Dr. Donald Brevard Bedford

I should start by stating that I really don't enjoy going to the dentist, lol. It's one of my least favorite things in the world, to be honest. When I moved to Canyon Lake though, I had to find a new dental clinic and decided to give this place a try. From start to finish, it was nothing but a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the office is always clean and well kept, and Dr. Bedford is absolutely wonderful!

Unlike any other dentist I have ever had, Dr. Bedford made me feel at ease, which is very rare for me during any dental procedure. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and their needs. He even talks you through what he's doing, so nothing freaks you out or makes you uneasy. I feel like I'm always getting the best care here, and compared to every other dental clinic I've been to, it's just leaps and bounds better. If I were to ever move again, I would legitimately drive well out of my way just to get all of my dental work done here. No joke. I'd give this clinic 6 stars, if I could!

My semi-annual visit went well. The staff is friendly and efficient. My appointment started ahead of schedule with the dental hygienist, who did a thorough cleaning. Dr. Herring's examination, explanation and recommendations were easy to understand and follow. I have recommended other friends to Dr. Herring and they have been very satisfied with her work.

My hygenist, Amanda, and my dentist, Dr Tammy are wonderful. Along with the friendly and helpful office staff this is the complete package for superior dental care. Love everyone is still wearing their masks too!

The absolutely best dentist and staff I have encountered in more than sixty years. The entire staff consist of dedicated professionals who have your comfort and care uppermost. Never have I experienced any pain nor after effects from my visit there. The staff treats each and every patient like family. I whole heatedly recommend BEDFORD FAMILY DENTISTRY for all your dental needs.

I've been coming to see Amanda and Dr. Herring for years. I used to dread going to the dentist after several bad experiences. At one point I hadn't been in 10 years. When I went to Dr. Herring's office for the first time, they did everything they could to make me comfortable. I've had a few different things to take care of over the years and my experience is ALWAYS good.

I feel comfortable and confident in my care. I haven't missed or been late to have a cleaning since. Going to see Amanda is like going to catch up with a friend twice a year. I enjoy our visits! When Dr. Herring joind Dr. Bedford's office, absolutely nothing changed except location. The front staff and Dr. Bedford have been so nice and welcoming just like the staff was at Dr. Herring's office.

I wasn't sure what to expect after being a patient with Dr. Herring for so long but there was no need for concern. Ther staff at the office is so friendly. just expanded to a larger group!

The entire staff is extremely competent and accommodating. The dental hygienist performed expertly and painlessly. Dr. Brev and the office staff took the time to thoroughly explain all possible treatment and payment options and to answer all my questions.

I used to LOATHE going to the dentist. More than that, like a true fear. Which as you can imagine led to years of not going and finally needed to go due to pain. Dr. Tami made me so comfortable and drafted up a treatment plan that aligned with my finances and I'm happy to say that I only have one filling left on my treatment plan and I'm no longer afraid of going to the dentist! Dr. Tami and her team are the best! So sweet, and genuine. And go out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable and educated on everything that they do. For me, this is something you cannot put a price on.

Dr. Bedford and his team are AMAZING! My very first point of contact was Shelly at the front desk and she was so sweet. She's also very efficient - she had processed my insurance over the phone so I didn't have to wait when I arrived at the office. They use Windows tablets to get you checked in and collect your medical history, so that's nice. Typically, the dentist makes me extremely nervous, and when Angel took me to the exam room, my blood pressure and heart rate spiked from my anxiety. Seeing that, I got even more nervous. Angel immediately began talking to me about work and home and before I knew it, I forgot about my anxiety and my blood pressure returned to normal.

During my teeth cleaning, Angel stayed close by and kept talking to me, keeping the mood very light and calm. Doris was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and she was so gentle. She took her time to do the cleaning the right way without causing too much pain or discomfort. My experience at Bedford Family Dentistry was awesome and I will definitely be returning.

Since we moved to New Braunfels my husband and I have only gone to Bedford Family Dentistry. We never wait more than 3-4 minutes to be seen and they take sufficient time to answer any/all questions we have. From the moment I step in the door until I leave I only see happy, smiling faces. The doctors and staff are professional yet friendly, with customer service being a top priority.

I must also mention there's always good music playing. After an appointment, everyone has the opportunity to enter their name for a gift drawing---now that's above and beyond what anyone would expect when visiting a dentist! We regularly recommend them when we know someone is looking for a good dentist. It is dental cleaning & treatment par excellence, always exceeding expectation.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bedford now for about 3 years. My experiences have all been excellent. From routine cleanings to root canals and crowns, everything has been with great care and consideration. Appointments are always on time, and I get a reminder call ahead of time. The staff is great and the new office is a thing of beauty. Megan does an awesome job! I would recommend Bedford Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a long term family dentist.
