At Colorado West Endodontics we specialize and limit our practice to root canal therapy and root canal surgery. Using our special training and experience to treat difficult cases that are referred to us by general dentists, we focus solely on endodontic care, emphasizing a comprehensive, educational approach to dental health. Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

I had an Apicoectomy with Dr. Beus this morning. I always have terrible dental anxiety but since the consultation, Dr. Beus and his staff made the whole thing super personable and comfortable. They aren't hard up people and make small talk (I enjoy) to make you comfortable. Dr. Beus was sure to confirm I wasn't in any pain and even described what he was doing through the procedure. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Beus and Colorado West Endodontics.

I dreaded having a root canal. A terrible procedure many years ago had me terrified to have a root canal performed. I was pleasantly surprised! I actually enjoyed my visit! Dr. Barnhurst was super awesome. Explained everything, took his time, etc. The assistant was so nice. Nitrous, protective glasses and noise-cancelling headphones made this root canal easy peasy. Totally recommend this place! Thank you for making this a great, pain free experience!

Wow what a great experience from the moment I walked through the door, the receptionist and assistant were so kind. I have been through some unexpected teeth issues in the last few months and have to say my root canal was the best of them all. Not that anyone ever wants to have a root canal done BUT if and when you need one Dr. Barnhurst is the guy to see. Still amazed how fast, easy and comfortable my visit was. Excellent. Kind, responsive, professional, good-humored team, who bent over backwards to work me into their schedule, which will let me leave for a long-planned-for trip. Well-designed, pleasant treatment rooms, and they communicated well and quickly with my Gunnison dentist. Couldn't ask for a better experience in taking care of my unexpected root canal. Greatly appreciated.

This is the best Clinic that my husband and I have ever been. My husband and I live 5 hours away and he was working near Silt and started having mouth pain (possible root canal). I called and they got my husband in the same day and treated him the best that they could. Ended up having abscess tooth and needed to have a root canal. Thank you for everything that you did. I wish I had the option to give you more than just the 5 starts you deserve 10.
