Dr. Fabiani and Dr. Karp are graduates of the University of Florida. Both are currently Fellows in the Academy of General Dentistry, and are active members of the West Coast Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Sarasota County Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. They also belong to the Academy of General Dentistry and University of Florida College of Dentistry Alumni and Friends, and continue their education on the newest dental techniques in order to offer the most advanced dental care available anywhere.
Dr. Douglas R. Fabiani is from Clearwater, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He was accepted early into dental school. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2000, he was accepted into a General Practice Residency program at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. In 2001, after completing his residency, he and Dr. Karp began their practice in Sarasota.
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent service. I have not had dental insurance for about 16 years and have been a single parent for most of those years and my daughters health and dental work of course has come first. Because of this I need extensive work done in my mouth. When I can or have to go to the dentist like on this particular occasion I usually get a lecture.

Dr Fabiani is a fantastic dentist! He fixed my broken front tooth in a matter of hours. I went from looking like a jack o'lantern to having a perfect smile! He has state-of-the art equipment so he was able to not only design the crown from a digital scan but also to make the crown in his office. I am extremely grateful to Dr Fabiani and his excellent staff.

First off let me tell you how caring this Dentist office is. My life and my family's life were turned upside down and when Dr Karp and his staff found out about my sons passing they went out of there way too comfort us. I've been going to Dr Karp ever since I move to Florida 5 years ago the thing I like about Dr Karp is that he's honest and if there's something wrong with your teeth he will go over with you and let you know what exactly what's wrong and show you the payment plan so you'll see exactly what your paying for and yes they take insurance. I just want to Thank you Dr Karp and and your staff for being so caring.

Very professional, clean, and friendly office. Megan is a wonderful hygienist with great attention to care. Both doctors introduced themselves and couldn't have been more friendly. Administrative staff was excellent as well! All of the staff was kind and made my dental care and comfort seem like their top priority.

The most patient-focused and responsive dental provider I've ever known (and this, considering that my excellent childhood dentist/orthodontist actually lives nextdoor to my parents). Dr. Karp actually and personally returned an e-mail from me, as a prospective patient, with several questions. He answered them all and set me at ease. My experience as a patient has been so positive that I've been referring patients, including my own parents, to Dr. Karp and Dr. Fabiani for over ten years. Quality service providers in Florida can be hard to come by. Sarasota Dental Group is one of the finest.

Without a doubt the best dentists in Sarasota county. My whole family has been going to see Dr. Karp and Dr. Fabiani for years and they are truly brilliant. Everybody from the kids to my father (75+) have raved about their care. They even made my crowns on site! That is truly rare and much faster.
