Since graduation from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. Cerniglia has been practicing as a general dentist in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Cerniglia started his own dental practice in 1989, and has moved to his present location at 3320 Hessmer Ave. in 2106. Dr. Cerniglia prides himself in providing the kind of dentistry he would want for himself and his family.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
The Reception Area is warm and cozy, but with our commitment to getting you back for your appointment "On Time, " we hope you do not have to spend much time here. Treatment Rooms are clean and comfortable. You can watch your favorite TV shows, listen to music or watch videos while your treatment is performed.

I needed to get a cavity filled on a bonded tooth and Dr. Cerniglia used a new laser technique that no one else has and fixed it in a few minutes without any drilling, any shots or any pain or stress! It was unbelievable! He's an amazing dentist always using the latest technology to make the experience of his patients the best possible one!

Dr. Cerniglia' entire staff was very welcoming and professional during the entire visit. Dr. Shannon Doyle performed my procedure and she was excellent. This was honestly one of the most pleasant dental visits I've had in many years! Dr. Cerniglia, and his entire staff were welcoming (this was my first visit) and so friendly. Excellent experience from start to finish! What I thought was a chipped molar, turned out to be a cracked wisdom tooth and he was able to get me in to an Oral Surgeon right away to have it removed.which the referral also turned out to be an amazing experience as well!

Always love going to Dr. Cerniglia's office. The staff is professional, kind, and always makes you feel welcome. He is extremely professional and informative about the dental care and plan that needs to be implemented. He takes great pride in his work and if it is not up to his high standards, he will bring it fix it. Been going for over 10 years now and can confidently smile thanks to him and the team.
