Dr. Marc was born and spent his early childhood in Montreal, Quebec then moved with his family to the south of Boston on Cape Cod. He graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Norwich University, a private military academy. After graduation Dr. Marc served four years in Europe as an Army Infantry Officer.
Kathie is part of the front office team, joining Mary to greet you when you arrive at our office. In addition to handling the office accounting needs, she is happy to help with appointments and assisting at the front desk. She is very warm hearted and delightful to have in the practice with her wonderful smile. She received her degree from OHSU in 1996 and has been practicing for 19 years, mostly in the Salem area.
Advancements in the dental sciences have made a lot of cosmetic dental procedures available to the general population. Some cosmetic procedures are very simple and basic in nature and can be completed in one or two office visits. Others are very elaborate procedures that involve the use of advanced technology and special dental training.
Let's face it, very few of us have perfect teeth, free of decay and fillings. You can probably see a filling or two in your own mouth, which do just that - "fill" a cavity, or hole, in your tooth left from the excavation of decayed tooth structure. In many cases, those fillings are made of metal material and can go bad, weaken the tooth, or get additional decay under or around it.

This is the absolute BEST dental office I've ever been to! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly care about all of their customers. They greet you by name when you walk in and make the whole experience enjoyable- I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of them! Dr. Panet is competent, a joy to be around, and always does amazing work. As an added bonus to an already great experience- you get flowers at the end of your visit :

Dr. Marc gave me a complete dental assessment, then went to work to make changes that amazed me. He allowed me to smile better than I have for many years. His equipment is the best there is. His staff are all personable and professional. I would be comfortable having a beer with him, watching TV at home. I would recommend him with full confidence. Jerry
