Dr. DeLayne Lefevre is proud to claim small town roots from Shenandoah High School in Middletown, Indiana. Upon graduation she attended Purdue University where she received a bachelor degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering in 1997. From then she worked as an engineer before deciding to return to school to pursue a career in dentistry.

At our practice, you can expect a dental cleaning that is not only thorough, but also professional. Our general dentist works with every patient to develop and establish a customized dental hygiene plan that incorporates dental exams, x-rays, thorough teeth cleanings, tooth scaling and deep cleaning (if necessary), and use of other diagnostic equipment to prevent and treat conditions that affect your oral health.

I've been coming to this dentist since I can remember and I have always loved going. My insurance changed a few years ago and we had to see some other dentists. We ended up switching back to Yorktown family dentistry because other places just couldn't compete. This is the best for your dental needs.

During the lockdown I was unable to get my tooth extraction done because my appointment came after the ADA's announcement. When I couldn't fine anyone Yorktown dental was available! Dr. Neal and his assistant Holly treated me so well and they even called to check up on me after. Definitely recommend with my insurance he was very affordable as well

I went in for a routine appointment and Dr. Neal noticed a freckle on my check and ask if I was open to him inquiring about it. Long story short Dr. Neal thought it could be melanoma and was adamant that I get it checked although my physician said it was nothing, and Dr. Neal made me promise to do so soon and to call him with the results. Dr Neal was correct and the dermatologist told me three time that my dentist saved my life. Yorktown Family Dentistry really cares about their patients.

I was Dr. Gants patient for 20 plus years. Over the past decade I've become unable to pay for dental care. Therefore my teeth were neglected because I couldn't afford care. I've recently been accepted for Hip2 so I just called my favorite dentist office for care and was turned away due to my ex husbands 8 year old debt. I am APPALLED! I don't have a debt there but Mellisa just refused to see me because my ex husband owes. Yep that's right.
She even looked up the old charges and confirmed they weren't mine. REALLY! Steve what's happening to your practice? Not to mention my parents and kids have been patients too. Plus I have insurance to guarantee payment. WOW. What kind of discrimination is this?

I have had bad experiences in the past, at other dentists. However, Dr. Neal and the staff here have been amazing. I need to have a bit of work done, and have been to a few dentists, all of which seemed to just give me a sales pitch and then it was all $$$$$. I made a last attempt appt here expecting the same and then needing to narrow down the best.
Not the case, by the time my consult was done I was booking appts to proceed. Dr. Neal has an extremely comforting demeanor along with his staff. I didn't feel pressured, or like another person to hit a sales target. Visit 2 was completed yesterday and Dr. Neal called last night to make sure everything was ok. I can't stress enough that they really care about their patients here.

I am a true dentophobe. I avoided dental care at all costs until being forced to get care due to extreme pain. Dr. Neal and Patty (dental technician) understood the anxiety related to my phobia. I was treated in a kind and gentle manner that helped me through the appointment. The appointment was not rushed; I was given the time needed to become as comfortable as possible. I developed cancer and as a result it ruined my teeth. I have always been terrified of dentists. My first visit to Dr. Gant, as I sat in the chair, I was trembling. He came down the hall whistling, walked into the room and put my fears at ease in a matter of minutes. I had nine teeth extracted all in the same visit. Never felt a bit of pain. Recovery was easy. I will never go to anyone else. He is wonderful.

I have always dreaded going into dental offices! Now, I almost enjoy it because the dentist and staff are all such friendly professionals. My dental work has not been cheap, but I have always felt I was helped and knew exactly what the procedures were and the costs ahead of time. Thank you Yorktown Family Dentistry!
