We are conveniently located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Our building and office are fully accessible to handicapped patients, and there is plenty of free parking. Please use zoom controls and map type selection features to toggle map placements and viewing options. With Invisalign, patients can enjoy an alternative to braces that is practically invisible.
The Lakeside Dental Team pledges to provide uncompromising dental care, using the most up-to-date methods and technology in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Our emphasis on patient education is the key to improved dental health and ultimately quality results that last. We're open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
For payment, we accept cash and checks, and the following credit cards: Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. For certain cases we can also arrange short-term in-house financing. We deliver excellent care at a reasonable cost to our patients. We therefore require payment in full at the time services are rendered, unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance.
Routine dental checkups are vital to good oral hygiene and are the best way to detect problems at their earliest stages. Early detection and treatment saves unnecessary discomfort, time, and money. The Academy of General Dentistry recommends checkups twice a year. Oral needs change with age and the condition of your teeth and gums.

Changing my review to 2 stars. I have been a patient here with Dr. Murphy for 7 years. Transition to new management had been fine with Doctor Sanjaar Khodjaev. But my last 4-5 visits have been with different hygienists and different doctors each time. Now Doctor K is on a rotation working some days a week at another location. This means longer wait times to see the doctor you want or with a doctor you have no relationship with.
Many folks have an anxiety about dental procedures, I wouldn't want to be on the chair being poked around by new faces each time! I used to love this place. Heart broken that I will be searching for a new practice. Adding one star after good follow up from their management. I need to see consistent improvement over a longer period for any further update to the review.

I'm someone with a lot of dental anxiety and fear. Before I visited Lakeside Dental I hadn't seen a dentist in 6 years. I was really anxious and scared but had to go. Thankfully everyone at Lakeside was great at handling my nervousness and were so good to me. They took things at my pace and explained everything with kindness and patience. Getting work done on your teeth is never fun (especially if you need a lot done), but Lakeside made the best of a tough situation. If you are someone who experiences a lot of anxiety and fear with dentist appointments, I absolutely recommend coming here.

I had an emergency tooth event and they were able to accommodate me. The clinic was busy to begin with but refused to turn me away! The staff is amazing! I don't leave reviews so for me to do so speaks volumes! The dentist was soft and explained the entire procedure prior to start. I have found my permanent home!

This dental practice is amazing, professional, and communicative. I have been a patient here for going on three years and have interacted with all of the dentists. All of my experiences have been really positive, including the time I came in for a cleaning and then had an anxiety attack right before we started. Danielle, my Dental Hygienist, was (and has always been) incredibly kind, compassionate, and calming. She remembers my family members' names and asks after them during each visit. Ask for her! I honestly look forward to visits here.

Doctor Khodjaev is an excellent dentist and an amazing human being. He listens to all your concerns and makes you comfortable and at ease. He is very knowledgeable, calm and a dedicated professional. I consider him as my luck charm! I would also like to mention about the staff around him, staff is simply amazing, helpful and very supportive. I would totally recommend him!

Lakeside Dental is absolutely superior. From the receptionist to the decor to the treatment, every aspect is thoughtfully and professionally done. Appointments are coordinated simply with an online protocol. The staff could not be more helpful. Everything is well organized. It is all completely patient centered. And my dentist, Dr Khodjaez was the best!
His personal manner was so nice. I cannot say enough great things about his attention to detail and my requests. His assistant dentist was also so wonderful. I actually really looked forward to my appointments. Don't like going to the dentist? Lakeside will change that for you

I met Dr. Martha Murphy today for the first time and I thought she was absolutely wonderful. I found the staff friendly and welcoming, I'm so glad my friend recommended Dr. Murphy. Today I met Dr. Susan Green for the first time. She was delightful and very professional. I am looking forward to having her take care of my dental needs. As always the staff was friendly and helpful.

I cannot say enough good about my appointment here! They got me in within 45 minutes of me calling with a dental emergency as a non-patient. Everyone was so friendly and gentle. They were also phenomenal about making sure that what was recommended in my treatment plan, was also covered by my insurance. I recommend Lakeside Dental wholeheartedly!
