I would highly recommend Elite Dental. Great dentist and support staff. What I like most is the technology! Also no pain pain during my procedures and very affordable!

Elite Dental has really gone downhill with the turnover of their staff. Used to love this place pre COVID. The past two visits were different hygienists and dentists that saw me and gave me contradicting information about follow up care. I asked the hygienist why she told me to do something the previous one told me not to, and her response was 'no one should have told you that'.

Then the dentist told me he would give me a referral for a jaw surgeon I needed to see and they never followed up. I emailed them to get the referral and they told me they had 'no record for me', after being a patient for over 2 years. I also purposefully left without scheduling another appointment because of the horrible experience and wanting to switch.

But to my surprise, they called today to tell me that I have an appointment tomorrow. I told them I wanted to cancel (still with 24 hours notice) and they told me there is a fee for cancelling less than 2 business days in advance. Funny they didn't call with enough notice to cancel without having to pay. Do not recommend, will never go back!

I was a patient for the last five years, but I refuse to go to Elite Dental anymore. Elite Dental kept me waiting in a dentist chair for 30 minutes because the hygienist was not there. The hygienist, who arrived late, was not someone who treated me before. I felt pressured to have a procedure done to my mouth that I didn't want to have done until a later appointment.

I was treated like a child rather than a grown adult, as the hygienist shamed me for problems with my gums that aren't easy to manage. When it came time to pay the bill, they made me pay for some overpriced mouth rinse. Then there's the fact that I waited 15-20 more minutes while they tried to get a billing estimate from my insurance company, something that could've been done while I was receiving treatment. Oh, and they pass off the costs of having personal protective equipment that keeps patients from getting COVID to the patients, making them pay $20 extra.

The staff turnover is high, they're dysfunctional, and I will never let anyone in this clinic near my teeth again. *** EDIT - 1-25-22: Google notified me about 9 months after this review that it is a rather popular review. I'll add a short update. I am now a patient at Lake View Dental Associates just off the Belmont Red Line. The care they provide to patients should be studied by Elite Dental.

It is superior. On my first visit in July, I had my teeth cleaned. They informed me that my crown was not done properly by Elite Dental because there is a gap where food can pack and cause gum disease. The Elite Dental hygienist who was late pressured me to have gingivitis scaling. I was supposed to come back for a second round but refused, believing I did not need to waste my money.

And what do you know? When I went to Lake View for my first visit, they cleaned my mouth and never recommended gingivitis scaling. I hope these details help some more Chicagoans in the area find the right dentist. Oh, and Lake View does not pass off the costs for PPE to prevent COVID to their patients by charging them $20. What Elite Dental has done is not necessarily standard.

I had my annual cleaning at Elite Dental in July of 2020. My appointment was with a different doctor than I booked with and the cleaning wasn't terrible, but just overall not a comfortable experience. I decided not to return. I paid nothing for the cleaning (through insurance) and $20 for their PPE fee when I left. Later, I found out via a bill from them that in addition to my cleaning, they billed me/my insurance for a cavity filling that I did not have done.

I reached out to them right away and they said they would handle it. As time went on, I continued to get bills, so I called again, afraid it would be sent to collections. They said they were sorting it out. About a month ago, I got a call from them for an appointment reminder. I declined and asked, "What about the bill I continue to get?" They said they were working on it. Today, 6 months later, I got an email for the same bill. I'm tired of this. How long should it take for them to pay my insurance back and remove this bill?

The Dentists at Elite are fantastic. Really, really top notch care at an affordable price. The only thing I'd change about them is their location. Can be very tough finding a parking spot around them. Seems like the City of Chicago makes it worse by constantly limiting street parking for street cleaning, construction and god knows what else. There are always NO Parking signs up and down Sheridan Road.

I am SO glad I found this dentist. Having gone to a previous dentist for 13 years, I'm now realizing what a great dentist's office is like. I'm in the process of extensive crown work done and my appointments have always been on time, quickly scheduled, and no surprises when it came to the cost vs. the estimates. Light Classical music was even supplied and made the crown work almost a pleasurable experience.

I recommend this office to everyone I know! The staff is super friendly and professional, my hygienist went out of her way to explain what she was measuring, and the dentists are always great.

Do not go to this Dentist. They are a scam! When you schedule a appointment for a cleaning they just want to do X-rays for over a hour on your first visit a they never even clean your teeth. Than they want to charge a $20 covid fee on top of everything else. Worst experience ever at a dentist office. All they would of had to do to make me happy was clean my teeth. They knew I was upset after asking 5 times to have my teeth cleaned. This was asking 3 different employee-including the dentist himself- NO ONE CARED. Such a bummer :-

This is the best, most efficient dentist office I've ever been to! The office manager Rosie was super friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hobbs and the hygienist James were really great and are very good at their jobs. 10/10 would recommend to literally everyone

After an unfortunate experience with another Chicago dentist since moving back in December 2020, I could not be more pleased with Elite Dental. They are professional, personable, and efficient. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist!

