Dr. Grant was a clinical instructor at Baylor College of Dentistry where she instructed dental students in general and comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Grant has practiced dentistry in the Tampa Bay area since 1993 and is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Just a block from Hyde Park's upscale shops and restaurants sits a small, elegant house decorated with antiques, comfortable living room furniture and soothing dark green walls. The attractive, Craftsmen style blends well with the historic neighborhood, which is exactly what Dr. Grant had in mind when she created The Hyde Park Center For Aesthetic Dentistry.
At the Hyde Park Center for Aesthetic Dentistry, we believe good dental care is part of a healthy lifestyle. It is our goal to help you keep your teeth and gums in good health. A simple routine of daily teeth cleaning, good eating habits and regular dental visits can help prevent tooth decay (cavities) and gum (periodontal) disease.
Our dental office is proud to provide a high level of care for our patients. That's why we use a laser light utilizing Velscope technology to help us identify oral disease early, while it's still easy to treat. How many little sores do we find in our mouths? Dozens? Most of the time we ignore them and they simply go away.
A sealant is a resin material that is usually applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. A sealant acts as a barrier that protects tooth enamel from bacterial plaque. Sealants prevent cavities from forming by depriving decay causing bacteria of the food they need to survive. Sealants protect teeth by "sealing" pits and fissures and creating a barrier against plaque and food.

Look no more if you want to visit a sales office full of non-transparent shadiness. Weird vibes from the moment I walked past the reception desk. HEAVY sales pitch from this office, with no care of the state of your dental and financial needs. It's all about Christine, and billing absolutely everything possible. Walked in with 100% preventive PPO insurance and was forced to pay $75 because of their 'operating procedures'.
This consisted of separate charges for an oral cancer screening, fluoride (fair) and some random oral rinse that I said I didn't want or need. The cleaning was 15-20 minutes. The lady was so nice, but it was clear that she needed to do the absolute bare minimum to turn the next patient. 100% worst cleaning of my life, due to the shortness of time.
Let's talk about the X-rays and exam. It is Christine's top priority to try and fill just about every tooth in your mouth, right away. GET A SECOND OPINION. It saved me over $1500 dollars because she wants to fill teeth that aren't necessary ready to be filled, yet! Before I left, I asked to spread some of my dental work to fit my financial needs.
I wanted to space a crown and a couple fillings out. Ouch, I was roasted by the staff which basically explained that my teeth would fall out and I'd be back to fill replacements. What an awful experience. Call their office line and listen to the hold music, "it's a sales pitch of all the extra items Christine can SELL to you." Pretty terrible that it's that blatantly obvious.
Last point I should make is that she was the #1 provider in TPA based on reviews per Aetna's website. Fake news, I am sure she paid for that ad, by up-selling a kind patient. This office is not insurance forward, and will not listen to your needs.

Doctor Grant and every member of her staff were on point. I had x-rays and a cleaning scheduled as a new patient and after the thorough explanatory exam, I was fully informed and trust that she has my best interest at heart. I booked in for her recommendations after seeing that she has planned for my long term care and has provided me with options, while making recommendations that include cosmetic but prioritize my health. I am pleased with my first visit to Doctor Grant's office.

Dr. Christine Grant and her staff have always provided great and friendly service. I usually do not like the dentist but I can say that each time I have gone I received amazing service. They do a great job at explaining exactly what they are doing to you and make sure you are comfortable with everything. Also they are great at working with regarding all your dental needs. I always leave satisfied with a smile on my face. I have recommend them to others and they have had similar experiences.

This is best dental experience I have ever had. I've been going to this office for 2 years now. Dr. Christine always knows how to make dental work less scary and puts her patients at ease. Barbara at the front desk is always so sweet and has a smile on her face. Margo the dental assistant is so personable and so kind and always makes me feel so comfortable and let's me know everything they are doing. I would never go anywhere else in Tampa for my dental work. The entire staff goes above and beyond for their patients and I am so lucky to have found them!
