Apical surgery is considered a standard oral surgical procedure. It is often a last resort to surgically maintain a tooth with a periapical lesion that cannot be managed with conventional endodontic retreatment. The main goal of apical surgery is to prevent bacterial leakage from the root-canal system into the periradicular tissues by placing a tight root-end filling following root-end resection.
A bright smile requires not only white teeth, but also attractive, healthy and pink-colored gums, perfectly filling out the spaces between the teeth. To make this possible, and to offer patients the best quality, Dr. Tsoucaris utilizes the highest standard, non-metal implant system. The implants, made from the high-performance zirconium oxide ceramic, are very similar to the condition of genuine teeth and tooth roots; they are excellently compatible biologically and are tolerated very well by the gums.

Totally unprofessional office from the doctor to the front desk. Doctor seemed offended if I asked questions and he wasn't sure what to tell me. He also tapped my teeth VERY HARD and kept asking me if it hurt. I would be surprised if he didn't crack a tooth or two. He didn't know what to do after saying come back in a year. When I questioned it, he said ok, 6 months.
Absolutely no clue! On top of that, I was told that they took my insurance but after the consultation, they said not for what he did. They expected me to pay $200. That was their mistake, so I refused to pay. Stay away from this place. Patients should be treated with respect and not spoken to as if we are morons.

I've known Dr. Tsoucaris as a patient and then client of my business for over a decade. As a Doctor, business owner and client he's as top notch as they come. His facilities are ultra modern. Numerous times Dr. Tsoucaris has gone way out of his way to meet my needs far beyond my expectations. I highly recommend.

I had a horrible experience in this Dental facility. I went in for a bone graph and was treated poorly and unprofessional by Stephen J. Tsoucaris and the receptionist. After my visit I caught an infection that spread to my ear. When I returned to discuss this with the dentist Stephen rushed me out and wanted to leave my stitches hanging when they broke off.
I told him I was in pain and he disregarded my issue and rushed to the next patient and said I would be fine. Also the receptionist used the same glove from one patient to the next which can cause cross contamination and they argued unprofessionally in front of me. I would not recommend this place, had the worst experience.

After being referred by my regular dentist for a root canal -- on an extremely painful tooth -- I made an appointment to see this Stephen Tsoucaris, DMD at Palisades Endodontics. After several phone calls with two rude receptionists, I made an appointment to have the root canal performed that same week. The day before the appointment I had an emergency and called and said I needed to postpone by one day.
The receptionist said that was fine and she rescheduled me. When I arrived at the office on the morning of my appointment, I was told I couldn't have the root canal and would only be able to do a consultation because I had cancelled the previous appointment (although she had never told me this when she rescheduled me). I told them I had taken a half day off from work to have the root canal performed and was in a lot of pain and couldn't understand why/how there was a miscommunication.
They refused to accommodate me so I left. A month later, I received a bill in the mail for a $75 for a "broken/failed" appointment -- which feels a lot like extortion to me. I'm very disappointed in this place and would highly suggest against patronizing such a crooked practice.

This place is great! Makes you feel comfortable and secure in all that they do, true professionals! From the staff that greats you at there awesome waiting room to the Doctor that puts you at ease right from the introduction. Definitely a five star dentist experience and I don't know many people that can say that! Very special thanks to Grace and Briscila for your great attitude and big thank you to the man behind the work Dr. Stephen. ~Christine Bica ~

It was a horribly painful experience. He would not give me enough to novocaine to numb my mouth, even after I begged for more. I was crying in the chair with tears running down my cheeks and he asked me repeatedly " what's wrong." And he wouldn't provide me with a prescription for strong enough pain meds for after the procedures. This guy is a sadist! To his credit, he did good work but I would NEVER RECOMMEND HIM!

He's alright I mean he accepts hmo's and still accepted me even though I've been a bit of an inconvenient patient at times but him and his staff do have a propensity to carry on a tad too much for a dentist office and go overboard which is tasteless in any field but the medical field especially but I surely wasn't going to give him a one or two because I have had way worse and he is quick and efficient, he also has ample parking available even though it is in Fort Lee. As long as I continue to have lousy insurance and he's at an accessible location I'll still see him when absolutely necessary.
