They got me in on really short notice for two extractions. The staff were very professional and friendly. I am giving 2 stars became almost 10 days later, I still can't eat with the right side of my mouth. There is a sliver of what I'm assuming is toothpoking the gum, and is extremely painful to the lightest touch. Not being from that area, I cannot have them correct it and will have to seek local care when I am back home at added expense

My son got hit in the mouth with a baseball during the week. We were recommended to this place. When we walked in we saw Dr. Bob, he made everything that my son was experiencing so much smoother. He was patient and kind with the trauma that he was feeling from his teeth being pushed backwards in his mouth. I would always 100% recommend anyone to see him.
We will also be continuing our follow ups with him as well. Dr. Bob is seriously the kindest and most caring out there. (From my son- "Dr. Bob gives a nice mood to the room and made me feel a little less scared.")

I went to many dentists around my area and I didn't feel comfortable with any of them until I looked into Emergency dental USA and they made sure I felt comfortable and cared for. They walked me through every procedure and made me feel safe. I highly recommend for anybody who needs dental work done right away because they are always right there to help, make sure to see Dr.bob he helped me through everything and I am so grateful for him helping through my excruciating pain in my tooth and now I feel so much better. Thank you to everyone who works there and I hope everyone can have the same experience as I did.

I had to go to 3 different locations on the day of my appointment due to technical difficulties (not their fault) but let me just say the staff at all 3 locations, were amazing! The sweetest girls in the front and back, as well as great dentists who offered me advice on treatments vs just taking my money. They made my experience so smooth.

GUYS! IF YOU NEED YOUR WISDOM TEETH TAKEN OUT FAST GO HERE. I came in at 7:00 and was done by 8:20. The doctor was amazing and extremely sweet. I've been having this pain for a year and I was already set up to get surgery in 3 weeks. He saved me a good amount of money too. I'm coming back in 3 weeks to remove the rest! I'm eternally grateful for this office!

I've been here twice, now. Yesterday I had a bad tooth that was so much pain, I made an appointment same day, and everyone I had to speak to was so incredibly kind and efficient. I was in and out within 30 minutes for an extraction. Most of that time was prep and giving me options for billing, before committing. Doctor Woo took my tooth out in less than 30 seconds, no pain. I didn't feel uncomfortable, confused or rushed. Thank you guys so much.

Very disappointed with the service I received. The office itself, unsanitary, expired cleaning sanitizer.etc. paid $95 just for x-ray of one tooth that I needed extracted, broken first molar. The dentist didn't change gloves when came from examining previous patient. Looked at my mouth 2sec. Then offered me extraction for $419 (a non-surgical extraction). Definitely will not be going there again, nor recommend!

Went in needing an emergency extraction, had issues with my insurance being accepted so I paid cash. The extraction itself wasn't too bad, but I ended up with bone fragments in my mouth up to two days later and nerve damage in my face. Extraction was Friday after thanksgiving and I still have limited use and feeling in the left side of my face.

I have been here twice now for a last minute tooth pulling. They take you in super fast and understand your pain. Both dentist and helpers were so caring and absolutely wonderful. They get you in and out, and the whole time your in surgery they ask if your ok and genuinely have compassion. I will go here anytime I need a tooth pulled recommend this place times 10.

Avoid this place at all costs. I had a veneer fall out on vacation and went here. I paid $140 with insurance for the following experience. I arrive to my 9:30am appt. The receptionist/office manager Elizabeth is outside smoking a cigarette. I walk into the office and wait for her while she finishes her cigarette. I get tasked with 10 pages of unnecessary and repetitive paperwork.
I pay up front and give my ID for them to scan. The dentist is 45 minutes late for the appt. The hygienist takes 4 separate attempts at take unnecessary x-rays. The dentist arrives in a panicked flurry. Permanently cements my veneer back on. There is no bite test. He makes my gums bleed when he flosses between the sides in his hurried efforts. There seems to be some discord between him and the hygienist as they have an issue communicating about what steps need to happen in which sequence.
I am told I am finished. I leave and am 30 minutes away when I realize my ID is still is that scanner of theirs. Later that evening, my veneer chips off some of the hardened glue sticking out. Four days later the whole veneer falls out when I am brushing my teeth. Non-refundable. The absolute worst type of place to find yourself in. In case of an emergency, it's better to wait toothless than it is to ever cross the threshold of this emergency clinic.

