Prior to seeing Dr. Stanton, I never had a cavity, root canal or crown. I had perfect teeth. After I started going here, all of a sudden I had cavity after cavity and eventually two root canals and two crowns. Fast forward to many years later. I moved home to WI and started seeing a new dentist. I complained for a couple years that something just didn't feel right in the area I had 1 of my root canals.

Finally a dentist suspected that I might have an infection in my root canal. This led me to being referred to an Endodontist. What was discovered here is that Dr. Stanton missed filling in one of my roots completely. He only filled in 3 of the 4 so for TEN YEARS I was brewing an infection! That is so dangerous for my health overall! Root Canals and crowns cost a pretty penny to get done and now here I am again getting it fixed by a specialist $$$.

I should also mention that since I stopped going here that I have had ZERO cavities, ZERO root canals and ZERO crowns. Interesting huh?! I want to also mention that I have a semi-gummy smile which I've had all my life. It is me; I know no different. The first time meeting him he mentioned that there was a procedure that could be done to fix it. I declined and told him thanks for letting me know but I'm fine with my smile. EVERY appointment thereafter he talked about my gummy smile and how to fix it.

I have so many reasons to suspect that he is a crooked dentist just out to make money. My advice to you, if you find yourself going down a similar path, is to get a second opinion and I'd for sure get my root canal done somewhere else, if you actually need one.

I had another wonderful visit for my routine dental cleaning today. I appreciated how gentle my hygienist (Maggie) was during the cleaning. She made sure to check in and make sure I was comfortable throughout the process.as a more anxious patient I really appreciated that! She was also very knowledgable and informative. Also, thank you to Dr. (Joseph) Opack for walking me through my treatment plan. A wonderful team.see you in 6 months!

The were able to get me in for an emergency appt very quickly with the pain I had. Everyone of the staff I met that day were all great- not a fan of dentists but I definitely found a new caring provider

We've been customers here for three generations of our family. Absolutely family now and great to have such a excellent team of professionals to rely on for our dental health.

Friendliest dental practice I've ever been too! I learned in much detail about my teeth and exactly what I needed to do to keep up with them. I even learned new things about them I didn't know before. From start to finish at my appointment it went so smooth and easy. Highly recommend if you are new to the area and are looking for a place to make an appointment.

Thank you for taking such good care of our little one. She was a little scared to go, but afterward she said it was fun. Genuinely nice people on staff. Appreciate your good work and the approach.

Saint Paul Family Dentistry is a beautiful place the people that work there is friendly the dentist is a perfectionist he wants everything right I love that guy he's alright and the staff all of them our friendly full of smiles

I would never ever in a million years recommend this dentistry to anyone on this earth especially to POCs. First of all, rather than speaking to the dentist I first had a consultation with Toni the hygienist who was rude from the beginning. When I explained about my crack tooth she looked at it and said its fine. How can you just ignore all the symptoms and say it's fine. Anyways, after the dentist consultation and obvious feedback telling me to take pain killers.

I asked Toni the hygienist for a dentist statement of his diagnosis and Toni looks at me with a disgusted look like if she was telling me pay your fees and get out of here. Anyways, I told Toni the reason why and she decides to cut me off and says I will need a lawyer to request the dentist's statement. The whole reason I don't recommend this place is because of Toni's action of how she just decided to disregard all my symptoms even though I knew that I had a cracked tooth in which was later on found by another dentist.

Hey Toni, thank you for ignoring all my symptoms and telling me to just brush it off and take pain killers. I guess as a POC my words and pain doesn't mean anything to you as a patient. I hope you see every patient equally Toni. At the end of the day we are all human beings!

Have been a patient since the beginning of SPFD. Have always had excellent and painless care. The dentist's and employee's are great and it is so nice to see the same faces year-after- year. A special thank you to Dr. Stanton and Lori.

My first visit to a dentist in a very long time. My hygienist Dani was super nice and very informative. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns with the utmost respect, care and professionalism. The same visit was followed up with Dr. David O., and he was very helpful in explaining my my treatment and options.

I had another great experience today with the always friendly, caring and professional staff at St. Paul Family Dentistry. Thank you to Lori, the hygienist, and to Dr. Joe Opack for the routine exam. I sincerely appreciate everyone at this wonderful clinic.

Awesome experience and really friendly staff! I liked they text you the intake form so I don't need to arrive early or hang out for a long time in lobby.

Been going to Saint Paul Family Dentistry since I did my Invisalign with Dr. Stanton years ago. He and Cheri were always amazing and made sure I understood the process and loved my results. I've had other work done since and I've always had great results with everyone I've seen. I now see Toni for my regular cleaning and she's super personable, makes you feel comfortable and absolutely great at what she does. I've sent many friends and family their way because they do such a fantastic job.

Every time I go to this office I come out smiling! They are so competent along with being so personable! Shout out to Cheri and Dr. Stanton for their amazing work! Getting a crown isn't anyone's idea of fun but you both made it the best experience it could be! Thanks for all of the comfort you provide. I never doubt your care. Being with you for over 20 years says it all! This is the dentist office I'd choose if you want the best!

Hygienist and Dentist were good. Exam and follow up filling recommended. One suggestion is to change the music that clients are forced to listen to. It might be what young people enjoy but it gave me a headache. Maybe play something a little more neutral or nothing at all.

I just finished my 6 month cleaning with Dental Hygienist Kim and had another all around great experience at St Paul Family Dentistry. Kim is quick, efficient, gentle, and thorough. She gives great feedback about what's going well in your mouth and what things you could do differently to improve other aspects of your oral health. Got in at 7am and was out the door by 8am.

