After attending Queens College and Fordham University, Dr. F. Colombo received a D.D.S. degree from Marquette University where he graduated at the top of his class. He then served as Captain in the U.S.A.F. at Headquarters Command in Washington, D.C. Upon leaving the U.S.A.F. he established a practice in South Ozone Park, N.Y.
A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of your face. Even a subtle change can make a big difference in the way you look and feel. New techniques like bleaching, bonding, enamel shaping, veneers, and white fillings allow us to create a beautiful smile with, at times, only minimal changes to existing teeth.
Dental Implants have been used successfully for many years. The implant itself is a post that is surgically placed in the jaw. A prosthesis (artificial tooth or teeth) is then attached to the post. Dental implants involve cooperation between an oral surgeon and our office. The surgical phase of treatment is completed at a specialists office, and the restorative phase is completed at our office.
Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses which must be paid by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care.

Yesterday was the first time I went to the office. I was amazed at the friendliness of the entire crew. I was immediately greeted and after a very short wait, I met Lisa who was very calming in the usual "dentist office fears", in fact we had a pleasant conversation as if we were old friends. I then met with Dr. Liu who was professional and had a great bedside manner.
In my long life he was the fourth dentist who ever worked on my teeth AND he was the only one who was able to explain what work I needed, outlining all the alternatives including the pros and cons for each. I was never pressured to chose any specific plan and was able to select the plan that fit my own particular need. On leaving, Dr. Victoria approached me and introduced herself and welcomed me to their office.
I appreciate the fact that she made that effort and seemed truly caring. The front desk staff also added to the friendliness. If you ever had trepidations and nervousness with going to the dentist this is definitely the place to go since they alleviate any fears you may have. I am happy to become a member of the Columbo family.

I recently found out that I needed to have a wisdom tooth removed at 6 months pregnant during a routine checkup visit, Dr. Victoria Colombo was very confident and offered to communicate with my OB to make sure the procedure is safe. I went back after 2 weeks and she made it as painless as possible, in and out in less than 30 mins. Same day of procedure she called to check on me. Everyone is very nice in the office. Would definitely recommend!

I have been using Colombo Dental Associates since I was a little girl. The dentist was never a frightening experience for me because the Dr. Fred Colombo, Dr. Victoria Colombo and Dr, Frank Liu are so friendly, kind professional and really put you at ease. Further, the rest of the staff, Lisa, Barbara, Ann, Kaitlin and anyone else who I may have forgotten to name are so wonderful as well. I could not imagine going anywhere else to ensure that my teeth are in good shape. I love you all as you are like family to me!

I recently visited Dr. Vicky's practice for the first time and I wanted to post a quick review. Dr. Vicky and her staff make it apparent right away that it is of the utmost importance to each and every member of the team that all patients have the best experience possible, and I can personally attest to the fact that she and her team definitely go above and beyond to make that happen.
From the very first call with Kaitlyn of administrative, right up to my initial first visit, Dr. Vicky and the team made it very clear that they work hard to ensure that all health and safety concerns of their patients are met. I am very satisfied with the level of dedication that Dr. Vicky and every member of her team showed me and I honestly couldn't ask for anything more! Overall, I am so glad that I chose Dr. Vicky's practice and I am confident that she will keep me smiling for many years to come!

I recently made the big move from Texas to New York and as a result I have been on the search for a great place to get my teeth cleaned. My old office in Texas was phenomenal so the bar was set pretty high. Dr. Colombo and her entire team did not disappoint. From the ladies at the front to my dental hygienist, Barbara (who is literally the sweetest person I've ever met), I felt taken care of every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about this office. If you're looking for a new dentist Dr. Colombo is definitely who you should see. You won't regret it!

It is with the greatest pleasure that I am giving Colombo Dental Associates a five star rating! Dr. Victoria Colombo is friendly, efficient and thorough. When she asks how I have been, I believe she genuinely cares. I feel free to ask questions and voice my concerns without feeling rushed or dismissed. All these accolades also apply to Barbara, the office's Dental Hygienist, who inflicts little or no pain or discomfort when cleaning and polishing my teeth. (My former hygienist from another practice was a sadist at heart!) Barbara always asks pertinent questions and offers valuable advice.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Victoria Colombo at Colombo Dental Associates. I rarely write reviews but wanted to share my positive experience as I know how hard it is to find good doctors! From my first phone call to meeting Dr. Victoria Colombo, everyone was so friendly and helpful. During my cleaning, Dr. V. was very thorough in explaining what she was doing and gave me some great tips to continue caring for my teeth and gums.
This office and team are personable, and really seem to value patients' time as I did not have to wait at all and though they are thorough, they are quick too, which I appreciate! I also felt very comfortable and safe in the clean environment which is especially important during COVID. Thanks to Dr. V. and the team!