I don't like to review stuff negatively unless it's potentially something that could affect someone else's health, so with that said: DO NOT COME HERE, for real. wait to go to a more credible place. the assistants are very gentle and nice. the dentist however is incredibly condescending (when I needed numbing he said "so you're going to be one of THOSE patients", which is just one example!) and ROUGH. in parts he was holding my jaw so hard his hand shook from it. it took 3 hours for my root canal and I was given nothing to hold my mouth open; by the end of it I had such bad lock jaw I couldn't open my mouth more than an inch or so for several weeks. during my root canal he, again, was incredibly rough.
I started crying at one point due to pain (the numbing shots had worn off) and both he and the assistant ignored it. i know this sounds exaggerated or not true, but that's literally just how unprofessional and rough it was. additionally, when I went to another dentist to get cavities filled, they were shocked at how badly it was done. PLEASE go somewhere else! I can't believe I paid over 2k to be treated like this and for it to be done so poorly :-)

An amazing experience from beginning to end. I ended up needing a root canal and a cap on a tooth. After all of the horror stories I've heard about a root canal they are completely unfounded. There was no pain and I was able to eat within a few hours of the initial root canal. Every process was smooth and I'd have no issue in using this office and this dentist again. Thank you for everything

I meant to write this review about a month ago but I lost track of time with work. I flew into San Antonio for work last month and ended up accidentally chipping one of my veneers while on the job. Not only did I panic, but I was not near my primary dentist so I rushed to another dentist office near my work. They patched up the veneer but the patch work broke off in less than an hour and I was back at square one.
I ended up googling emergency dental and wow, not only did the dentist on duty fix it up for me, but it looks better than it did originally . I wish I would have asked him his name but I had a flight to catch in 1.5 hours and I'm just so grateful this place exist.

I cracked my molar in half and needed to get it taken care of right away. The staff at Emergency Dental Care USA were friendly and professional. They got me an appointment that same day (Saturday) and did a great job with the procedure. The Dr. was very personable and made sure I was comfortable and calm throughout the experience. 5 stars.

This clinic does not have the proper phone customer service. Very rude when asking for pricing. Working in the dental field I do know pricing is hard to be given over the phone prior to the doctor actually diagnosing the correct procedure code. But, when asking what simple extractions did start at just to know their starting price, the lady huffed and puffed then told me "$200 ma'am". Worst experience compared to three other emergency dental clinics I called before this one.

Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. I made an emergency appointment for severe tooth pain I was in the office within hours and seen right away. They were upfront about all the costs and best course of action. I had a tooth extracted with an hour and pain free l. The staff are also amazing and friendly as can be I highly recommend them for any emergency dental needs. Thank you all so much

Absolutely horrible place. Made us pay upfront and then they charged our insurance (delta dental). The office told us our insurance would send a refund but after speaking with our insurance they said the dental office never should've charged us the full amount. The dentist office refuses to refund the money and we are now going on 2 years fighting back and forth with this place. We now have a complaint in with the attorney generals office in the hopes that they can help.

Aside from the wait time, I had a great experience with a same day extraction. The staff are very friendly and capable and I felt at ease the entire time. The only drawn back was they close from 3-4 for lunch, so when I got there at 3:30 for a 4 pm appt, no one was there. I waited out in the sun until they came back from lunch and then waited an additional 45 minutes inside while they readied themselves from lunch. Imo they shouldn't schedule appointments until 4:30 so they can really prepare themselves for the late afternoon patients. I paid $95 for the exam/x-ray and $419 for the same day extraction without insurance.

