My experience here was lovely from the first phone call when I got to talk to Dr. Shawn and Sue who were both kind and welcoming. Ashton is a very knowledgeable hygienist and was thorough not only in her cleaning but when explaining what she was doing and why which I really appreciated. I was given payment options since I don't have insurance and told the cost up front for replacing an optional filling.

The technology is also worth mentioning. Getting to see your teeth on the big screen was not only a treat, it was comforting to know that this office is using state of the art equipment. I also love the free t-shirt in the goodie bag! Do I really have to wait 6 months to come back?

Dr. Shawn and the crew at The Advanced Center of Dentistry are amazing! Every time I'm there they are so attentive to my needs answering every question I have and always making me feel comfortable and at ease during my appointments! They do a fantastic job and are overall an amazing group of people!

After having some very negative experiences at previous dentists for about 25 years of my life, I thought that was just a normal part of going to the dentist. I dreaded it! It felt like torture and was almost too stressful and terrifying to just walk into the office for a routine teeth cleaning. I discovered The Center for Advanced Dentistry and made the switch.

From my first appointment, it was like a breath of fresh air. Turns out, those negative experiences are really not par for the course. Dr. Hornstein, Dr. Schlessel and the entire staff exemplify kindness, compassion and truly care about your well-being which I have found to be a rarity among many offices. An added bonus is that they have quite a few comedians on staff and never fail to make you laugh about something.

I have been going here for years and have sent friends and family to this practice as I trust them wholeheartedly. When you find a group of individuals who are passionate about the work they do and care about your outcome, you find they do a phenomenal job - that's what this group has to offer. It is refreshing to actually look forward to going to the dentist - I never thought I would ever say these words. You walk into this office as a patient and leave feeling like family! I am so grateful for the entire staff at The Center for Advanced Dentistry.

I walked in this morning as a new patient and immediately felt as if I have always been a patient of Dr. Schlessel. He took the time to not only get to know me, but also made sure all my dental concerns were answered. He is super knowledgeable and friendly! From the moment I walked in the door everyone was very warm and friendly. I am getting married in July, and the staff were all interested in my planning and details on my big day. I would highly recommend Dr. Shawn Schlessel/ The Center for Advanced Dentistry for anyone looking for a new Dental home.

Having only had two sessions with this office, I am very pleased and comfortable with this team. The most important thing about this office for me so far - was the fact that the dentist and staff appear to be kind, easy to talk to and they did everything that they could to make me feel safe / at ease and cared for. I chose this team because it was referred to me by my Chiropractor Dr. Michael Polsinelli (they were the first to call me back when I really needed an alternative holistic dental team ASAP). Dr. Shawn Schessel also continued to check on me after the dental procedure (also gave me his personal cell phone - which I really have not needed). I am grateful at this time that they fit me in during a time when the weather as well as the challenges of COVID have been so prevelant.

All of the girls starting with the front desk are very friendly. Sandy was my dental hygienist today and always goes above and beyond and could not be more personable. Dr. Shawn is very knowledgeable and caring and has a nice touch. I highly recommend The Center for Advanced Dentistry.

Always enjoy my time at the dentist. The staff has been here for as long as I can remember and truly treat you like family. Everyone makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Never thought I'd say "Wow! That was a great initial dental appointment!" -- but it's true. I've been trying to find a new dentist where I felt comfortable and confident and.well. I don't have to look any further. The staff is very friendly and compassionate; Dr. Shawn is clearly knowledgeable and professional -- even able to offer options for how to fix one of my crowns that needs fixing. I just wish I hadn't been so scared and procrastinated! Without question or hesitation, I would highly recommend The Center for Advanced Dentistry.

I'm so glad I chose this dental office! Every person with whom I interacted was very friendly and exuded a positive and welcoming attitude. Both dentists popped into my appointment at some point to greet me as a new patient, and both took the time for a pleasant and light-hearted chat. It was apparent to me that this is a very positive working environment which will always spill out into positive interactions with patients.

Regarding the dental care, they respected my wishes to not use fluoride without question or hesitation. They were efficient but compassionate when it came to x-rays and my tendency to gag on the device. I always feel so bad about that but it's just an automatic reaction and they were patient and kind about it. My dental appointment went very smoothly and I feel confident that my needs would be met (probably exceeded) if I were to ever have a dental emergency.but let's hope I never have to test that theory! Totally worth the drive all the way across town! Highly recommend!