I have not been to the dentists in over 5 years. This was a great first experience back everyone was friendly and I got seen timely. They're up front with all the cost and did not try to up sell me on anything I did not actually need. I have had 3 appointments with them so far including a crown. All appointments went smoothly so far overall very happy!

Find a real dentist, not a bunch of sales reps for dental quackery. Before we started the dental assistant asked me how long I had gum disease. I was like, I don't believe I do and she said, "Oh, are you a new patient?" Literally, they sell scam products to everyone walking through the door. Wasted my time and tried to sell me an expensive holistic mouth wash.

The dentist who finally saw me was not even one listed on their stock photo site. Instead of directly answering my questions about what a couple of concern areas looked like on X-rays he went on a weird tangent about being responsible for my health and that my jaw alignment was something that would need serious treatment. Finally, he told me I had no cavities and then he literally could not point out the crack in one of my molar's enamel until after I showed him and got out of the chair and demanded to see the X-rays.

Then he 'found' the issue. 2 times in the process I specifically asked to walk through my x-rays (as almost every other dentist I have ever been a patient of has gladly done) and they did not. Oh, and DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE with your data! They emailed sensitive information, including copies of my x-rays to me through unencrypted email, which is a HIPAA violation. This place should be shut down and these scam artists should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT GO HERE.

Scheduled an appointment on Elite Dental's website because it was close to my new home. Received a call from them the next day verifying my insurance info, which I gave. Received two reminder emails the week before my appointment which I responded to affirmatively. Then, the day before my appointment, I received a call from a rude front desk staff member telling me I hadn't given my insurance information and that I would need to supply it by the end of the day or my appointment would need to be rescheduled.

I was in the middle of my work day, and didn't have my insurance card readily handy. It irritated me a bit and I told the staff member I had supplied that information earlier and perhaps they could find it in their system. This staff simply repeated that I would need to supply the info or have my appointment rescheduled. I said I would try to get the information. when I had some downtime at my job, I called back with the requested info and first was hung up on, and then placed on hold and hung up on.

I guess they're not only disorganized, rude and busy on the phone lines, but don't like getting paid during a pandemic! Gross. Reading some of these other reviews, I'm glad that it worked out this way and I have been able to avoid further headaches via bad care.

I am currently sitting at my fourth appointment with this dental office. Three out of four appointments have started more 30+ minutes late. If you value your time, go somewhere else.

Elite Dental is by far the best Dentist I have ever been to. The staff is absolutely amazing from the reception to the hygienists and assistants and dentists. Everyone made me feel so comfortable. The dentist even called me after my filling to see how I was doing! I highly recommend Elite Dental, LTD.

Just had my first appointment with Dr. V. She was an excellent communicator during my exam, and the hygienist who saw to me afterwards did an efficient and effect job with the cleaning. Special shout out to the reception staff who was understanding when I had to no show due to an emergency.

I went to this office for it's location convenience simply because I needed a routine check up and cleaning. The dental hygienist gasped and looked horrified at my gum measurements and told me my teeth were going to fall out. The Dentist told me I needed an invasive deep cleaning procedure to prevent this. And that now is a good time to get it because my insurance will cover 80% (eye roll.$$$).

I have great teeth and I knew something was wrong with the consultation. I got a 2nd opinion and learned that I do not need a deep cleaning. It took me FOUR (4) days to get Elite Dental to send me my x-rays. Everyday I called and was told they will be sent via email (and then hung up on me) but they were never sent. Perhaps they sent my medical records to someone else- who knows. Choosing a dentist's office based on location was clearly not the right choice for me and I recommend everyone to do their research and go the extra mile (literally) to find the right dentist. This office attempted to scare me into paying for something I did not need and I am considering filing a report with the state board.

I can't say enough how disappointed I am with the service we got there. My daughter went in for a cap and they sliced her tongue. She's was 18 at the time so I let her go on her own. Trusting they would take extra care with her and call me with any concerns. I've delayed to do this review because I knew I would be so angry about it I might not contain myself. I've have a big phobia of dentist and they have made things worst. Needless to say we never went back.

She and I had caps done there and had to have them redone elsewhere. I'm sorry we went there for convenience being close by. We now take our business elsewhere and have been happy with the care now given. I hope this has been a one time incident for this practice otherwise I feel bad for the next person this happens to.

I'd never come back here again. A change in insurance plans left me needing to find a new dentist (after 27 years with my previous family dentist). I chose Elite Dental because it was in a convenient location. They took x-rays at my first visit and then told me they didn't have time to clean my teeth. They told me I had 13 cavities. I go to the dentist every 6 months, brush, and floss regularly.

The staff were pushy on getting me to purchase an electric tooth brush and were incredibly eager to schedule me and come back to have all that work done! Whenever a dentist pushes like that, it's a red flag for me. I called my old dentist and went back to them for a second opinion, and it turns out I only had 2 cavities. I would advise others to stay away from Elite Dental, it seems like they want to make a sale more than provide quality dental care.

