Dr. Mita Desai earned a DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California in 2004. During her training in California, Dr. Desai was honored to receive awards for excellence in dental anatomy, outstanding dentistry, and patient oriented care. Prior to coming to the U.S, she earned a dental degree and worked as an Associate Dentist in a busy, private family dentistry practice in Mumbai, India. Following dental school, Dr. Desai came to North Texas and worked as a general dentist in Richardson and Irving.
General dentistry is the branch of medicine involving the care and prevention of oral health conditions, diseases and disorders. During the last 20 years, dental implants have become a desirable alternative to other methods of replacing missing teeth. I had my first visit with Dr. Desai's office today and it was great. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I knew I would like this office from my first phone call. Karen was extremely helpful getting my insurance verified and worked with my previous dentist to get my records transferred, Margaret was very friendly and informative while cleaning my teeth.
She taught me things that I didn't previously know and Dr. Desai was very thorough and kind. They were running about 15 minutes behind and Karen called to let me know so I didn't have to wait around in the office which was great since I hadn't left my house yet. I've never had a doctor's office do this and it was very much appreciated. All in all very pleased with my first visit and would highly recommend! You won't be disappointed

The clinic has a very friendly vibe. The clinical team is very cohesive and highly efficient. They pay attention to what you say and answer questions fully. The Dentist is quite capable and relaxed when working and always shows concern for the welfare of her patient. I can honestly say that this is one of the absolute best dentist offices I have been to! Every single staff member is beyond friendly. The dentist herself takes the time to talk to you and answer any questions you have. I recently moved but I will continue to drive 25 minutes to go to this Clinic even though I have one just up the street from me. Seminary Dental is AWESOME!

Seminary Dental is hands down the most cleanest, friendliest dental clinic, and has the most efficient staff. They always go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Mita Desai has been our dentist for more than 14 years now. She is incredibly professional, calm and warm. I always feel that they are providing me with the best care possible for me and my family. I highly recommend - one of the best dentists I have ever had!

I went to Seminary Dental Clinic for the first time today. After my dentist retired, I had to find a new dentist. After some trial and error, I am so happy I found Dr. Desai and her team. The front desk made me feel welcomed, the hygienist Jennifer was so personable and Dr. Desai answered all my dental questions. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. I'd highly recommend her.

I was looking for a dentist and my sister referred me to Seminary Dental Clinic. She had nothing but good things to say about them. I am highly satisfied with Dr. Mita Desai and staff. They are all very nice and pleasant. I let Dr. Desai know what I needed and she met all my needs. She actually went over and beyond what I expected. I am extremely happy.