I love their flexible scheduling. I appreciate that this dental office does not push with upselling or offering unnecessary procedures. I have 1 tooth with mineralization on it from childhood and both dentists I've seen at this clinic have asked if it bothers me, and when I say no they totally back off and respect my decision to keep my weird tooth the way that it is.

I have referred several people here. If you forget your chapstick and your lips get dry from stretching them open for so long, they'll offer you one of their custom chapsticks. Vanilla mint all the way.

I was recommended by the receptionist Cassie. I had worked with her at her other job. And I just went in for the consultation on Invisalign! The consultation went so well, I had Sherri. Super bubbly, very personable, and had me laughing through our whole appt. very pleased with my visit. Then it turned into an appt for cleaning since I was looking. for a new place for cleaning. (My recent person had left) so I got my cleaning done right after my Invisalign, with Jackie.

And she was the sweetest! She also gave me great options for cleaning and benefits of their place versus others. I definitely felt pleased and comfortable! I was checked up on and got tons of recommendations for preventative care, and the main dentist was a huge help as well. I know this will be where I go from now on! Thank you all again!

I've been trusting St. Paul Family Dentistry with my teeth-care for more than a decade. The entire staff are kind and professional. I used to dread going to the dentist. but they go out of their way to keep me comfortable. And I have every confidence in their office during this COVID time. They are clean, thorough, and mindful.

I had a chipped front tooth repaired by Dr. Stanton today and you can't even tell that it was chipped. He does amazing work and has a great personality. Also had my teeth cleaned by Kim who also does an amazing job. I have nothing but good things to say about St. Paul Family Dentistry.

Such a professional and friendly experience. I feel like I'm visiting my friends and family when I head to my dentist appointment. From the reminders, to the check-in process, to the cleaning, all the way to the wrap-up process, the entire staff is fabulous!

Decent experience. Had Heidi as a hygienist and she was great. I have really poor teeth with significant dental work done and still needed, as well as heightened dental anxiety because of childhood traumatic dental encounters. Felt a little shamed at first by the dentist but it felt like he was a bit more understanding and compassionate as we continued talking. The rest of the staff there were all very warm and welcoming. I will be continuing my dental care there as of now.

I just switched dentists because my old one is too far away and I've been so happy with St. Paul Family Dentistry as my new dentist! All the staff is super nice and friendly, I felt very safe and well taken care of, and each of my visits was quick and well done. The hygienist even put vaseline on my lips while my mouth was pried open for a good half hour - such a gem! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new dentist!

I have been a patient at St. Paul Family Dentistry for 15+ years. The staff is amazing, and the office is always spotless and well-maintained. It is easy to schedule convenient appointments. I highly recommend this dental office - especially Jackie, dental hygienist - she is AWESOME! I have been her patient for the entire 15+ years.

Even though I live out of state, I still prefer to come to this dentist whenever I am in town. I have probably been going there for about 10 years. They are one of the best.

Everyone is very nice and professional, but just a little slow. Sometimes I'll still be sitting in the waiting room 10min after my appointment was supposed to start and some of the hygienists can talk too much. For a 6 month check-up and cleaning I should be in and out in 30-40 minutes, but most of the time it's almost an hour

I have been going here for over 20 years. They have the most up to date technology. Very friendly and always take time to explain mouth health care options without pressure. They can do a crown in a hour visit. They make the crown at the same sitting visit rather than having to make 2 appointments. Easily located At Larpenteur and Lexington Ave.

I have been going here for about 4 years now. The dental hygienists I've worked with (Jackie and Maggie) are so warm and friendly. I appreciate that they don't make you feel like a horrible person because you aren't flossing, but they will give you honest feedback and remind you to keep taking care of your teeth. The administrative staff are helpful and positive. Dr. Opack is always friendly as well.

I don't even see Dr. Stanton, but the last time I was there, he was walking by and noticed that I was chilly sitting there. He offered me a blanket, and when I shyly said no (I felt kinda awkward about being pampered in a dentist's office!), he held it out to me and insisted. It was pretty nice :) I definitely recommend St. Paul Family Dentistry!

I was home in MN visiting family and thought I had cracked a tooth. I had sudden pain but it would come and go so didn't think much. I had just gone to a dentist where I live and had a clean check up. The pain got progressively worse and finally couldn't take it anymore. A friend recommended me to Dr. Grayson West at St. Paul Family Dentistry and he was able to get me in on a moment's notice!

It turns out I had to have an emergency root canal done because I had a decay inside my tooth not a cracked or chipped tooth like I thought! Dr. Gray was able to do the procedure on the spot! I was so grateful for this because my pain was gone and had minimal discomfort while my tooth healed! I would highly recommend a visit to Dr. Gray for you or your family's dental needs! He's quite fantastic!

Peter Stanton is the worst (it's hard to call him a dentist) dentist one could get. He reminds me of a used car salesman. Trust me you do not want him doing your crown. He pushes for the CEREC Crown a 1 appointment crow then he grinds on it to fit and uses 10x the bonding cement needed. In the end it doesn't even look like a tooth and what can you do?

Get your money back? Good Luck! I was a patient there for years. Until I had to use another dentist actually laugh at how his crown looked while attempting to clean all the excess cement out from around it. Peter you should be ashamed

I can't recommend this place enough! I recently convinced my wife to get her teeth checked at St. Paul Family Dentistry and she, too, felt the experience was quite good. I have been having my teeth checked and cleaned here since I had teeth. The front office staff are incredibly friendly and the friendly experience continues into the exam room.

My dental hygienist Kim is both friendly and professional; she does a painless yet thorough cleaning job that leaves your teeth much healthier and cleaner! If you are looking for a new dentist in the Twin Cities, look no further. If you're very attached to a great dentist (like me), you might even make this your dentist, even though you live far, far away!