Let me start by saying that I'm not always the best patient. I have a demanding schedule and have been late 2/2 times. Well, for my first visit I was actually on time, but I was supposed to be early to fill out paperwork. I called, a little frantic, and the receptionist spent 15 minutes on the phone with me filling out as much of the paperwork as she could, I was very impressed with the kindness.

The office is a little outdated, but the staff's skillset more than makes up for it. I've only been twice, but they've treated me with patience, kindness and respect and I really appreciate it.

I've been coming here for years! There was a time when my insurance switched over and had me go to a different dentist for a bit. I actually missed Elite Dental so I switched insurance plans so I can come back! Friendly staff and knowledgable and caring dentists. Outstanding overall.

Although the treatments were good, and the dentist is professional, everything else is lacking. Twice they canceled an appointment on the same day (appointments that were scheduled many months before), I got surprising bills long time after the procedures, and a few times their computers did not work when I called in to request information. I left this office in search for a better one.

I knew I needed a new dentist, but it took a toothache to make me finally pick one. I'm so glad I picked this office! On my first visit EVERYONE was so welcoming. I really liked the technology they used to x-ray my teeth; it came up on a screen that I could see, and they told me what was going on with my teeth. Being informed always is helpful!

They were able to make the time to help take care of my tooth that was causing me pain. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered. They also really were great at helping me understand my insurance coverage. It's a great team of people! I'm happy to know my teeth are in good care!

Let me start by saying that the actual dental staff, meaning the hygienist and dentist's are EXCELLENT. The office staff however is terrible. Started with them telling me that I was only covered 50% and demanding full payment. Now I had called my insurance company an hour before my visit and they assured me that I was covered 80%. After a bit of arguing and then the office staff actually calling my insurance company, turns out I was right and the amount I owed was cut drastically.

Two weeks later, I start getting phone calls from the office staff telling me that I owe them hundreds of dollars for some "lab fees" that weren't covered by my insurance. I call the insurance company AGAIN, and they say they've never been billed for any lab fees so they don't know if they'd be covered. So again, demanding payment for things they didn't bother to check to see if they are covered by insurance. Honestly. I won't be back when I finish these procedures. The front office staff seems very unethical and unprofessional.

The dentists here are actually really sweet and funny and make a great effort to make the whole experience painless when you're sitting in the chair. Dr. Rogers was very kind at my checkup and Dr. V was very kind (let me wear my headphones to relax) when getting a tooth extraction. My horrible review is for the receptionist staff. They were rude to me right away when I didn't want to give them my personal information (SSN) thru email.

And then rude again when I showed up for my appointment, giving me a lot of attitude. But truthfully the ladies who sit behind the front desk are just terrible at their jobs. My tooth extraction didn't go as planned, so the dentist had to send me to an oral surgeon to finish the job the next day. They gave me the phone number of the place I was supposed to call to give my information, made me pay for the unfinished extraction, then send me on my way with a prescription.

Of course I called the new place as soon as I got home, gave them my name and number and they said "Great, we hope to see you tomorrow, we just need a call from Elite Dental." Only problem was, Elite Dental never called the second office to confirm the time of my appointment. So, when I went the next day, I was never in the system and would have to reschedule a full two weeks from then.

When I called Elite Dental to ask why they never confirmed my appointment, they accused both me and the new place of "lying to cover our asses" and I'm not even joking those are the words they used. I laughed, hung up, and made an appointment to finish my tooth extraction somewhere else. Seriously, who accuses their own patient of lying? And then accuses another dentists office for lying as well? They were the ones who messed up. All they had to do was apologize for the mishap and try to rectify the situation but they had such a bad attitude.

Overall, my experience was middle of the road. It was the end of the day and it was quite clear that the staff was ready to go home. I understand this sentiment completely. Though it did make my experience feel hasty. I would have truly appreciated it if the doctor or staff had explained to me what procedures were being done and articulated to "why" to help make me more comfortable and explain the larger context of the work being done. Instead, I felt poked, pulled and prodded.

This is the first time I've ever felt uncomfortable at the dentist. I've had great experiences with Elite Dental before and will continue using them as my dental provider. I just hope for a better experience next time.

I will have to say the doctors are really great, especially Dr. V. She has a a great personality and is very funny. In fact, if I still lived in the neighborhood, I would seriously consider being a patient to this day if it was not for their billing/front office. I originally visited the office in 2012, without any problems and recommended that my husband go there as well.

We moved to another dentist when we moved across town, but much to our chagrin we began receiving bills from the office stating that we owed a balance. Each time we would call, we received a different explanation of the bill, ranging from we don't have insurance (even though we had proof our insurance company paid them) to it was an error on their part and we can ignore it.

At this point, I have received numerous invoices all with different balances and seriously considering legal action, because I am concerned serious unethical behavior is happening in this office.

One word for this place, "AMAZING!" They go above and beyond to attend to the patient needs. I had a few dentist offices in the past that I attended, but none compares to the friendliness and professionalism that Dr. V and her staff provides. They always accommodate my frequently changing schedule (due to my job), and still provide me with excellent service. I would highly recommend Elite Dental to all my fiends and family. PS Did I mention that she has probably the best staff working in her office?
