Using the latest in digital x-rays, laser detection, and state-of-the-art cancer screening, Dr. Lawson and our staff offers exceptional preventive care.
Restorations, when properly designed, can provide years of healthy, natural looking smiles. If a tooth is cracked or badly decayed, an onlay or crown can be bonded into place to restore the tooth to its full strength and beauty. Onlays are the most conservative option for a restoration, requiring very little tooth removal and covering one or more cusps.

Kind, caring, professional, ethical and thorough. I totally trust this office to give me the best care possible, it's very clear that giving the best care is so important to all of them. Originally I went in for a second opinion (I was suddenly diagnosed with a ton of cavities). Dr. Lawson said I only actually has one. Jacque is the most thorough dental hygienist I've ever come across, and she's also super gentle. Very highly recommend this office.

I've learned about Dr. Lawson's office through the word of mouth from co-workers who have been his patients for several years. Having had quite sad encounters with various practitioners in New York and California, I was a bit sceptical to try another dentist. However, after experiencing Dr. Lawson's initial visit I was very pleased with his service and willing to continue the treatment. Dr. Lawson is very thorough, meticulous, and extremely good at his work.
His first exam is comprehensive and it includes cancer screening which is not a common practice among dentists, in general. He also uses loupes (not common) and an intraoral camera (not common) to diagnose patients. Dr. Lawson appears as an honest man with a patient's best interest in mind. He presented a treatment plan with options to help me set the priorities and prepare financially for future modalities.
Some may say that his prices might seem a bit elevated. But I say, after doing the math - it's a win-win situation. I have spent several thousand dollars on dentists whose work Dr. Lawson had to fix or remove. I chose the other dentists based on a price tag - not their skills, knowledge, and office technology - a not-a-good idea after all. I am also pleased with Dr. Lawson's office staff, especially his assistant, dental hygienist, and office manager.
These ladies are efficient and great at their work. All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Lawson's dental services. In my opinion, based on 15 years of experience with dentists on the East and West Coasts, Dr. Lawson is one of the best clinicians in the field of general and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Lawson and his staff are great. He explained in detail the different options/procedures for his patients. Dr. Lawson is friendly and nice and has state of the art equipment to show you what your teeth look like. I would recommend new patients to his dental office. The cleaning service is awesome too.

I have been going to Dr. Lawson for 14 yrs. he is absolutely the very best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Lawson has a very special technique for numbing your mouth painlessly, he has state of the art equipment in his office and TV's on the ceiling for your enjoyment. You won't be sorry you went to this office.

Well -- he just did it again-- when I had an issue with my tooth - really must get a night guard! - he not only called me at 9:45 pm on Friday - but had my records in front of him and offered yet again to interrupt his weekend to see me! Went today - he fixed the tooth NO CHARGE! - it was warrantied for 3 years! - Challenge anyone to beat this office in North County for customer friendly and great smiles-- I actually look forward to going to the dentist!
