Marina was born into a family of doctors and scientists in Russia, where her first love was music and her first profession was a teacher of classical piano. Her father was a dentist in Russia, this encouraged Marina to pursue her interest in dentistry and she became a registered hygienist in 2010 after graduating from College of DuPage.

Dr. Scarpiniti completed his dental education at the prestigious Loyola University School of Dentistry, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984.
Digital x-rays are the newest technology used in dentistry to take and archive dental x-rays. Digital x-rays significantly reduce the amount of radiation as compared to traditional dental x-rays. This technique captures a digital picture of teeth with their supporting bone structures and stores the images on a computer in our dental office in Lombard, IL.
Even if you maintain good oral hygiene in your daily routine, regular in-office exams are necessary for preventing disease and mitigating problems early. During your oral exam, one of our dental hygienists will remove any plaque or tartar missed during regular brushing. The cleaning will take approximately 30 minutes, after which Dr. Scarpiniti will examine your mouth to make sure your teeth and gums are in optimal condition. Comprehensive oral exams will help prevent problems, before they become emergencies.
