The staff at Roncone Orthodontics feels that the field of orthodontics is not just a job, but a profession. We are all Registered Dental Assistants, except our Appointment Coordinator and financial staff. We pride ourselves on offering the latest techniques and regularly attend continued education courses to better ourselves as well as our patients.
Our orthodontic practice is anchored in providing the finest quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly, enjoyable and caring environment. Dr. Roncone is a world-renowned orthodontist and he lectures throughout the world about new advancements and treatments within the orthodontic profession. We know your time is valuable and want to offer these advanced treatments to the greater San Diego area with less frequent office visits and a shorter overall treatment time.Dr. Roncone is also well versed in the handling of TMJ and the latest in orthodontic procedures to help with jaw discrepancies that cause headaches, pain and sleep apnea.
When you come in for your first appointment, you will use an infrared digital reading of your finger. You will need to scan your finger one time whenever you come in for an appointment. This scan is not a fingerprint. It merely identifies you from amongst our other patients. Once you check in the Doctor and assistants will know you are here because your name will appear on the clinic screen.
At your first visit, you will be greeted by one of our Patient Consultants who will check you in and briefly go over your medical dental history. Upon completion of the initial paperwork, we will take a CBCT scan along with photos. A CBCT or Cone Bean CT provides more information than conventional dental x-rays.

Dr. Roncone and his staff are awesome! They are dedicated, friendly, and very professional in the field of Orthodontics. I will continue to recommend family, friends, and co-workers to them. They truly care about their patients well being; while enhancing your beautifull smile with straight white teeth. I can't wait to see my final result, knowing I had both sides of my jaw dislocated. Dr Roncone understood my pain level and offered ultrasound 2x a week to ease the pain and help unlock my jaw. Dr Roncone Orthodontics Office goes above and beyond. They are the best! Love Dr. Roncone! I've been coming to him since I was a child, and he's always been so kind and caring. You can tell that he really cares about his patients, and he takes the time to get to know you. At Roncone Orthodontics, you're more than just another patient. He's also AMAZING at what he does. My dentist actually commented on how my teeth and said I must have one of the best orthodontists in the world. Plus, his staff is super helpful and sweet! Can't recommend this place enough!

I'm convinced that Dr. Roncone is THE best orthodontist in Southern California. His practice has been around forever. In fact, I was a patient of his twenty years ago and I still come back to his office when I'm back in California visiting family (to have new retainers made). All those years ago, he was one of the first to pioneer clear retainers that keep every tooth in its place and help people like me who grind their teeth.
I still get compliments on my straight teeth and natural smile all these years later, which is a testament to his incredible work. He is a perfectionist, and you won't meet a kinder, more knowledgeable orthodontist. He's the best!

Having two children drastically needing orthodontic work I began researching for a doctor in our area and was very pleased to find Dr. Roncone. He and his staff are extremely educated and make the children feel comfortable with their compassionate and friendly personalities. They know your time is important and do their very best to ensure they are ready for you at your scheduled appointment time. I highly recommend Dr. Roncone - definitely a 5 star operation!

He really made a point to educate us and pointed things out that I hadn't even noticed.
The staff in the office were very nice and tended to all needs, they even put up with my children running around playing with all the large stuffed animals. I recommend Dr. Ron for sure. We live in orange county and will glady make the drive knowing we are in the best hands.
