We've been patients for years and will remain so. Friendly and professional staff that make you feel completely welcome and appreciated. When you look forward to dentist visits you know it's a great place! :) UPDATE: We had another family visit yesterday and as usual it was a great experience. There was another family there with young kids and Dr. Casey had them giggling the entire time - even the fussy younger child ended up laughing - that kind of friendliness makes for a much easier exam / cleaning and as parents we know that is a huge help. UPDATE 2: Had a minor issue and called to let them know for the next scheduled visit in March - they strongly encouraged me to stop by today to make sure it was not anything serious and not only took care of it (I'd chipped an old filling) they found a potential cavity developing and took care of that too. Top notch care, as always.

Whole staff are great. They are very professional are friendly. I have been going to Dr Casey office over 15 years for yearly deep cleaning, fillings and watch out the implants which she installed crowns for me at my very begin visiting (15 years ago). My teeth are maintained very well by Dr Casey. Three implants/crowns were done at my first visiting period.
Over 15 years, only few tiny fillings further are needed. Before visiting Dr Casey, my teeth needed three implants/crowns with 15 years younger at that time. Two and half years ago, during yearly dental clean, Dr Casey identified my back bottom teeth yellow staint, it was Dr Casey who first suggested me to visit my GA specialist. I was lazy to make an appointment with GA.
She reminded me again half year late. Finally, after I got covid-19 vaccinated in this June, I visited GA and got intensive testing at my stomach and colon, which my dentist Casey suggested. Three out of five polys are very active and dangerous style polys, named as pre-cancer, removed during colonoscopy. It is strongly suggested by my dentist Casey to visit GA, otherwise, I definite lazy/delay to visit GA, the pre-cancer going to develop cancer (one polys already glow to 16mm). Really appreciate Dr Casey and whole staff in her office!

I've been going to Dr. Casey for as long as I've lived in Sunnyvale! She is a great dentist - great work and great conversation. She and her staff are highly professional and they have safe COVID protocols. She was my daughter's dentist also and she's wonderful with kids. I highly recommend Diane Casey

Diane is what I would consider to be the best dentist in the Bay Area. I've been a patient of Diane's for many years, and I'm a problem child in the dental department. She's always addressed my problems in the best possible way and makes me laugh every time I'm there. She has a fascinating personality, both warm and professional, and kind-hearted. And she knows her stuff, always learning, chairing dental orgs, etc. I will be staying with Diane forever.

We had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Casey again on June 5, 2020! We are happy to report that the office is up and running and she has taken immense strides to make us all feel comfortable during this crazy time. She has gone above and beyond in sanitizing and following all the health protocols that have been put in place. Dr. Casey has been our family's dentist since we moved to California, and we cannot say enough about her and her outstanding staff. Thank you for all that you do for us Dr. Casey and Friends!

The atmosphere at Dr. Casey's is very congenial. The people who work there seem to enjoy the workplace and their work. And the Dental technicians do through, careful work. I had some issues after I got my hip replacements, and Dr. Casey worked with me so I would not get an infection. I highly recommend Dr. Casey and her staff.

Dr Casey is an excellent dentist. I have been going to see her for years now, and am always impressed by both the depth of her knowledge and her positive "bedside manner" (sometimes going to see the dentist is not my favorite thing, but Dr Casey and her staff always manage to make it less stressful). The header for 5 starts is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and that is just about right for Dr Casey.

Dr. Casey has been our family dentist since last year. We are very pleased with her services, and are glad that we found her. Her office is located close to where we live in Sunnyvale (even if it wasn't close, we'd still travel to see her). She is always pleasant and calm, both with adults and kids. Our 11-year-old is not scared about seeing the dentist at all; he enjoys talking to Dr. Casey and having her take care of his teeth and getting his goody bag at the end of the visit.
She is attentive and thorough and doesn't rush us out the door. Last but definitely not the least, we feel that we can trust her care and her recommendations, and feel that she wouldn't recommend things we don't need just to make more money. We are planning to keep coming back.

