Dr Robert Perez always knew he wanted to be a dentist and achieved his goal of graduating from Louisiana School of Dentistry in 1976. He served our nation in the U.S Army where he completed his mini-residency in general dentistry.

I went to Dr Perez to get cosmetic work my front teeth before my wedding several years ago. The crowns that he did on my teeth looked ridiculous. I was only in my low 20's at that time. I didn't know any better. Some people still don't know who is a good dentist or not. They just trust the dentist. But they look terrible from the start! He didn't even have my crown's ready and I did get married wearing temporary crowns.
That is a major NO, NO! So many things can go wrong! Now I am older and a Dental Hygienist. I did get the crowns replaced by a quality dentist. When the dentist removed the horrible crowns that Dr Perez did, we were shocked to see the poor dentistry that was done to my teeth. Dr Perez removed too much tooth structure and did a poor job with the margins of the teeth as well.
I do run the risk of my teeth breaking at some point. In addition, he used a very poor material which is called PFM (porcelain fused to metal). This material should not be used for front teeth! The teeth were long, boxy and with an awful color. And I will not forget the very painful injections that he gave me on the day that he placed the permanent crowns with a satisfying look on his eyes.

Having been a patient for many years, I have always received excellent care from Dr. Perez, Monica and everyone in their office. Recently a toothache had me in the office; the problem was quickly diagnosed and Dr. Perez provided treatment that fortunately didn't require a root canal. He effectively explained the problem, and provided treatment options giving me the pros and cons of each.
He has always been able to diagnose and conservatively treat any dental problem I've had. The office has accommodated me on the occasion of several dental emergencies. I've always felt they really cared about my health and welfare. Based on those years of being a patient of Dr. Perez, I can highly recommend the office for those seeking excellent dental care.

You could not ask for a better team to work on you and you're teeth, Doctor Robert Perez goes over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident that you are going to be taking care of. All of his staff from the receptionist up to the hygienist are assuring that your needs are going met to the highest quality of service. Always greeting you with a smile and attitude of willing to help you in any way. You could not ask for better service from any other Dentist office in the Tampa Bay area.

I previously went to Dr. Perez for dental care when I worked in the Tampa area. My employment changed and so did my insurance several years ago, and I was forced to seek another dental office in Pasco County. A turning point for me was when my daughter required dental care, and we weren't satisfied with are options in our home area. My daughter has "dentist fear" for sure, and I knew that Dr. Perez was the finest dentist I have ever been to, and if anyone could help her to get over this fear it would be him.
Our experience was fantastic from beginning to end- from scheduling with Juanita, and her warm personality the day of the appointment, to the dental assistant, who went out of her way to make my daughter feel heard, and making sure she knew exactly what was going to happen, to Dr. Perez calming her down, and treating her with his care and skill, to Monica taking her time cleaning her teeth and understanding the fear is real, our experience was perfect.
My daughter lives in North Carolina now, but she will schedule her appointments only at Impressive Smiles, making the trip for dental care and making it a family visit after. After all of this, I too will take personal time off, to drive here for my dental care. The difference in the professionalism, to the level of care and expertise was so obvious to me from where I recently received dental care, I knew I had to make the effort to return as a patient. The confidence in knowing you are in good hands -is worth the drive and the time, to be a patient of this wonderful group of professionals!

Both Dr Perez and his assitant Barbara made the experience of getting a crown as good as it gets. No pain, thorough and efficient work, friendly staff, sensitive and caring dentist and staff. all went so well. I was tempted to postpone the work until after the holidays, but I am so glad I moved forward with the plan to get the work done now. No need to worry about having a dental emergency! I highly recommend Dr. Perez's work. He is a perfectionist.

Dr. Perez and his staff really went above and beyond for me. I had several fillings done at this office and after a year one of them unexpectedly had an issue. I called and not only did the office set up my appointment for the next day, but Dr. Perez fixed it when I thought I would just be going in to get it looked at. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he's doing, and Barbara is so friendly and really cares about her patients. Highly suggest this orthodontist!

I am a general dentist, retired from private practice and currently on the faculty of a dental school. I trust Dr. Perez with my mother's, my wife's and my own dental care. Dr. Perez is caring, honest and highly qualified. He uses the latest techniques in the best interest of his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Perez for all your dental needs. This was the first dentist I've been to in 9 years.more than less due to anxiety with the dentist. All the associates were extremely helpful with making sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. After some procedures, I've never been better! My teeth are way healthier and I now recommend Dr. Perez to all my friends and family (some that need to listen better). Overall though I'm very happy with Dr. Perez and his staff. All around great people and take great care of there patients.

Having been going to Dr Perez for over 30 years I have always experienced excellent dental care from both the doctor and his staff. Ive yet to have a problem or concern that wasnt immediately resolved. Having been under his care all these years I am in excellent dental health. I would highly recommend Dr Perez, Monica for hygiene care and his office for quality dental seevices.