Visited this dentist after a root canal at another dentist and my temporary crown came off. I had called and they said they had openings available within the hour. This was late afternoon on a Friday. My other dentist could not get me back in until the following week. Immediately as I walked in I was greated by name after I said I had called earlier.
The administrative staff was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned with my situation and assured me that my issue would be resolved that evening. They were very upfront about how they worked financially and what could be expected with cost. They help me way my options and gave me time to decide waiting even after I spoke to the dentist. I filled out some paperwork and went right back.
After speaking with the dental assistant and getting some xrays done the dentist came right in and spoke with me. I explained the entire situation from beginning to that point and the dentist listened attentively and without interruptions. The dentist ask me what I was wanting to do and I explained what I was concerned about. He was very open about what he thought and said I didn't need to worry and that my situation was fine and I didn't need to rush.
I had an appointment already scheduled with my normal dentist for the crown next week but was unsure about the temporary falling off. The dentist said he would love to do the work but it was not necessary and I could wait until my appointment later. He also gave my some advice on other things he saw going on but was not pushy about him doing the work.
He said for me to come back anytime if I had questions, needed another opinion or needed something done. He would be happy to help. He said he loves what he does and loves to help people and doesn't push people to do unnecessary treatments. He has been a dentist since the 80's and is very knowledgeable and has great concern about his patients. He is truly and old school genuine doctor. Thank you Dr. Bob and thanks to your great team.

Although they were able to get me in on within hours to look at a chipped crown, the experience was less than pleasant. I called around 4:45 and was given a 6:30 appointment, after confirming the address with the receptionist I asked if there was anything else I needed to know. She said, No the address would get me to the right place. My GPS got me there perfectly, however, once in the parking garage for building (valet only), the attendant asked me how long I would be.
I told him I had a 6:30 appointment and wasn't sure how long it would be. He told me that I needed to park somewhere else since they close at 7:00, it was 6:15. This would have been helpful to know when I asked "Is there anything else I need to know?" The attendant let me know that I could cross 6th and park at Pacific Place. I thanked him and went across the street to park.
Once I found the office, the receptionist was on the phone, it seemed I bothered her to help me. Bottom line, it cost me $95 for unnecessary x-rays that the DA hurt me doing, she was also more interested in cleaning the x-ray machine than getting the ton of lead off of me in a sweltering office, she moved like a slug. The dentist came in, looked at the tooth, said Yep, it needs to be replaced.
I asked if I was ok until I could talk to my dentist on Monday and he tried to convince me to spend another hour there so he could replace it. No thank you, I just wanted out of there. It also cost me $7 to park for the time I was there. I wasn't going to pay downtown Seattle parking prices to have the tooth fixed.

The manager of this office is horrible. Name started with a E. Shes really rude. I cracked my tooth and needed emergency surgery. She said they dont take my insurance. So i told her what tooth it was and what needed to be done and asked if she could let me know if these things costs hundreds or thousands. Super duper rough estimate. She refused to help me.
Then when i asked to talk to another person, she became crazy and pulled a narcissist move and wouldn't let me even speak to another person at the office. Then she started yelling at me with her lisp and hung up on me. Ill never call this place again. This place lost business and repeat business because they have this lady disrespecting clients.
I hope the owners or managers listen to the recorded call at 6:58pm June 8th and fire her. if she treats clients this bad, i would have to imagine she has lost this company alot of money in the past.

So grateful today for Emergency Dental Care. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and developed an abscess last night. No exaggeration, this pain is worse than childbirth. Called the clinic in the morning, they had me in a chair in 45 minutes. The staff were very kind and professional. They took an x-ray and I was out the door with antibiotics and a treatment suggestion within 20 minutes.
Because of my pregnancy, my treatment options are limited, but the prescriptions took away the agonizing pain. While they didn't accept my health insurance, if you ask (on the phone or in person) they are very upfront about pricing on various procedures. An x-ray and exam cost me $95, and I have the average cost I could expect to pay for treatment to fix the issue that caused the abscess.
The staff was very friendly and I didn't feel pressured or shamed by asking about cost. This is my third trip to Emergency Dental Care and I've not been disappointed, only relieved, with their services and care.

