Over the summer of 2020, I was home and needed three wisdom teeth removed. I went to a few dentists and was quoted crazy high costs. Being walking distance from my home in Mt. Washington, I decided to see Dr. Steinmetz. The consultation was friendly, quick, and informative and the cost was friendly for my budget. The staff was great and Dr. Steinmetz was awesome.
He didn't push expensive add-ons to the procedure and eased my worries (I tend to be an anxious person). The tooth extraction went smoothly and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for seeing me last summer!

Had a filling replaced. Not enough time or not enough drug used to numb. Felt nerve pain throughout procedure. Tool to remove old filling hit and rattled front tooth quite hard. Inside cheek was nicked. Have never been to so such a careless dentist. This is my nick name and I assure you I was a patient here.

Have not been seen on time once since I've been here and have actually left after waiting 30 minutes in the parking lot before. Broke my molar yesterday and called to see if they could fix it and was told there's no way I could be seen since they double booked all this week and into next week. Explains why I always end up waiting. The dentist himself has always done amazing work when I actually get seen. Currently going back to my old dentist.

So, I broke up with my dentist of the past 10 years, in effort to establish a relationship and support another local Mt. Washington Business. (Since starting our own business, we have tried to do this as much as possible, because we know how important it is.) I can't say enough good things about the practice. Dr. Steinmetz (and Sheri, who has been the Practice Manager for 28 years) are incredible and they're literally 2 minutes from my home and place of business.
I was driving 40 minutes each way (what was I thinking) until Dr. Steinmetz popped into my business one day. Our entire family has switched over to using him. They treat adolescents and adults. They also do braces/invisalign. My significant other is undergoing ortho treatment and is seen every two weeks. I personally do not have dental insurance and know there are others out there in the same boat.
They have a plan for $249, that includes 2 exams, 2 cleanings and all xrays. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone is looking to make a change or establish care. They're very professional, efficient, affordable and conveniently located.

I was fortunate enough to grow up with wonderful dentists and never felt much pain. In recent years, my dad recommended someone new who I now call "the Butcher". The experience was so bad I switched dentists and then stopped regular checkups. When I had a tooth crack, Dr. Steinmetz was able to get me in quickly and completely fixed the problem along with another nagging issue caused by a filling made by the Butcher. Highly recommended.

Had two root canals done here. For one, a tool was broken off in my tooth and I had to pay a specialist to complete the job. Now I'm being told that the other one I had done is also not complete and I have to pay a specialist again. These procedures are incredibly expensive and painful and needing to complete them twice is unacceptable.

My family and I have been to this dentist a few times. Overall, the visits have been okay. We can get an appointment right away (no wonder) and it is close to home. Most recently, I went to this dentist to be dentally cleared for military service. The dentist and I mutually agreed upon what work would need to be completed in order to get his signature on the dental clearance form.
After two appointments in the same day, the work we agreed upon was supposed to be completed. Unfortunately, after the work was completed that we agreed upon, the dentist absolutely refused to sign the form until I got thousands of dollars more worth of work completed. I feel as though this dentist took advantage of the fact that I needed the form signed and used it to his advantage in order to get me to agree to thousands of dollars worth of cosmetic dental work that I was not ready to do at this time.
Unable to talk well due to being numb from the work, I left without my form signed. I feel that this practice was very deceiving and misleading to me and decided I would no longer be a patient here. I went later the same afternoon to another dentist for a second opinion. She took more x-rays and examined my teeth. She was able to sign my form without hesitation to dentally clear me for continued military service without any additional dental work. Use caution when dealing with something like this and always get a second opinion before committing to thousands of dollars worth of work that may be unnecessary.

While trying out an over ambitious DIY electric project with my kids, I stupidly hit pliers on my face and chipped my front tooth. This was not an emergency but the prospect of putting up a smile with a broken tooth was intimidating so I rushed to Just Smile hoping this clinic will help me regain one. Dr Steinmetz explained to me the process of composite restoration and the job was done before I knew it. I am really happy with the results. Two things I learnt from this experience: never try a DIY, rush to a dentist without any delay if you have broken tooth.
