I've used Dr. Royal for many years and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Dr. Paul Effinger (his replacement) is off to a good start in terms of carrying on that tradition. I encountered an issue the other day with one of his receptionists and it was brought to his attention. He immediately called me to apologize and discuss what had happened. He went above and beyond to resolve the matter and ensure this never happens again. Kudos to him for the action he took, which speaks volumes.

Dr. Effinger is the best dentist I've ever had. I'm not going anywhere else.

This is only my experience and therefore others may have had better experiences here. I wish them continued positive dental care. I will seek elsewhere for my family and I. My teeth feel worse than they did prior to getting the fillings recommended based on an exam performed by Dr. Trivedi. Prior to the fillings procedure, they felt and appeared fine to me.

But since I'm not a dentist, I trusted Dr. Trivedi despite my expressed reluctance to drill into what I thought to be perfectly good teeth. To his credit, one area was proven to be as assessed as seen in my X-ray, I cannot say with confidence the other teeth needed refillings (removed old fillings and refilled). But again, I'm not a dentist. I only know how my teeth feel post procedure.

Now all of my teeth that were worked on have been so sensitive ever since the procedure. This was well over a month ago (end of June). If I recall correctly, he explained to me that if it was sensitive following the fillings procedure, he would likely have to do a root canal. No thanks. Not only will I not return to Alliance, but none of my family will.

My teeth feel worse than it did prior to my fillings procedure. This is a first for me after lifelong experiences at any dental visits at several practices over the years (mostly military assignments). Now I will have to search for another dentist that can hopefully correct this issue. I'm regretful that I didn't follow my gut to not have the fillings done. But I didn't know any better as I trusted the presumed educated and trained professionals for my dental care. Now I regret the whole ordeal.

Gina is the best hygienist I've ever had! Both she and Dr. Effinger are very kind and friendly. The office is nicely decorated and clean. I felt comfortable and well taken care of!

Carmen is an excellent hygienist! She has a great personality and makes getting your teeth cleaned a comfortable and reassuring experience! Her knowledge and caring are an added bonus! Great experience! Highly recommended!

Great experience as always! Have been going here literally for 10 or more years. Dr. Royal has left this place in great hands! Definitely recommend for you and your family's needs.

This practice has cancelled three separate appointments for my family this month, each time saying that no hygienist is available for the appointment time made six months in advance. The former dentist retired recently and the new management appears to be ill-equipped. After many years, we are looking for a new dentist. (If someone at the practice reads this, please stop sending me emails saying I'm overdue for the appointment you cancelled, from a no-reply email address. Thank you.)

Gina was terrific today cleaning my teeth! I had staining from an antiseptic mouthwash and she removed it all! I feel like brand new. Alliance is number 1 to me!

Dr. Royal went on to brighter things, and left the office in radiant hands! Went and got my cleaning today! it felt so good. The new doctor seems to fit in great with the still present and professional staff. The energy in the office was warm, comforting and inviting. Making my "spa day" even better. Even though some issues were discovered, I am just so happy with my results! (Yes I love going to the dentist. And because of this fact, my opinion should be valued highly)

Going to a new doctor of any kind can make you nervous. My visit to Dr. Effinger's office for the first time was no different. By the time I had new X-rays, my teeth cleaned and polished, and a wonderful fluoride solution to swish around, the nervousness was gone. I returned that afternoon for some amalgamation and voila I was finished until my next scheduled appointment six months from now.

Best experience I have ever had with a dentist office, the staff who work there are outstanding and super kind. They completely destroy the competition in the area because they're that good no wait time at all checked in walked to the back started doing my impression, reviewed my file on my teeth put a cap on my implant. I talk to both Dr. Effinger and his awesome assistant Jackie about further procedures I should look forward to doing next time I'm in town because I fly from Las Vegas to Colorado Springs to get my work done because I trust them that much and they're always willing to go above and beyond for someone because they truly do care what you want your smile to look like and they always make it happen will continue to go out of my way to see amazing people

Not the fancy corporate type place, just a bunch of folks who really care about you and as far as I can tell, love God. Never rushed, always thorough, gentle, caring. If only you married your dentist.

Two times now I have had to have emergency procedures completed by this office the first one was because another dentist refused to finish his work and today I was seen after breaking a tooth on Monday. Did a simple fix until my new dental benefits kick in! Thank you Dr. Royal for working with me.

We have been going to Dr. Royal for almost 10 years. He has provided us with the best dental care. He is always willing to go beyond the call of duty. His staff is always friendly and pleasant. Very well organized office and practice. Highly recommend Alliance Family Dentistry.

Dr Royal and his staff are fabulous! I love knowing that Dr Royal will do everything possible to be non-invasive. He has been very conservative in replacing fillings with crowns. In fact, I had a previous dentist who wanted to replace two of my old fillings with crowns. That was four years ago, and so far, with Dr Royal, I have had no crowns! I just left his office and he fixed my chipped filling in 10-15 min.

He said we will watch it and may have to crown it later, but hopefully will last another ten years. I'm all for that! Most dentists are all about money, not Alliance Family Dentistry! The staff are extremely efficient and very friendly. That's just the icing on the cake.

This place had a nice clean inviting environment, great staff, and short wait times for appointments. I was able to be seen within days of calling in. The hygienist was very nice and informative and so was the doctor. I'll definitely keep coming back to this place as long as I live in the springs.

This office is very unorganized, canceling appointments without telling the patients, claiming they sent bills and made calls that they didn't. Once I tried to address the management about the problem, who is Dr. John, they could not actually listen to me, all I got was excuses explaining how everything was somehow my fault. They actually locked me out because they didn't want to discuss this once I had a new dental plan elsewhere, Dr. Royal is a rather good dentist but a coward when it comes to customer confrontation and will simply drop you. I wouldn't recommended going to this office, with their lack of professionalism.

We love coming to Dr Royal and his team! They help us smile better after our visits! We like their attention to details and care. Dr Royal takes time to explain what is going on and what needs to be done and why. A colleague recommended their practice and we've been coming back regularly for the past two years now. I highly recommend Dr Royal and his practice.

The team at Alliance gave me one of the most friendly and professional dental experiences I've had in almost 30 years of owning a set of teeth. Dr Royal was very friendly, obviously experienced, and there is no doubt in my mind that he genuinely cares about his patients. I will definitely plan on coming back in the future.

I have been going to Dr. Royal for many years now and I have to say he is a wonderful dentist and his staff are EXCELLENT. I highly recommend them. My son who has had several unfavorable experiences with dentist in the past even highly recommends Dr. Royal (this is a true vote of confidence)!

Open up and say ahhhmazing. I have a slight phobia of dentists and haven't been going regularly. This was my first time here. Wow the staff were very kind and gentle. They held my big baby hand, walked me through every step. They were very thorough. Would definitely recommend!
