Hello, I am Dr. James Lund. Before I tell you a bit about myself, I would first like to thank you for taking the time to browse our website. I am a Utah native, who grew up in Cache Valley and went to USU. In the summer of 1997, I moved to the Washington DC area for a year to establish Virginia residency for dental school.
Whitening, also known as bleaching, is the procedure used to brighten teeth. There are two different ways to achieve a desired whiter smile: In-Office Bleaching and At-Home Bleaching. There are so many different products and methods, I can't touch on all of them. The basic principle for most systems is some form of peroxide.
This technology has been an absolute game changer in regards to more improved, accurate care for our patients. Traditional x-rays only offer a flat picture of many teeth, bones, nerves, and tissue piled on top of each other, leaving the dentist to guess as to their arrangement. From details as small as the nerve position while doing a root canal, to the exact position of wisdom teeth in relation to the other teeth and jaw.
An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. X-rays allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession, infections, widom teeth, or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head, and neck area.

I love the staff. They are amazing! I have gone to this office since I was 16 even when I moved away for college. I scheduled my appointments while I was visiting. They always make sure to get me in. They are great with my kids and my children think it is fun going to the dentist. I will never go anywhere else.

I've had more than my share of dental issues over the last 20 years. Fillings, crowns, root canals, implants, etc. You name it, I've had it. There's no one I trust more with all my dental health than Dr. Lund. He's always cautious and concerned about any discomfort I might be having during or after any procedure. His office is inviting and comfortable and his staff is fantastic. I highly recommend Dr Lund and his team!

Dr. Lund and his team are fantastic! I was beyond pleased with my services. Their new office is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and kind. My wait time was very minimal both in the waiting room and in the chair. Dr. Lund is very gentle during procedures and I would highly recommend this office to anyone.
