In 1990, I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry as a member of the Clinical Honors Program. Immediately following, I equipped a small, new office space in Raytown, Missouri, and began practicing General Family Dentistry with an emphasis in "Cosmetic Dentistry."Over the next six years, my practice had grown and in 1996 I co-founded a group-oriented cosmetic practice in Independence, Missouri.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Smith and Barb. The place is always spotlessly clean. They take time to make sure each patient is comfortable and well informed. I always know what my out of pocket estimate for any work after cleaning is going to be before I leave, and exactly what needs to be done. They are always cheerful and friendly and make me want to come back - which is impressive for a dental practice!

First visit. Dr. Smith and Barb were very friendly, knowledgable and jumped through time constraints and my insurance to get things going. Very informative about what is going on in my mouth, and how they can help and the realistic limitations to my expectation/imagination. They set me up with another practice for an evaluation and forwarded all my details so I didn't have to replicate them. Efficient, friendly and relaxed for a very good first impression and experience.

Want to thank Dr Smith and team for seeing me on short notice when I moved back to Lee's Summit the week after Christmas. Was so happy to be a returning patient and had bad timing of moving and a dental issue but they took me back and in a hurry because of my issue. They truly care about the patient and work on finding the best solution.

Not being a fan of the dentist I dreaded even calling any of them, however after reading the 5 star ratings I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. The office was very nice, clean, and updated. I felt like part of their family as I walked in the door. A small practice where I didn't feel like a number and felt like a real person who they had my best interests at heart. Definitely recommend to anyone!

I have been going to the same dentist for over 25 years until he retired. this was my first trip to Dr. Smith. I was extremely pleased with how thorough he was. He didn't try to sell me on anything and was genuinely concerned only about keeping my teeth healthy. His office staff is incredible and friendly. Nice to find an honest, sincere dentist.
