The Bodnar Periodontal Practice was established in 1961 by Julius S. Bodnar, DDS. Julius, the son of Hungarian immigrants, spent the first 18 years of his life in West Virginia coal country. Following WWII, after proudly serving our country as a medic, Julius began his studies in the field of health and dentistry attending John Carroll University and later Loyola University in Chicago.
In 1954, Dr. Bodnar opened his flagship dental practice in Fairview Park. After serving the community for many years, he recognized the need for specialized gum care in Greater Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs.
