Malwin Family Dentistry is a family owned and operated dental practice located in downtown Venice, FL, and serve the greater Venice area, including Englewood, North Port, Sarasota, Wellen Park, and North Venice. We have been providing top quality and professional dental care for over 60 years. For the convenience of our patients, we offer a private parking lot.
Dr. Jarl E. Malwin, the senior partner, started his solo practice in 1965, and has been at the same location ever since. Dr. Inger Malwin-Dabney, his daughter, joined the practice in 1990.

Dr. Inger Malwin-Dabney was born and raised in beautiful Venice, Florida. She is the youngest of four, and the only girl. Her three other brothers have all sought careers in the dental field, one of whom she is fortunate to work with. Inger graduated from Venice High School in 1982. She went on to undergrad training at St. Petersburg College, where she received her dental hygiene degree.

I have been going to Dr Malwin for a few years and they are by far the best in Venice. I like many other poeple are not fond of dentists from (Horrible Experiences in the past ) but Dr Malwin and her assistant Robin are a great team and they are very best. Didn't know Robin was from the Burg, and thats where I grew up as well. Thanks again its very nice to find great service in Venice.

My husband and I have been to many dental practices in the area and have had good and bad experiences. But we have found loyalty for over 5 years at Malwin & Malwin. Dr. Inger Malwin does not miss a speck on a single tooth when it comes to my cavities. She is a perfectionist and my smile is always complimented because of her expertise and care. The hygienist always makes my teeth feel like they had a spring cleaning on my twice a year cleanings.
The office is very friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness and safety is a top priority from entrance to chair, from floor to implements visible to the eye. This office also exemplifies Teamwork, which is something I look for and admire. Bonus is they also accept my insurance. In conclusion I highly recommend and love my smile because of their handy work.

I have been going to Dr. Malwin for a couple of years, and am grateful that we found such a caring, thorough professional. I didn't really think about COVID risk when I went in for my cleaning this week, but once there, I observed the procedures that were in place and any concerns were instantly put to rest. I'm happy to say that every visit to my dentist is a pleasant experience.

I was referred to this dentist by a business associate and friend who has lived in Florida for 40 years. I was recently traveling frequently to Southwest Florida. When these issues about "cyber attacks" came up, I became concerned and investigated the recent negative reviews myself. I found that 3 of the people who left the worst reviews, had no photo, and had actually only contributed 1 review in total and that was for my dentist in Venice.
Very disappointing to see people do this sort of thing. I hope Google takes these down soon as it seems obvious, that in at least 3 cases, these accounts were set up specifically to review Malwin & Malwin Family Dentistry. Sorry Doctors. I am sure people can see through all of this. Have a great day.

I just moved from NJ and loved my old dentist. I have had some horrific experience with unscrupulous dentists in the past so I was very nervous to find another. I stumbled upon Dr. Malwain as she is down the street from me and I have been there a few times and it was painless! The staff is nice and the anesthesia needle doesn't leave me in pain for weeks. AND my insurance paid the whole bill thanks to Cathy submitting my paperwork.it is my pleasure to add to your 5star review!

Being new to an area it is always difficult to find good primary doctors, dentist, etc. I googled dentist and Dr. Malwin came up with a 5 Star rating. I called and made an appointment. From the first phone call to my latest visit I have been nothing but impressed. Dr. Malwin and every staff member have been awesome, friendly, professional. I was concerned when I first visited because I didn't want a dentist that would recommend unnecessary work and Dr. Malwin did not. She is conservative and doesn't push for any dental work that isn't necessary. I highly recommend this office. Thanks, Debi

Love Love Love Malwin & Malwin Family Dentistry. You are treated like family the minute you walk through the door. Kind, loving and gentle dentist. Favorite part is Inger only does what you truly need worked on. She doesn't try and sell you services you do not need as, other dentists I have been to try and do. Highly recommended, 5 stars in our families book! Thank you for all the years of wonderful care and many more to come!

I highly recommend Dr. Malwin. My family has been going to Dr. Malwin for more than 10 years. When I first arrived in Venice I tried several different dental practices but was dissatisfied with them all for one reason or another. Some just wanted to sell a lot of cosmetic work, some were not friendly, some just did not listen to my concerns or take the time to answer my questions.
Then I found Malwin & Malwin. At my initial appointment we talked about my concerns and came up with a treatment plan to address want I wanted. Some suggestions were made for to consider but there was no pressure to do more than what I was comfortable with doing. The work that has been done has all been absolutely painless. The quality of the work is great and I have never had to have anything redone in over 10 years.
Over time I decided to move forward with crowns and I am very pleased with the quality, the process, and the price. I have since recommended Dr. Malwin to my wife and sister who both became patients of Dr. Malwin. Whenever anyone asks me if I know a good dentist in the area I always recommend Dr. Malwin.
