I was referred by a friend and the paraffin wax and hand massage sounded nice. Unfortunately one dentist put in one crown that was so large floss would even break and the other crown so small there was a large gap between the teeth. Because of this and TMJ the other dentist in the office said I would need an invisalign which would correct the miss fitting crowns and help my TMJ so I gave another 3,000 to get started.
Now this was on top of the 2700 already paid for crowns and bite splint. HERE'S the HORROR of my experience with Valley Dental. For 3 months he was shifting my teeth the WRONG DIRECTION! In stead of correcting his mistake he told me to find another dentist and returned my deposit. I'm still out the 2,000 I'll need to pay the new dentist to fix 2 mis-fitting crowns. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
I would suggest a different dentist. I've given them 4 months to fix the financial piece since they won't fix their mistake but now they aren't returning my calls so I decided to share my experience. Had they fixed their mess I would have been happy everyone makes mistakes. Unfortunately they don't back their work so I'll post this hopefully helping you!
I'm not confused, my memory is just fine. You were the one's that told me about the mistake in shifting my teeth the wrong direction. My x-rays with my new dentist is all the proof I need. My suggestion to you is to fix your mistakes so it doesn't end up here:

Called Valley Dental Spa today at about 1pm. Called looking for a second opinion on a broken tooth. They were able to get me right in due to a cancellation. Long story short I visited Aspen Dental this morning and had a horrible feeling. I felt like a pay check to them. I was another dollar sign to them. Dr. Baker was so sweet to me. He and the dental tech made me feel so comfortable and Dr. Baker actually explained why I needed the treatment He recommended.
Unlike Aspen Dental just saying "you need this and it cost this much. okay see you then, bye." Dr. Baker was understanding and I felt no judgment about the condition of my tooth. All I can say is I'm so glad I took a few friends recommendations and called Valley Dental Spa. They actually want the best for you and I didn't feel like I was a dollar sign to them. Everyone in the office was so sweet. Thank you Valley Dental.

The staff at Valley Dental is super friendly, they are GREAT with my kids. My husband and I also go there and everyone is personable. Dr. Baker is FANTASTIC and getting your hands massaged before you get your teeth worked on really takes the edge off and makes the visit so much more relaxing. They are pretty good with staying on time, I never feel like a number and I feel like they are invested in the dental care of my whole family. I enjoy going to Valley Dental Spa.

Doctors are great, however after a few years going here they switched my hygienist without me knowing and gave me some random new girl. She sent the instruments on my crest, was really rough on my gums and was not friendly at all. Wrote an email to speak with the doctors privately and never heard back. I won't be back or recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent service. I've been coming to Dr Valley for over 20 years and it seems that each time they figure out a way to improve their services. They have a warm and welcoming environment. I recommend Dr Valley to all of my friends and coworkers to this Amazing Dental office that does more than just dental work but leaves you with a spectacular smile and a great overall experience.

Our son plays varsity football and had an amazing night last with homecoming and the football game. Wanted to share on how many compliments we get on our boys and their smiles! Last night was another night of complaints. Hard to believe there was a time I was so worried about their smile and to see them now and not only do we as their parents notice but everyone else does too! Great orthodontist and dentist at Valley Dental!

For about 25 years, since Dr. Valley was a " Baby Dentist", our family of four have been patients of his practice. Friendly and professional, quality work and integrity to the max! I once asked Dawn how they managed to find such great staff over the years. She said that it was important to them to hire people with the same values as themselves. Excellent customer service, with your comfort in mind, makes you feel more like a friend than a patient!

I have loved Valley Dental Spa since I started going there in 2013. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the spa-like atmosphere is incredible. Looking forward to COVID-19 being a thing of the past so we may return the various perks (e.g., paraffin hand wax dips, hand and arm massages while having your teeth cleaned, etc.) that make this place so great. Regardless, you will not receive better dental care anywhere!

Everyone in the office is friendly, however they recommend services you don't need such as deep tissue cleaning. In reading other reviews I see you're not alone. They will also tell you the procedure is covered later to find out it's not. Each time I left the office, I asked if my bill was paid in full, despite saying it was, there was always an unpaid previous balance at my next visit.

Valley Dental Spa is unique for many reasons. The staff is very nice. Dr Baker has done several procedures for me that were practically pain free. The main reason I wanted to post was to tell Dr. Baker's assistant Marti how much I appreciate her work. She went above and beyond to make sure that each cap fit perfectly. She has a kind, professional attitude which helps a lot when I'm under stress. Also, where else can you get your hands waxed and your arms massaged while in the chair? and all for the price of admission. Vivian is lovely. I enjoyed my experience with Connie as well. I'm from New York and moved here 3 years ago. I'm so glad that my daughter recommended Valley Dental Spa.

I too had a good experience with most of the staff here. They were all very friendly and the two massage therapists are an extra treat. However, I too felt they had tried to up charge me on several services and that's why I left after a couple of years. I had a tooth, that already had a filling, that showed another small spot on xray a year later.
The hygienist said it must be a softer tooth but the spot is so small she almost missed it. She recommended this $20 prescription toothpaste to use to reverse and help harden it. Then the dentist came in, took one quick look at it, and said we were going to 'cap' it. What? It's so small but you want to go that route? $700.really? I went somewhere else and was told it wasn't necessary, to use the toothpaste, and if there was pain I could have another small filling. ( which by the way there still is no pain ) Secondly, they told me time and time again that I needed a bite splint for my TMJ and I knew my insurance wouldn't cover it and they said they would and to just order it. NOPE. I was right. Good thing I checked again before they went ahead, ordered, and I owed another $500.

I went here for a year (2x cleanings), then had to move across the US. Everyone is friendly as hell here (hence the three stars). I loved the extra features. Unfortunately at the end of the day, all was not well. I got dinged $200 after asking them many many times if a procedure would be covered by my insurance. It wasn't. They apparently tried to get it covered by the insurance a few times after I was gone but the proof was rejected saying there was no precedent for covering the procedure (basically the dentist made up false reason) They told me both times I was there that I needed to get my wisdom teeth out.
I went to my new dentist and they told me very directly that anyone who told me to get them out was full of it, that my teeth were just fine and not causing any problems. If there's one thing I can't stand about dentists it's when they try to upsell you and try to get you to do things (often painful, unnecessary procedures) that just don't make sense and will end up costing you an arm and a leg. It seems this dentist is definitely guilty of this.
