Davidson Family Dentistry moved into its new facility at 8573 Urbandale Ave., Urbandale, Iowa in 2005 after years in the Beaverdale section of Des Moines where it operated under the name of Beaverdale Family Dentistry. The current location is within easy reach of most areas of Des Moines and the surrounding suburbs and is conveniently located between Hickman and Douglas off 86th St.

A toothache is a very clear sign that something is wrong dentally and it is always a reason to give us a call. The pain may be originating in a specific tooth or in the gums. Sometimes it is clear what is causing the problem but other times the location of the pain is harder to pinpoint or may originate from one or more sources.
A crown can make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance. It can help strengthen a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough tooth remaining to hold the filling. Crowns can also be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that is already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped.

New patient at Davidson family dentistry. I hadn't been to a dentist in a while. They made me feel very welcome and at ease. I will be telling my wife about the clinic so she can start going there as well. I am very impressed this far with the dentistry and look for them to be my dentist for years to come. A+

Charged me for free cleanings and I was only reimbursed after I had pointed that out. They also charge me at the time of service and then conveniently sent me another bill, stating that they were just questemating at the time of service. Qouted me silver fillings even after telling them that I wanted the natural white then charged me for the natural white and said "tough luck we messed up but you have to pay".
No wonder this place is full of expensive art, artifacts and pop culture from taking peoples money. Bad service all around. Also cracked one of my teeth while installing a fillng and told me, "sometimes that happens".

Dr. Davidson and his staff have been so great to work with.! I have had to have a lot of dental work done and Dr. Davidson explains what each procedure will entail and wants his patients to be comfortable. I have high anxiety when it comes to dental work and I have appreciated their bedside manner. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Baier and Aubrey were so kind and took the time to get to know me as a first-time patient as well as help me understand my x-rays and concerns - they were swift and considerate with my exam and continually made me feel comfortable! My cleaning with Ann was smooth, fast, and painless.
