After working the last 4 years on the west side of Lansing, Dr. Kim, a general dentist of 15 years, has established herself as a Platinum Plus Provider of Invisalign in Michigan. Her passion is changing lives with healthy smiles and smile transformations. Her interests include Cosmetic Dentistry, Anterior Esthetics, Implant Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Orthodontics utilizing Clear Aligners (Certified Invisalign Provider) and Functional Occlusion and Smile Design using conservative, predictable dentistry that lasts.

When you visit your general dentist regularly, you protect yourself from tooth loss, toothaches, and expensive procedures. Our general dentistry services are designed to help you maintain your natural teeth, gums, and jawbone for as long as possible.
Your loss of a single tooth can have major impact on your overall oral health and appearance. Although we will use every measure to prevent tooth loss, there are still some occasions when a tooth needs to be removed. We may suggest extracting a tooth after careful examination with accompanying x-ray.
If you have a tooth that requires a filling, we will first remove the decayed tooth material, clean the affected area, and then fill the cleaned-out cavity with a filling material. This filling will help prevent further decay by closing off any cracks or spaces where bacteria might enter. You have a choice of tooth filling materials.

Great place, I've only been a patient for a year but it's been great change from my old office. Dr. Kim is wonderful and kind and the best part; Dr. Kim is a great for those who have anxiety around at the dentist. I never feel rushed or like a number there, the office returns calls, they ask how my day was, know my name, and are super attentive and communicative. It's the Cheers of dentist offices in Lansing!

The staff here is outstanding. I have always been terrified of the dentist and they made me feel comfortable and less scared/stressed. They shared every step they were taking and asked me if I was doing okay throughout the process. They worked with me to schedule upcoming appointments that best fit my schedule. Overall great experience here!

I was supposed to have an appointment here this past Wednesday. I unexpectedly crashed my car on Monday and therefore completely forgot about my appointment. I received a call on Tuesday while I was at work. I answered regardless and the reception asked if I was still coming to the appointment. I preceded to explain my situation and that I was at work and asked when the latest was I could call to either confirm or cancel.
The receptionist immediately got attitude with me. She said, "I need to know now. This is the second time you've canceled and the hygienist opened her schedule for you to come in." I do acknowledge that this is the second time I canceled, albeit I had unforeseen circumstances the first time too, but I was not aware that the hygienists opened her schedule for me.
It was kind but she was under no obligation to do that. The receptionist preceded to say something along the lines of "I know you got in a car accident but it can screw the hygienist over you cancel later or tomorrow morning." I told her I completely understood and canceled the appointment to not do that, but I was very put off by the way I was spoken to and the attitude. It was beyond unwarranted. I will not be rescheduling and will go elsewhere to other dentists offices that are more caring. There are plenty.

I have been a patient here for almost 4 years. I have never been to dental/medical office with friendlier employees. On my most recent visit for a crown I was immediately greeted by Linda with her friendly energetic "Hello!". She promptly checked me in and within 5 minutes I was already back in a chair. Dr. Kim and her assistant Nicole were excellent.
No one wants their teeth grinded but Dr. Kim and Nicole were great making sure I was comfortable the entire time. They have always done a great job explaining the procedure and working with me and my insurance for any treatment plans that I may need.

They have been my dentist since 08'. They were the first office I came to in the states, my first filling, xrays, and cleaning were here. Now I've decided to go through Invisalign due to the education of the team and the tech that they have now. My teeth are already pretty straight, but the benefits out weigh what is currently going on. I'm happy that Michelle has been at this office for so long and I can trust her word for financing, treatment, etc. I know that she will only care for me like she would her own family. I'm so thankful that I found such a great office as soon as I got here!

DO NOT GET YOUR WORK DONE HERE. I'd sooner take a pair of pliers to my own teeth than set foot in this place again. This practice doesn't care about their patients and they admit they talk about people negatively when they leave. If you want a practice to care or be convenient, look elsewhere. Michelle, Linda and Dr. Kim are all inconsiderate people who don't care to help or be kind to people.
They are rude and insulting without provocation. They withhold services and cancel appointments without notice. They treat patients like GARBAGE. do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I had been searching online for a new dentist and had narrowed it down to 3. Then my daughter told me of her new dentist. They were one of the three I had chosen. I grilled her. Are they clean, do they wear masks, are they professional, what dental schools did they go to? How arrogant am l?! I decided to make an appointment. The night before my call for an appointment, I broke a tooth.
I called them and got an appointment the next morning, and we made a plan. They did the prep the same day and gave me appointment to have the permanent crown placed. Just as my daughter said they are incredibly pleasant, helpful, caring, and beyond convenient. I feel so fortunate to have found such wonderful group of dentists and staff!

The teeth cleaning was its usual superb self. However. Without asking my permission nor telling me why, the technician started probing the lymph nodes in my neck. I was so startled I didn't react much. But I was upset. When I go to the dentist, I expect that my mouth and teeth will be the center of attention. Not my neck and lymph nodes. Even when I had breast cancer, the doctors involved asked before they touched me. I expect the same here, especially since there was no discussion prior to the examination to explain why it needed to be done.