I can't even express my appreciation for Dr. Casey.which she may not always feel as I try to get out of the door as soon as possible. As a child I always had a hard time getting numb and I was terrified as a child of going to to dentist (soft teeth, etc, cavity prone), that I was in for torture, and I mean that. I still remember shaking, crying begging for my mother, unable to express how I was feeling.
I would throw out the appointment reminders before she checked the mail, delete the messages of dental reminders until my mom finally had to have them call her own office. I eventually left my "child" dentist and did the usual thing, went to the dentist my mother sees. He would give me the shot of Novocaine would shake, cry, convulse in pain and tell him I could feel it all.
He would give me more shots, and then continue, and when I begged him to stop he said I've given you too much already and we need to get this done. I thought maybe my previus fears were from before, and it was my adrenaline causing the shots to not work. He offered gas, but by this point my phobia was so bad, I would vomit immediately when it was out on.
The ONLY thing that got me through those years was this wonderful assistant who knew me as one of her sons friends. The last syraw was when my mom called in saying I was on my way (18 at the time) and I was dealing with major anxiety. Afterwards the guy at the front laughed at me, and offered me a toy. I never went back after that, I felt humiliated.
After this is I went 10 years without dental care. I just couldn't imagine the pain anymore. The pain in my mouth constantly was better than being in that chair. I tried self help groups, I tried message boards. I flew to Hawaii in desperate need for a root canal, but finally the root died, and I felt some relief. Of course never mentioning any pain, for the phobia I now had.
The final straw came at a Christmas party for work, that same tooth, hurt so bad, I went to thr bathroom and did jumping jacks to have blood rush to my face, which gave me some relief, along with putting my head down to have the blood rush to my face. This was my lowest point. When you have such a bad phobia, you lose perspective. Dr. Casey was recommended to me by a friend.
I reluctantly went to her office, after 10 years of avoiding this at all costs. (Literally crying reading this). her office was welcoming.it didn't have that "dentist" smell (I can smell that off people hours after they leave their appointment). I explained my situation, and she sat and listened, and changed my life. She explained bone density, and how some people need more time to get numb, and that it shouldn't hurt, and if it does, we can stop. I've been seeing her a few years now, she explains what she does which helps me feel more in control.
I had sinus surgery as a kid, and never breathe naturally through my nose, and she is so patient about how often I get in my own way. I still see a therapist to help, I try to make follow ups before I leave, I am better about not obsessing over the day. Thank you Dr. Casey, for never judging me, or putting me down, or not listening, you saved my life. Now if I could just make sure you never ever retire;)

Had a nasty fall at home and called Dr Casey on her day off to ask for help. An hour later I'm In her chair and a couple of hours after that I have perfect looking repairs to my chipped teeth. She's always cheerful, knows (and explains) everything about dental health and she treats our boys like gold. We've been her patients for years and will remain so as long as she'll have us.

Dr. Diane Casey and her staff are phenomenal! I have been a "career" dental patient, having nearly every milk tooth filled in childhood. I am now challenged with my adult teeth, old fill ins and gum recession. Dr. Diane recently replaced a fragmented tooth with multiple fillings, with a "cap". The procedure was comfortable and the crown matches beautifully!
She is not just a Technical Dentist, she is an artist too! Additionally, I was overdue for Dental Planing, a deep scale cleaning for those of us with gum recession challenges. Dental Hygienist Laura was a true delight. She made a seemingly rough procedure a breeze. If you are looking for professionals that take pride in their work, and love the art of the smile, this is the place for you!

Noelle, sorry to read about your bad experience. My family had been going to her for 7 years before moving away. First, she is a straight talking person, seriousness covered with humor; very personable, and you will either like it a lot or find it to be "gruff." I found her after a gold inlay got loose and I needed it put back on. Her office was closed but she took me, and we've been going to her since.
She is a general dentist, in an insurance network, which means the reimbursement rates are not overly generous. I think she make the money on non-insurance procedures like cosmetic. In my family's 7 years, she seems to refer the "tough stuff" to specialists -- root canals, definitely implants as it is very exact, gum disease. For normal procedures, she did fillings, ceramic crowns after a specialist did a root canal or implant; her hygienists do teeth cleaning.
On the first visit, I was asked to pay my estimated portion before waiting for the EOB. In subsequent visits, I was billed after insurance paid. I wonder if patient prepayment is routine on the first visit as a crdit check. Perhaps, Noelle objected to going through this.

I went to Dr. Casey in desperation after our previous dentist made a grave mistake on a prescription for my young daughter, who has one severely damaged tooth and also a botched filling. While over the phone I was impressed with the fact that she took the time to speak to me about the issue herself and understand what we needed, my hopes quickly crumbled during our initial visit. Dr. Casey's manner was extremely gruff and we spent more than two hours at her office for an exam.
After getting a recommendation for care I decided to continue treatment for my daughter there, since I was concerned about getting her oral issues resolved as quickly as possible. After having one cavity filled a third appointment was made to get the other filling corrected before addressing the issue of the damaged tooth. I was unable to bring my daughter to the office visit due to a heavy work schedule and one of my brothers rearranged his schedule and drove 40 minutes in order to help me out.
When he arrived, he was asked to pay my bill for me for the previous visit, although the amount that my insurance did not cover was only $65. He complied, but I was offended. I called the office manager whose attitude made it clear that she was more concerned with getting us 'off the books' than in creating a long-term relationship with my family.
The previous visit was last week! We had planned to use Dr. Casey for all of our dental needs, but now I will never walk in their door. Beware of dentists who are more concerned with their bottom-line than your health and well being!