I had an urgent dental issue on Saturday so I called Emergency Dental Care USA and asked them if they could perform the procedure today as I would be a new client. The lady on the phone who took my appointment said yes. When I arrived, they performed the procedure as promised. I was very happy with the service I received!

Everyone here is SO NICE & such flexible hours. I recently went in to get some teeth extracted & it all went by so smoothly and extremely fast. I see everyone commenting because of cost, but my advice would be look ahead online to see if they accept your insurance before you go. I paid barely anything for 4 wisdom teeth extractions + x-rays. Will definitely be coming here again. Love Dr. Wu & Charlotte was extremely nice & they both went over the top to make sure I was comfortable.

Upon arrival in Tacoma after being chased around the world by Corona Virus I was forced to sleep in the Sea Tac airport nearly broke while needing a dentist, so with some desperation I found "Tacoma Emergency Dental" who started my welcome home by insisting I pay for un-needed ex-rays and in-spite of my protestations the receptionist assured me that I'd get a refund if they couldn't fix the problem "I know how to refund!" she reassured, after a couple minutes in the dental chair the doctor said "I can't help you", seems she didn't have the ability or the tool required and with that she simply turned me away before ever seeing those un-wanted, un-needed ex-rays.
The office then refused me my refund, money I'd put-up to get in, I recognized that I was being taken advantage of, conned and with little money left after being stranded in Europe during lockdown I was quite destitute and with a bad tooth unable to find a shelter, another victim of corona virus it seems, no far more, I was the victim of dental Greed here in the good old USA, a dental clinic without integrity, a con job without ethic.
The dental staff all understood my situation but kept my money anyway, for nothing offered, nothing preformed, nothing given leaving me with less than thirty-dollars in my pocket, I was devastated! They even proclaimed that making the refund, at first agreed upon, would be "Illegal", Illegal? What law anywhere in the world would require payment for nothing, it was worse, it was Tacoma Emergency Dentistry doing its thing, conning the public, taking advantage of the victim.
Clearly keeping the last of my money was more important to them than any semblance of caring, compassion or ethics, I was robbed in a dental office on Steel Street - Welcome home. Tacoma Emergency Dental near the Tacoma Mall is a place you don't want to be! So I'll consider returning to Asia after this dual-disaster heals, the dentists overseas are at least honest and a fraction the price!

This place price gouges horrifically. My 79 year old friend on limited SS income had 2 of her front bottom teeth removed and they charged her 905. We called beforehand and they said they don't charge extra for emergency visits and said their upfront exam fee was 105. We paid the 105. After the exam they said it would be 700 cash with no cash discount.
I told them I was going to run home to get the cash so she wouldn't have to spend her entire income for the month and by the time we got back they had already charged her card 798. That was near to her every dime in her account. And they didn't wait until I got back less than 10 minutes later. I called my dentist later and was told their charge for simple extraction for both bottom teeth would have been around 400.
It took them less than 10 minutes to pull her teeth and there was nothing complicated about it. Don't let the only emergency dentist come up fool you. These people price gouge and rob and don't care that they steal from the poor and desperate to do it. Call around and price compare. SeaTac family dentist offers emergency services and will do so professionally without price gouging.

I performed a tooth extraction in early September last year. My insurance already issued the payment to Emergency dental care in October and the font desk told me they will send me a check within 3 months. However, it has been almost 9 months, but I still haven't got anything! Meanwhile, I visited EDC three times! They always told me the same thing "we will send you a check within 3 months". What the fuck is that? Where is my money! If I still won't receive within this month, I will find a lawyer to sue you motherfuckers!

