Seven Hills Dental

I have just had nine appointments over the past year to both straighten my squint teeth and replace three teeth with implants. My treatment throughout was exemplary. The staff were friendly and informative not just to me but I saw a very anxious elderly lady from a nearby care home being reassured over her broken dentures which was appreciated by her and her career. Dr. Vineeth was excellent in explaining all the details of the procedures and options at all stages.

The change in my teeth is remarkable and has been noticed by friends and family and grandchildren. Having had squint teeth since childhood I love having straight teeth. I have been at this practice for several years and the change in it has been remarkable. Thanks to all the staff

I have been coming to seven hills for a few years now and I always see Tom. He is such a genuine and caring dentist and always has my best interests at heart. He understands I get very nervous but is always there to reassure me that i will be okay and never makes me feel silly for my concerns. Even if I moved to the other side of Edinburgh I will always stay with Tom and Seven Hills. Thank you to all the team!

Absolutely amazing - right down from the reception staff to the real quality of professionalism from Dr. Vineeth and the dental nurses. I was made to feel very comfortable in what is quite an invasive procedure, and it was all carried out with alot of reassurance along the way, alongside incredible skills. I felt in very safe and capable hands, and I was. Can't believe these people do what they do! 100% would reccomend for dental implant procedures.

This is the best dental practice experience of my entire life. The doctors are miracle workers, the service is fabulous and the customer service is top-notch. Huge thank you to Dr Vineeth & staff for professional and caring treatment.

Be very careful in dealing with these people. The practice itself is bog standard but competent, and had no specific complaints after two routine appointments. Some of their "policies" however are completely unscrupulous. They automatically assume you will be back six months after an appointment and then charge you 15 quid automatically if you don't turn up.

They had the nerve to do that to me, and what's more for an appointment that was just days before the original Covid lockdown. They will not call or email or anything - if they had I would have no problem of telling them that I had not wanted an appointment and would have cancelled anyway considering the danger of staying there with my mouth open while a deadly virus was going around.

But they don't - they just charge you and then harass you with threatening letters about sending debt collectors (for 15!). I will never set foot there again. EDIT ON RESPONSE: I cannot "clearly" have made an appointment 6 months in the future, as my work has a fluid timetable and I may well be out of town. I never make anything other than the most tentative appointments.

I don't pretend to remember what I said three years ago, but I know that I would never make a firm commitment for such an horizon and wo uld have said so. Clearly your receptionist must have misunderstood and thought I wanted an appointment. Which is fine. Misunderstandings are human and nothing that a phonecall (which you record anyway, strengthening your case) can't resolve amicably.

I realise your surgery time is important. Just pick up the phone and say an appointment is coming. None of your supposed communications reached me. Perhaps there was a glitch, I don't know. Just pick up the phone. This is what professionals do and get return customers. Arrogant, disrespectful people send threatening letters to patients in good standing two years after the event. Thank you for proving my original point for me.

What a joke wont take NHS patient because of covid but will take private makes no sense another place just there for money and not to help people would have given a 0 if I could of

Great dentist! Very nice inside and very patient orientated. Really great and patient with children and adults alike - had stickers upon request for my two little ones. Have managed to get parked on street every time I've been. Thanks Vineeth and reception for all your help!

Been visiting Seven Hills practice for over 4 years. Each time Dr Vineeth Balachandranhas been professional and clear in instructions to maintain dental health. The team is friendly and professional. The building is very bright and clean.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr Fan and the dental nurse again for their care this morning. It was quite traumatic to have an extraction but they were truly wonderful, reassuring and kept me calm. I am very grateful for the time they took and Dr Fans skill ensured the smooth removal of the offending molar. I cannot recommend this surgery highly enough! After years of having issues with my front teeth due to an accident I am finally happy and pain free. I was recommended to see Dr Vineeth Balachandran as I was having issues with my front crowns. After deciding to get implants I was so scared of the pain. There was no pain at all. The work involved in this process is amazing. The practice team are so friendly and helpful and Dr Balachandran has made my teeth look beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone going for implants to go to Seven Hills.

Going to the dentist is never pleasant, but Seven Hills is run to very high professional standards. So the experience is as painless(no pun intended)as one can hope for. Highly recommended.

I'm almost always seen on time when I visit this practice. My most recent visit was the same, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Mr Fan is always good at explaining what he's doing / what needs to be done and quite often gives wee nuggets of advice on dental care!

Devastated to be told I would need to replace my front bridge during the pandemic, I was delighted after many hours researching to find this superb dentist. I can only thank Vineeth and his team for their professionalism, guidance and friendly sympathetic manner. He is surely a perfectionist and I feel that dentistry to him is more than 'just a job'.

I recently joined Seven Hills Dental Practice and found it a very straightforward process, once I joined I booked an appointment and was seen within the week. Dr Green was amazing! I am a very anxious person when it comes to dentists and he seemed to know exactly what to do to calm that down, he explained the procedures thoroughly and made my appointments stress free! His work is amazing and he is very personable. I highly recommend coming Seven Hills Dental Practice!

I have been with Seven Hills Dental Practice for many years as a NHS patient. I am and have always been rather scared having to attend Dentists, for no other reason that my teeth were rather neglected, at another practice I fainted after having had an injection to freeze my gum thereafter I had to have treatment without which was never pleasant. I cannot fault the Practice my Dentist is Fan and I have recommended family members to attend there.

Fan puts me very much at ease as he knows I can be quite nervous. He explains everything throughout the procedure I am having. I have also had some treatment done as a private patient as NHS do not cover everything now. The Practice is being renovated at the moment and with Covid still ongoing they are taking all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. Fan and the team from receptionists to hygienists are all doing an excellent job in the unprecedented circumstances we find ourselves in at the moment.
