Very kind, caring and friendly staff. Dr Brown knows what he is doing. I was taken promptly, no waiting around.

Excellent Endodontist with very compassionate staff. He treats each patient as if they are a member of his own family. Although I had insurance, I had been there before without insurance and he has very fair prices and is very ethical. I wish there were more like him and I hope he doesn't retire.

It is RARE that I publicly make comments or recommendations, however in this particular case I have to say the professional atmosphere from start to finish of my procedure was beyond 5 stars. Dr Brown did an IMPECCABLE job, explaining everything in detail AND followed through on it. Entire procedure took less than 30 minutes and I did NOT feel a thing! If I am unfortunate enough to need another root canal, I will NOT hesitate to reach out to this practice! I highly recommend Dr Bruce Brown!

I should've heeded Sherry's warning in her review. I had a gut feeling I shouldn't have come here after reading her review but this man (if you can call him that) was recommended to me by a new dentist that I started seeing and I trusted her. I have NEVER experienced such arrogance and unprofessionalism from a medical "professional" in my life! On March 16th I started a root canal with this man going against my better gut judgement.

I was happy and grateful that they were able to get me in right away as I was in tremendous pain (but now I understand why the office wasn't very busy). I am very sensitive on my teeth and the first bad sign was that he came across as very unconcerned or irritated by that. I had the 1st part of what he told me was a 2 part root canal. The receptionist Cindy was very nice and scheduled me for the 2nd part for the following week.

Then the Covid19 closures started. Understandably they closed their office and rescheduled me. I'm in the medical field myself so I get it. However, week after week I kept getting rescheduled and told that they're seeing emergencies/important appointments only. I'm sorry, but to me and most people, being in the middle of a root canal and finishing it up IS quite important.

I let it go but then I started having a horrible taste coming from the tooth worked on. I called Cindy the receptionist, she spoke with the doctor and he called in a rx for me for an antibiotic. Well today's April 11th almost a month later and not only have I completed the antibiotic a couple of days ago, but now the last week the tooth that was worked on hurt SO bad.

I went to brush my teeth today and I saw stars! So I left a message on the office voicemail and with Cindy on her personal line, explaining what was going on and that I needed the Dr to complete this procedure this week because I can't take the pain anymore and that if they are unwilling or unable to, to please let me know and that I will find someone else.

I was very nice on all my messages as I didn't want to tick off the person that I was asking to do work in my mouth. I didn't get a call back so I called the Dr himself as his number is stated on the office machine. Well, 1st he answered the phone like I was bothering him. Again, I don't understand this guy's attitude as I've always been super nice in ALL of my conversations and correspondence with him and his staff. Then, after explaining what was going on he stated that he would open the tooth back up and then leave it open but that he WOULD NOT complete the procedure!

I said "What? Why? I don't understand". He said "If you're in pain the only thing I will do is open it up and that's it. Don't start with me Diane I'm not going to talk to you about this". I tried asking some questions like, wouldn't leaving it open like that be bad and allow things to get in there etc, but he was so nasty and arrogant and kept saying the same thing and then told me I could go see someone else.

I said "Ok fine. Then who do I speak with about you reimbursing my insurance company because you got paid almost $800 for a procedure that you're refusing to complete and will NOT be completing at this point even if you change your mind". He said to take it up with my insurance company. Completely unbothered that he was losing a patient and that his patient was being left uncompleted and in pain.

I honestly don't understand how this guy is even still in business. I will myself be filing all types of formal complaints with the ADA, BBB, Consumer Affairs etc, but anyone else even thinking about coming to this office BEWARE and just find someone else. Needless to say I've called another office that'll gladly finish the procedure as they've stated that this IS important and should NOT have been left like this. Dentistry at it's WORST. I would give ZERO stars if I could.

I couldn't recommend Dr. Brown and his staff more highly. After struggling with a persistent and strange pain around my face and ears, Dr. Brown's assessment and treatment of TMJ resulted in almost immediate relief. The staff is attentive and caring. Treatment included several follow ups to make necessary adjustments.

I have severe dental anxiety, so needing 2 root canals on adjacent teeth was not good news. Dr Brown and his staff not only put me at ease, but never having to wait and such a relaxing pleasant atmosphere got me through it with confidence and comfort. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

I would like to take a moment to post about the absolute horrible treatment that I just received from a business within our wonderful community - It was Dr. Brown DDS - his office manager, Cindy and then by Dr. Bruce Brown, DDS HIMSELF located at 14 Roosevelt Avenue, PJS. My husband had work done there and they charged us an additional $55 for the initial consult for the work that they completed - which is usually included in the work or at the very least written off as a courtesy for having the work done.

Which I am sure you all can agree with right, especially if you completed the almost $1k of dental work and we paid the portion you needed to out of pocket, right? All of this work was preapproved and we paid our responsibility of what was owed. There was no reason given for why they were insisting on this additional amount, just that they wanted it.

I worked in medical billing in the past and something like this is almost always written off once the insurance company pays out what they will. I asked to leave a message for the Dr. for him to call my husband and she said that he won't call me back. So I said that my husband was going to stop there today since we live around the corner and she hung up the phone and put the office on service.

The service line has the dentist's cell phone # on it so I called it and explained to him the treatment and he said that he is willing to lose the patient over $55. I couldn't believe it. I was perfectly calm throughout both of these exchanges, now I was dumbfounded. I told him that I was going to post of the FB page the way I was treated and he said, 'Go right ahead, I will just delete it.

Ok so here it is. Beware of the treatment you will get from a doctor after they have been paid by both yourself and your insurance company. My husband had a root canal done there, we go to Mt Sinai Family Dental for our routine work. We will never go back to that office and I hope this helps if you are considering them.