If I could leave no stars, I would. They put payment first, help second. Shouldn't even be called "emergency". The blonde receptionist had no empathy to the severe pain I was in. Had no insurance and couldn't pay for all of the evaluations and treatments needed, and another staff member completely ignored when I asked for her help. Worst office I've ever been to. Avoid this place. The positive reviews are from people who had no problems paying.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office. Everyone I came in contact was exactly who would want to deal with. especially in a dental situation.they were awesome. no hidden agendas. warm and compassionate. fun! I needed a root canal. no one likes dealing with that right! I Hate Hate Hate the dentist and if you don't believe me I have names and phone numbers that you can call! I'm deathly afraid of needles.worse than a child.
I had a nurse chase me around the room once that is how bad I am! Let me tell you about Dr. Harrison. what a gift from above. This man is Amazing to the 10th degree. I never felt the needle at all and I mean never. He did my root canal so good I could have slept through it! Yes you read that right. I am so excited now to take care of my dental needs as long as he is doing it! He is my Dental God! Thank You Seattle Office you are the BEST

This place was great in my experience. They were able to get me in the next day when I needed to get in when my regular place was closed for the next three days. I even called a couple hours before to cancel due to a family emergency, and then called back later to reschedule and still got in the same day. They were all nice and helpful, and really explained everything well.
I ended up not needing a big procedure which was nice, just some antibiotics and to go back to my regular dentist when they were open. I'll will definitely go to this place again if I need to.

The team here saved me! I was having SEVERE tooth pain and the first dentist I went to gave me antibiotics and sent me home. The next day, I came to these guys, they pulled the tooth and 24 hours later the pain is gone. They were all so kind and patient with me and I'm so grateful that they got me in on such short notice.

What a fricken rip off! CHRISTINA the office manager and FRANK the so called Dentist who has a degree in Liberal Arts and is acting as a dentist are complete con artists! Wont except my calls to correct their scam! We go in for an emergency root canal because their website says that is what they do! Earlier in the day we had gone to our regular dentist and they gave us a diagnoses and a referral.
A co worker recommended to go to Emergency Dental Care in Tacoma to get the root canal. We go there with the diagnoses from earlier in the day, they charge us $90.00 to rediagnose and then say they cant do a root canal on a molar! WTF. They knew before they charged us $90.00 that they could not do it and charged anyways! I highly recommend finding a qualified no scamming dentist office! Never again! 0 stars for these fools!

I called here because my husband was in pretty bad shape and didn't want to wait thru the weekend until his monday afternoon appt being in so much pain. I asked if they took his insurance (state plan) and they don't. The receptionist gave me a quote of $125 for the exam and then the treatments would be on top of that. I asked what the treatments ranged and she could not give me an answer. Said it just depended.
I started giving her examples like "root canal" or "extraction".anything. Hit me with a number. Throw me a scale from lowest to highest. A ball park. Anything?! She could not. I was annoyed and did not want to make the drive into Seattle and jump thru all the hoops if we were going to get to a point if being quoted some price (another post said 2,300) that we would not beable to handle. I work in medical office and can always give cash pay quotes to patients so I thought that was a little perculiar.

I went in this time 12/31/18, I didn't appreciate the receptionists snippy responses. I asked her to run my secondary insurance & she said she already knew, . I was surprised my root canal and crown had an out of pocket cost for me ($900 & something). I have great insurance. I suggested running it again when I return for my upcoming appointment and again I was told the new year wouldn't make a difference.
I told her I was going to check with another place as I didn't believe there should be a co-pay, I told her to keep my scheduled appointments & that I'd call to cancel if need be. SURE ENOUGH, the next dentist I went to ran my insurance and I paid $0 out of pocket! And it only took one appointment as opposed to the two I was told I needed here. Disappointed.

I was really pleased with my visit! For $90, They x-rayed my problem to us and gave me a very detailed consult. I left with antibiotics and pain meds to manage my pain and tackle infection. I did not feel pressured to move forward with the procedure that I wasn't ready for. The dentist was knowledgeable, kind, very detailed, and Took his time to review every single option available.

I don't do reviews often especially when it comes to dental work, who likes to go to the dentist? But this place is awesome. Just my type of dentist office, nothing fancy, but they get straight to the point and straight to work. Both times I've been to this place it has been in and out and what I came for was done and done properly. Plus they're opened on weekends and that's very convenient for me. GREAT place!

