Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Just had an excellent cleaning and checkup with Dr. Macgillivray. Everyone was friendly, the office was clean, and covid protocols were followed. It had been 2 years since I was at a dentist (due to covid, moving out of state, and procrasination) and I was quite worried about the appointment. But my teeth looked good overall and I am now so relieved to be back on track with a nice new dentist and hygienist!

Dr. MacGillivray and his staff make a dentist appointment as pleasant as one can be. My dental work and regular cleanings are done with professionalism and care, and the outcomes have been excellent (solid crowns and fillings, great preventative care). They do all of this with friendliness and positive attitudes! Highly recommend.

Excellent staff.friendly, knowledgeable, skillful. Rebecca cleaned and polished my teeth, she was excellent. It was my first visit to their office (and to see any dentist) for ten years. I was anxious about the visit, but it was perhaps the best dental visit I've ever had. I came away with a clean healthy set of teeth and gums and peace of mind. Dr. Macgillivray was only needed for a short time since there were no problems or procedures needing done, and he was professional and kind. I will now go back on a regular basis. :-)
