Services
Same day emergency service is available to all patients, including new patients, during regular office hours. After hours emergency care is handled on a case-by-case basis with priority given to existing patients or friends and family members of existing patients. Please call our office. If is is after hours, the voice mail system will tell you what you need to do.
It is the mission of Dr. Jeffery D. Stahly D.D.S. and staff to offer and provide superior dentistry along with a comfortable, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to all of our patients. At all times, you can be confident that we strive to provide you with our best services and make treatment affordable.
For regular appointments, call our office at 765-284-2330 or request an appointment using our secure online service. We're looking forward to seeing you! Insurance is not required by our office. However, we do accept all dental insurance plans, included Medicaid. Since every dental insurance plan is a bit different with respect to rules and limitations, we will file your claims electronically and estimate your out of pocket expenses. We are preferred providers for Delta Dental, MetLife, and Anthem. Being a preferred provider means less out-of pocket expense for patients.
Dr. Jeff Stahly has been practicing dentistry on the Westside of Muncie for over a quarter of a century. After graduating from IU School of Dentistry in 1992 and working as an associate dentist for 4 years, Jeff purchased a practice on N. Ridge Rd that has been in business since the 1950s. Charlotte joined Stahly Family Dentistry in 2017.

These people are the best and nicest dentist and nurses that I have EVER been to. I have had very traumatic experiences with previous dentists and they listened to my horror stories and treated me kindly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visits. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a good dentist!

Everyone you meet, from the moment you walk in to when you leave, is just wonderful. I have always had great experiences with the receptionists, hygienists, and Dr. Stahly himself. Everyone is personable but also professional. Best of all, they don't seem to recommend unnecessary work; several times they've pointed out areas of concern, things they want to keep an eye on, but aren't in bad enough shape yet to need work.

I heard good things about this dentist, so I went in to get my teeth checked out. The dentist seemed really nice and caring. He told me that I had gingivitis and that I would need a deep cleaning, which would take 2 hours. I scheduled the appointment, but had to rescedule due to my children being sick and my husband wasn't able to get off of work to watch them (mandatory).
About a week later, I came in to get my cleaning done (by this time the kids pass their sickness on to me). I was coughing, sneezing, and basically throwing up from coughing so hard. I explained all this to the hygienist when I first came in and she was very understanding. She told me if I couldn't go on, that I could rescedule. She checked my blood pressure about 3 times and it was 158/110 (I know this is way to high for them to do any work).
Around the same time I started coughing uncontrollably. I knew then there was no way I was going to let her carry on. Anyways, they told me they would have to ask the dentist if it was okay to rescedule again because I had already resceduled once before. The dentist actually came from the back and came up to me and begin to raise his voice. He told me that I would have to go somewhere else because this was a 2 hour procedure and he wasn't going to lose no more money because of me.
Right then and there and thanked the receptionist and hygienist and walked out. I knew right then and there all Dr. Jeffery D. Stahly cares about is getting money. He didn't care about my health or that my blood pressure was sky high. He actually did me a big favor. So to fore warn everybody, he might seem nice when you first meet him, but money is all he cares about. I'm now looking for a competent dentist to work on my mouth. His eyes were very big and scary as he was talking to me also, lol.

The receptionist are great! The dental hygentist scrapped the glue off my built in retainer during my cleaning & so then few wks.later my teeth moved & then my retainer came out. Dr.then said they weren't responsible for it. He said it was no big deal & they didn't move much to matter. Well, it is when you spend thousands of $$ on braces.

I am not one that "likes" going to the dentist and they made my experience a very pleasant one. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and answered any questions/concerns I had and educated me on why its important for me to get certain things done. Dr. Stahly was very nice and also answered questions/concerns I had. Glad I switched.

Dr. Stahley and staff are just wonderful. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. My husband and I changed dentists and chose Dr. Stahley based on a co-worker's recommendation and we are so glad we did. They were extremely courteous and warm and not pushy like some dentist offices can be. We've found our new "forever home" as far as a dentist goes.