I had to get an emergency wisdom tooth extraction because I had gotten an infection. They got me in that same day (or very next day, I don't remember) which was pretty cool. When I first walked into the office, the lady sitting in the reception area wasn't super nice.kind of condescending air to her.and then there was this young looking Indian man chilling behind her with both of his feet crossed and up on the counter.
I thought to myself, "Who's this kid back there straight chillin? Shouldn't he at least pretend to have manners and act decent in a professional dental office where he's in plain sight to customers?" Turns out he was the dentist who'd be performing my extraction LOL. He did a fine job, the dental assistant (very nice lady) did a fine job also.
It hurt like hell (tons of pressure of him YANKKKKINGGG that tooth out of my head--this is normal I think) and I wish I could've been put completely under for it, but oh well. It got taken care of promptly nonetheless, which is all I really hoped for. The casual dentist was nice, but I wish he had been more caring and thorough with instructions following the procedure.
Like a loving grandpa or something. It felt like he was just like, "Deuces!" and dipped. The receptionist, despite sounding a little impatient with my question asking and ignorance, at least offered the most helpful advice about what I should do to take proper care of it. Ten days later I returned to the office because I was still experiencing pain.
I called and came in and they told me to come in within 30 minutes of the call (yay!). Only about 15 minutes waiting in the waiting room while the dentist on duty was finishing up another procedure and I was seen! Dr. Atwood kindly informed me that I had dry socket--ugh. He stuffed a collagen cube into the socket (slight ouchie) to seal the exposed nerves/bone and I was good to go. No cost at all for the visit or the collagen cube. Healed up fine within the next 4 days. Overall decent experience and I would come again if I had another emergency.

Great emergency service! My finance's wisdom tooth was infected and when we called at 9am on Saturday morning they had us in by 1230pm. He ended up needing an extraction. They were very up front about the cost and the office staff was very friendly explaining they to submit to insurance. The cost wasn't that far off from a "regular dentist". X-ray and initial consultation was $125 and total with extraction was about $500.
I was expecting to be hit with emergency fees and blah blah but really not bad! We were home and icing by 4! We actually used Spot Hero and got a parking spot in a garage for $6 for the day because we weren't sure how long we would be there. So I can't comment on building parking. The view from the dentist chair wasn't bad either! Just sad we missed a beautiful day as he as recovering

I had a tooth that broke and my root was exposed. I WAS DYING! I made an appointment online and was able to be seen that same day. I arrived early and was seen at my scheduled time with no extra waiting. The Receptionist was great. It's never fun to discuss money but she took care of everything. She contacted my insurance Company, gave me the breakdown of what my responsibility would be.
When I told her I couldn't afford the entire amount for the much needed root canal upfront, she worked with me on a payment plan that worked for me. The Dental Assistants were attentive and welcoming. Dr. Atwood performed my root canal that same day. I couldn't believe it. I walked in expecting I would have to save my money and reschedule the procedure for another day.
But here I was getting it all taken care of at once! I am so grateful to Dr. Atwood and supporting Staff. They really took good care of me. Yes, I recommend Emergency Dental Care USA to anyone who needs emergency work. They are open on weekends and are open later than most dental offices I found which is incredibly convenient.

Stay away from this place! It is such a scam! Shady Shady Shady business practices! Even if you have insurance they require you to pay them $69 Upfront for X-rays and your visit. It's subject to a refund when your insurance pays them. The young gal at the front desk could not make heads or tails of my insurance and I spent over an hour trying to figure it out with her.
She kept going in and out of this door to talk to a woman who never seemed to be able to come out. It was like she was the great wizard of oz in the back and she was pulling all the strings. This poor girl! I went in with two different insurances that both were valid and they still wanted me to pay over $500 until they could prove that my insurance would pay them.
I pay for insurance so I don't have to pay the dentist! I finally confronted the woman who owns the place. She was defensive & wanted to hear nothing about my complaints because obviously I was complaining. I told her that I should have read the Yelp reviews. Big red flags! She said, "I hate Yelp". Well I guess so! When you are running a shady business people are going to tell on you!
On a side note the dentist I had who did my exam was fabulous and I can't wait for him to escape that place and open up his own practice because I would totally go to him! Do not go here unless you like spending your hard-earned cash!

