her care- there is not even an ounce of apprehension or doubts in me. She is very confident in herself (in a very humble way), her skills, and she is very in control of herself and grounded which puts anyone interacting with her at ease.

She takes her time, listens, understands, extremely meticulous, very sweet, warm and very professional. I think she exemplifies how any healthcare practitioners should practice. I would confidently recommend her to anyone in search for dentist. She really is one of the best.

The hygienists I seen last year was OK. She was friendly, but the cleaning seem to take a while. *Note please just leave the saliva sucking thing in people's mouth. Saliva seems to build up quickly when your mouth is wide open. Which was very tiresome as I had to hold my mouth open the entire time. I thought those mouth opener things were standard. Anywho, I had a cavity to which they wanted me to come back another day to have filled.

Why couldn't this be done while I was there? The world may never know. Also, they recommended that I have my wisdom teeth pulled. They weren't and still aren't bothering, but they recommended it anyway. They said they have to ask the Doctor they use who comes in to pull wisdom teeth, if he could pull mine and they will give me a call.

Well I got the call and the Doctor isn't going to be able to do my pullings. But, we can try to find someone else who can do it for you. This is where I was lost as a client. First, the Doctor you use (irritating) isn't here everyday and he chooses who he wants to work on. Then, if he says no, then you will basically google someone. Not good! Made me feel passed around and I didn't like that. I wanted to have a "forever dentist", but I am still searching for that perfect family dentist.

Great customer service but a little pricey if they're not in network for you. I've seen 3 different hygienist over the past two years. The first one was great but unfortunately she retired. The other 2 were disappointing. The first one I saw multiple times. She does not pay attention to the saliva build up in your mouth while shes cleaning and you end up gagging on your on saliva the entire time.

The second one literally spent less than 10 minutes cleaning my teeth. She didn't even floss. I left with my teeth feeling just as dirty as when i walked in. I am now looking for a better dentist that's in network.

The hands down best dentist practice in the city. They have the most caring wonderful staff you could find in the business and do great work when it is necessary yet the don't try to suggest unnecessary procedures.

Have been going there for decades. Some doctors are better than others about explaining your dental situation and various treatment options, but overall they are all pretty great. They are prompt, friendly, kind, and do an excellent job.

A good place to have your teeth checked and treated, the staff are nice. The only thing I don't like is the waiting time is pretty long.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Tippit and his staff since I was in elementary school and now I bring my 4 year old. They let her be the helper with the instruments and send her home with a bag of stickers and toothpaste and brushes. She gets more comfortable every time. I wouldnt hesitate to send a friend or family member or even a stranger here. In fact, several of our family and friends are now patients!

It's hard to write a review without sounding like an overenthusiastic fangirl. Alas, Tippit Dental really covers every complaint you might have about going to the dentist. It's easy to find. There's ample parking. ***APPOINTMENTS ALWAYS RUN ON TIME.*** The front desk is organized and able to answer all questions. All insurance stuff is done before you come in, and the prices quoted are accurate to what you pay for services. Hygienists don't hound you about not flossing, but instead mention it and then chat about other things to make the time rooting around your chompers go by quickly. Dr. Trey is personable, skilled at what he does, and never pressures you with a sleazy up-sell. All in all, every crappy thing about that once-every-six-months appointment is a non-issue at Tippit Dental. Ten stars!

So far so good. Made it past parking lot which has spaces available all around the building. Got checked in and staff have been friendly so far. They have free wifi here so waiting to get called. Well it was a very pleasant experience having my checkup done by Mary B. who was very professional, exprienced and informative. Trust me i gave her the 20 questions deal and she passed and was patient with me. She was great so as a result Tippit gets 5 stars for this first round. I'm scheduled for a few more appointments so we'll see how those pan out. Stay tuned people!

Dr Tippit's office is an answered prayer: they run on time (even early sometimes if you are!) despite being busy, they have wifi and loaner iPads if you get bored, a brushing station in the bathroom with disposable toothbrushes if you didn't just come from home with a clean mouth (life is busy! Sometimes I end up at the dentist after a lunch date.), and they even have blankets if you get cold during your procedure.

All the staff are young, fun, and attractive, and they really explain what they are doing and make sure you're ok every step of the way. I recently had a filling at this office and I went in terrified. To worsen my fears, they do not have or use nitrous gas, which is why I will only give them 4 stars instead of 5. On the positive side, they have headphones and the novacaine shot didn't hurt at all and the procedure was not nearly as bad as I had invented in my mind.

I didn't have any soreness on my tooth after the filling was put in, so I would say Dr Moseley did a great job. I went home and took a nap and then had a normal day! Bring your own headphones though, because theirs are pretty uncomfortable.

Even though I moved from Houston quite some time ago, I still go back to get my teeth cleaned and to have all my dental work done here - I'm not kidding! I can't find anyone one in Austin who I trust as much as I trust Dr. Tip Tippit and Dr. Trey Tippit. They are thorough, they make sure I understand exactly what they're doing and why, and they don't hurt - not even their shots!

I NEVER feel like they are over selling me. Actually, one of the things I appreciate most about them is that they are so reasonable and thoughtful in their recommended treatments. OK, I can't believe I just went on and on about a dentist's office, but I really do think they are awesome and are really good at what they do.
