Our mission is to provide the highest quality orthodontic care possible in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We will do this using the utmost in honest and ethical business practices. Simply put, if at any time we are faced with a choice that puts what is best for our practice in competition with what is in the best interest of our patients, we are committed to choose what is best for the patient.
We take the care of our patients very seriously. While our aim is to make our website easy to understand, and navigate we know there are times when you may need a bit of assistance. All email correspondence is completely confidential. We attempt to respond to emails within 24 hours. If you do not receive a response to your email, please call our office in case our email software has mistakenly deleted valid email as junk mail. When I arrived to Dr. Smart I was in bad shape. Me teeth had a gap in the front and spaces. Within 14 months, these issues were corrected and I now have the beautiful smile I've always wanted. The staff was awesome, friendly, and courteous. Dr. Smart is amazing and is a master at his craft. Thank you all so very much.

Smart Smiles Ystrad Mynach. I cannot recommend this dentist enough as having had horrendous experiences as a child, I am absolutely petrified of the dentists and only went when desperate. Luckily I have strong teeth and tried to look after them but could see they were getting discoloured, I had receding gums and chipped front teeth. About 3. months ago - after 2 years of umming and aaaing - i finally took a friends advice and booked an appointment.

Been to many dentists in the Cynon valley over the years and have never found a good surgery having always encountered problems with them for one reason or the other. I was very surprised with how clean the surgery is, how polite staff are and professional and reassuring the dentists are! This place is definitely the best in the Cynon valley and if you or someone you know is anxious about going to the dentists, I definitely recommend this place as they can't do enough for you!

Phoned on Friday to register 1st visit on Monday. I'm petrified of dentist, all staff receptionist, dental nurse & dentist were wonderful. Can't say I enjoyed visit as I'm so scared, but dentist especially was wonderful, got me through so much, I was terrified & had to apologise so many times. Thank you so much, your all angels!

Booked has seen the signs for taking on new patients. Absolutely petrified of dentists and anxiety goes through the roof. Booked in within days for consultation, X-rays, etc. All reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I knew what needed doing prior to my visit, so I explained before she x-rayed, this was all confirmed from the X-rays. Treatment plan put straight into place and booked in within 2 days for extraction. Visited today for extraction, very kind and caring, and extremely fast, originally I wanted sedation, but teeth didn't look deep so agreed to try the normal way, numbing gel was applied as requested. Only felt 2 out of all the needles, and they wasn't that bad, .

My 7 year old daughter has always been apprehensive after a previous bad experience. She had a filling today and the staff were totally amazing. I think Charlie was name of the dentist and she was amazing with my daughter, straight into the chair for treatment. I also have had treatment here and the service deserves more than 5

I really do not like people looking inside my mouth at all! After not being to the dentist in many years because of the fear of people looking in my mouth I'm so happy to say I feel at ease with the Ystard branch. Every time I go there the girls are lovely. All the staff are good as gold! Really happy with their service!
