I didn't have an experience like Michelle. I was over charged and when inquired they were defensive. They'll discount your bill based on how you pay (cash, card, insurance), but when I paid by card, they didn't give me the discount. I had someone else call to get an estimate of the price for an initial evaluation without the discount and it was exactly the same as my "discounted" price.
The panorex machine was not working, I rather have had my appointment rescheduled as they said they would take bite wings instead. That meant 18 individual bite wing x-rays. For those of you who have had bite wing x-rays, you know they are not comfortable AT ALL. Now multiply that by 18. In the end, one of the films didn't capture the root, they were supposed to repeat it.
It never got repeated. In the end I paid more than I did in downtown Chicago. My dentist was really kind, but I didn't have a good feeling about this place. I won't be continuing my care there. I think the motto of our town is "the patient comes first" here I felt like "the wallet comes first"

Gentling Dental is my favorite! The staff is all really friendly and happy to help with insurance billing, the offices are clean and up to date and the dental work.well, it doesn't hurt much and seems great! Dr. Melissa is my dentist and she's totally fun. Having nice people around when you have to get your teeth drilled makes life much better.
