Mitoma & Nakamura

Wow, it's been nearly 17 years and three moves, but I keep coming back. Yes, today I drove 90 miles back to my family and friends in Tracy, California. My health care about my teeth and gums and tummy which I've learned are all related, have received loving guidance. I trust their knowledge and sincere answers to all my questions. All my loved ones (new and old friends too) in need have come to their chairs and entrusted their care and talent to better their health. Thank you all with love.

Me and my Fiance were scheduled for cleaning on the same day and we were both very well taken care of. They are professional and clean and absolutely thorough. My teeth felt great and after COVID and not being able to get our teeth cleaned they were gentle and patient with both of us. We have moved are dental care to this office and recommend them to our friends and family in the area. Thank you and be safe in these trying times.

Today Dr. Nakamura and her whole staff were amazing! I do have anxiety when going to the dentist, but Dr. Nakamura and her staff made me feel so comfortable and had me laughing the whole time. I had a very difficult tooth that needed a lot of work. Dr. Nakamura was so patient with me and explained everything. I even got to see my crown aka new tooth! The office is so clean, welcoming and overall amazing! I will definitely be going back for all my dental needs!

I live in San Jose, but I like this practice so much I make the commute to Tracy for my dentist appointments! They are friendly, clean, always on the cutting edge of their knowledge and I really like them.

As always great medical care and great people. We have been with these folks for at least 20 years.

We have been dental patients for Mitoma & Nakamura for the last 25 years! They know my whole family! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental needs! Gentle and professional!

If you're in the central valley this is a great dental office to go to. Everyone here is an asset to the establishment; everyone is kind, respectful and actually seem to like their jobs. Apparently this office and staff have been here for quite some time, over a couple decades if I'm not mistaken. There was no pre-screening exam required which is totally annoying that a lot of other dental offices push and or require, no up-selling or scare-tactic selling (seems to happen when you have existing amalgam fillings), just a good old fashion dental office where you get the service you're seeking with a smile. Sylvia, the receptionist is very helpful and kind, she got me in quick and managed to get my cleaning and exam on the same visit. Debbie was my hygienist, she did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.

She listened to my concerns about sensitive areas on my gums and cleaned accordingly. She did a very thorough job and connected with me on my concerns regarding teethe, gum care and everything else we chatted about. Dr. Mitoma did a thorough job examining my teethe, he gave me his honest opinion on the status of my teethe and gums. There was no up-selling motive on his part as I've seen with other dentists out here in Tracy that I will not mention on this review.

He took the time to explain why my gums are receding and answered my other questions and concerns I had. This dental office has restored my faith in good old fashion dentistry out here in the valley. After leaving my Union City family dentist a year and a half ago, it has been an absolute nightmare finding a new one that was comparable. Great job team, keep up the good work!

Updated: amazing and quick service. Came in for maintenance cleaning and I was treated like family! Any type of dental work gives my anxiety and the woman cleaning and measuring my gums was very friendly. She spoke to me like I've known her for years. So glad that I'm not feeling nervous for my next check up.

I live in Stockton and drove to Tracy since this dentist was referred to me as the best! I have to agree. Dr. Nakamura was very professional but friendly and made me feel very comfortable even though I haven't been to a dentist in a number of years. Everything explained to me in detail. Office staff wonderful and friendly. Look forward to working with them to get my teeth in better shape.

Finding a good dentist who is honest, straight forward and has patients welfare as his prime concern is like finding a needle in the hay stack. Most dentists are like hungry greedy sharks. I interviewed more than six dentists before I met with Doc Edward Mitoma. Not only he is a great dentist, he knows how to take care of his patients. He listens with patience and will attend to your needs.

I have had major work done with him. His staff has been working with him for pretty long and understand him well. Everyone is excellent and they treat you like a person who needs attention! This is NOT normal I tell you. I recommend him and am a repeat customer.

This review is a bit delayed as I am always excited to exit the dentist and not think about my needed maintenance return in a few months. But, I keep thinking I need to put this review to print due to the exceptional services I have received over the last 13 years. As a repeat customer of both Dr. Mitoma & Dr. Nakamura, I can personally attest to their professionalism, friendly and competent staff, knowledge of the newest procedures & available "fixes" for a variety of dental issues that come with time, age and wear and tear.

I would highly recommend visiting their office and putting your mind at ease in the selection of a professional that will calm your dental stress and do right to address your dental needs.

Edward Mitoma and Jesse Nakamura always deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service (a combination not easy to come by.) I have never experienced the dread that often accompanies visits to the dentist with the two of them, and the staff that they have employed are equally as wonderful to encounter. I highly recommend going to them for any and all of your dental needs.

I've been going to this office for many years, and I've always had very positive experiences. I've gotten to know my dental hygienist so well that we always inquire about our kids and how they're doing. They make you feel like you're part of the "family" when you visit. Thank you!

We have been seeing Dr. Nakamura for four years now and have been very satisfied with her work. My teenage daughter has some anxiety issues and on our last visit was terrified to have some small cavities filled. Even though in my opinion my daughter was being extremely difficult, Dr. Nakamura took the time to talk with her and calm her down. After about 10 minutes she was able to relax enough to have her procedure done. To be honest, I don't know many dentists who would have had that much patience! I would highly recommend Dr. Nakamura to anyone looking for a dentist.

This is my second review for Dr. Nakamura. I really appreciate the service that Dr Nakamura and her entire staff provide. Today I got a crown done in a single appointment as she has a machine that makes the crown while you are there. No more temporary! I trust her and feel more at ease than with other dentists I have used previously. I have been a patient for almost 15 years now so I feel like she and her staff are practically part of my family! I always look forward to my next visit.

There are many things that can turn you off when you go to a dentist, you may not bee in the best mood to start with. When you visit M&N office you are received with kindness and treated with the highest level of professionalism, no compromises. I can not imagine something better. Many thanks to all M&N team!

Tried many dentists in town and this hands down the best! The office manager always greets me by name, the Dental Assistants and Hygienists are so friendly and the Dentist is able to explain things to me in a way that I understand. My kids love coming to the Dentist in October because they get to vote for the best decorated pumpkin.

I have been a patient of Dr Nakamura for over a decade. She and her staff treat each patient like a VIP. I do not have dental insurance so value is important to me. She never recommends unnecessary procedures. So if you have been putting off going to dentist here is good place to start.

Ok so. Overall not a big fan of dentists. But you know ya got to go. So if ya need to get a good scratch that GREAT dentist your not going to do better than Jesse and Edward. Very gentle very nice people the hygienists Deb and Kelly do a great job keeping your smile true. They really seem to all like each other and that translates to great care for you. Go see them.

Dr. Nakamura is simply hands down the best. I've been treated by a number of different dentists over the years but Dr. Nakamura's cutting-edge procedures, bedside manner, and warm and welcoming staff, sets her apart from the rest. She and her staff have made me, my wife and two kids feel like a part of their family. There are head phones for kids to watch movies while dental work is being done, and also everyone (adults included) gets a goodie bag of dental supplies after each visit.