I had a pretty traumatic experience with a deep cleaning when I was younger and it always makes me super nervous whenever I have to go to the dentist. My wisdom tooth was broken awhile back and the last two days, the pain became excruciating. I saw that Emergency Dental Care USA had TONS of great reviews. The reason for the 5, started when I messaged them on Facebook and they assured me I'd be less nervous and they'd take care of me. Felicia was very friendly and inviting.
She told me every step of the way what was going to happen and I beyond appreciate that. She even grabbed me a blanket because I was freezing! Talk about an amazing customer experience! Dr. Porter was amazing as well. Assured me that I'd be ok and even made me laugh. He was very thorough with informing me of the procedure. He numbed me really well, I literally felt nothing.
I want to recommend this place to EVERYONE. I'm a picky guy when it comes to dentists and I have not one negative thing to say about Emergency Dental Care USA or their staff. Beyond satisfied!

I will be coming here for non-emergency care now going forward! Great staff and great - experience even being in so much pain! I woke up in excruciating pain thinking I needed an emergency root canal. I was really worried about how much emergency services would cost, but felt at ease with all the financing options and ways the website told me they would work with me.
I requested an appointment online in the middle of the night for their first opening in the AM! Theresa was wonderful and called me right away to confirm my appointment. My normal dentist out in Issaquah who I had seen for years didn't answer my 10 phone calls over the course of an hour so I was so frustrated! I was running late for a meeting so she even did her best to hold over my time slot for me.
Since I did end up running a little late, someone else had to get started, but Theresa from the front desk came back with me and took my x-rays and kept me company while I waited. The wait time was a little long (because I was late - my fault), but I was so thankful to have someone who just chatted like a good friend that entire time and it really helped take my mind off the pain. Dr. Shorey helped me immediately and showed me the source of the pain and things my own dentist never even pointed out to me, like how I clench so hard I'm causing cracks in my own teeth!
My own dentist never noticed this. Other reviews say the receptionist is "extremely rude" and I disagree with this. She has been doing this for a very long time and is super knowledgeable. She comes across straight to business, because this is her job. She knows her stuff and pointed out things in my x-rays before the doctor came back and was spot on.
When you start to chat with her, she is beyond kind and even gave me a follow up call within 2 hours after I left to give me information about something I asked for. As I said, I will be coming here for all my non-emergency dental care now.

I really really don't like to leave one star review on Yelp. However, I just want to warn you before you go in for a tooth pull. Yes, this place is very convenient & looking very professional from exterior if you live or work in downtown. Yes, I guess my bill was included for the location. I included the receipts of the unreasonable price of $425 total. Service/front desk and wait time duration were very unacceptable as well.
The lab was in was very outdated-wall paint started coming off and so on. Again, I thought I was paying for the cost of being downtown atmosphere. My learning note: Call & compare total cost prior to making emergency appointment at a dentist from now on.

A dentist that bills itself as an emergancy dentist and further one that tells us to go ahead and come in, doesn't even deserve one star when once we show up tells us there's no way to be seen today. What's worse is once we were told to come on in and that the last patient will be seen at 7, my wife had to pack up our 6 week old infant and drive from elk plain to Puyallup to pick me up at work.
I left my job several hours early and we made a substantial effort all because of the assurance we just received that I would be seen. Reminding the gal at the front desk that we were just instructed to come right in just received back an insensitive " well I answer the phones, and I never told you that." Aone of these two statements cannot be true.
Either she did remember telling is that or someone else answers the phone. So after leaving work and dragging the whole family out we are heading back home. In excruciating pain, and at least this person could care less.
