Horrible after care, concern for their patients & communication. Had my teeth removed & implants put in a year ago. 1st, the sutures were suppose to be dissolvable sutures but were not. Most, but not all, were removed on my 1st f/u appt. Was supposed to have someone contact me for the next appointment. DID NOT HAPPEN. Was not contacted again until my 1st year maintenance checkup. (The sutures that were not removed have been covered over by my skin) tried to explain it to the person who contacted me & was basically called a liar and i was just due for the 1st yearly maintenance. Ok, made the appointment, over a month in advance, drive 2 & 1/2 hours to get to the office to find out my appointment was cancelled by them for video taping. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE OFFICE PRIOR. Rescheduled, another month in advance, apparently only do implant maintenance on Thursday &Friday?

Again drove 2 & 1/2 hours to find again, I'm cancelled for in-service. With the current price of gas this is bull. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM PRIOR AGAIN. They know people are stuck cause by giving a discount, if anyone else work on the teeth the warranty in void. Man came in the waiting room while i was there. Said hid implant teeth were so jagged they were cutting the inside of his mouth.

I too have a jagged back tooth. Have had a lot of mouth discomfort since this procedure. Also told them my mouth was hurting. To no concern from the staff. Again, aftercare has mich to be desired. It is horrible.

Horrible service. I came in for my first appointment I waited 15 minutes ok people run behind. My second appointment I waited over 30 minutes. I asked how me longer and they just said the hygienist is running behind. What 15 minutes is behind 30 minutes or more that's another appointment. No one seemed to care not even the manager. I asked about the "late policy" she said if a patient is more than 15 minutes late they charge a late fee and reschedule.

Well I've waited over 30 minutes for your staff member what will you do for me? Nothing! My appointment was at 6pm that's late after a long work day and I have a child. My time means a lot to me and so does customer service. We have to demand that dentist and doctors stop this. Horrible I would never recommend this place.

Great customer service and communication. They let me know what each step of the procedure would be. Alejandro and Crystal (I'm sorry, I didn't hear her completely when she said her name) were wonderful, as well as the dentist.

This is a great office who definitely caters to people like me who can be nervous and uneasy about the dentist. I can not wait until I get the work done needed. I've had two visits to start some preliminary things and each time gentleness, patience, kindness and very satisfied results. Glad my insurance has them as a provider. Not just another dentist advertised on tv but they live up to their professional yet humbled status.

With all things going on in life and having a dental office who cares so much about my continued dental issues makes me feel very great! I appreciate all the great communication and friendliness when I come into the office and always have a warm welcome feeling when I have appointments!

I am a new patient and I was there only for the new patient appointment. During my appointment they told me they had availability to squeeze me in for the cleaning right after. I was grateful they were able to squeeze me in, however the cleaning felt incredibly rushed in comparison to my old dentist. She didn't brush the outside left side of my teeth, didn't floss my teeth, or put any fluoride on them at the end.

My visit to David And Associates was the best experience Ive ever had a a dentist office. Everything was explained to me in great detail and they made me feel like I was their only customer. I'll definitely have my procedure done at David And Associates.

I have been going there for a few years. Every now and then a would a an issue nothing to warrant an unfavorable review till now. Two years ago i changed my insurance and specially asked if my new insurance was in their network. I was told yes it definitely was. I was a little concerned the first time I used my new insurance because it didn't seem to cover as much as the old insurance.

I questioned it and they said the old insurance had better coverage. So dumb me took them for their word. Had my procedures done paid the crazy amount. Then this year when I went in for a broken tooth I couldn't believe how much they wanted to charge so I questioned it again after seeing my treatment plan and the cost. That's when they told me oh yeah you are out of net work so they only pay up to $2000 total I was beyond upset.

For the past two years I had taken their word while the whole time they had lied to me and happily took my money. After all that they had the nerve to ask if I want to schedule an appointment. Mind blowing how they lie and steal from their patients. I know now to always look at my insurance policy for confirmation. Lesson learned the hard and expensive way.

Incompetent staff. Front office called me asking when I was going to arrive at my appointment when I was already in the back room getting X-rays. I filled out updated paperwork at the front and had to ask the tech for a cover because I'm pregnant and know it's not good for the baby. She grabbed one for me but told me it was no big deal because she had already started without offering one. Told the doctor David I used a water pick and it knocked out my front tooth they had just placed less then a year ago and he could careless. Waited four months for a cleaning because staff told me my insurance would cover it again. Got to my appointment and they told me it was only an exam and not a cleaning. Said they could get me in if I waited another 40 minutes. Asked them how much the appointment was gonna be and they told me $200 for a cleaning. Asked what portion my insurance was covering and they didn't even know I had insurance.(again I just filled out paperwork with all that information) they looked it over another 20 minutes before telling me insurance won't cover it and they won't even attempt to call or find out. Worst dental office I have ever been to. Save your time and money. They over promise and underdeliver!

Made a consultation appt for a second opinion and was extremely pleased with it. Dr David explained the process and even the proposed treatment plan. He made sure I was comfortable and answered all the questions I had. His team has been very nice and even accommodated a last minute change, during the end of the year & holidays, they were great.

The reason for 1 star was an hour of wait for the oral surgeon to check my implant which only took 10 minutes. This is not the first time, i had to wait for 1.5 hours the last time that surgeon attended to me. I understand that they are busy attending to other patients but why do they make appointments when patients will have to wait that long. I was late at my other appointments because of this. Be prepared to wait if you decide to do dental implant with David & associate.

I had the best experience with David and Associates. They took care of me with expert care! I received the D5 installation. Talk about cutting edge technology! The entire experience was beyond excellent. From the consultation with Dr. David (who was amazing with his knowledge and his gentle care) to the procedure that was painless and completed by the most caring staff to the follow up appointments that always answered any concern or question I had.

I got cold during the procedure and the sweet Office Manager Crystal went to Walmart next door and bought me a blanket. I have never heard of any other office doing that for a patient. I highly recommend David and Associates for all of you dental needs!

Used to love this place but they are so unprofessional and unpredictable. I received temps on my back teeth and was told to use the other side of my mouth for 3 weeks until my permenats came in. The day before my appointment they canceled it and moved it 3weeks later. Meaning i will have temps in for 6 weeks. Like come on. The day before! I have completely rearranged my schedule.

Even 3 days is reasonable but the day before, is horrible and with no hurry up they scheduled me out another 3 weeks. Was told I couldn't go anywhere else because i cant have the permanents I paid for. Never again! I promise you that

My daughter had been the highest bidder on a David and Associates voucher for a fundraiser that she gave me for Mother's Day. She knew I needed some dental work and couldn't afford it. My husband and I had both suffered from some major health problems over the past few years that I am just recovering from and they resulted in high medical bills.

On top of it all, we lost a job with health insurance. When my daughter went in to pick up the voucher from David and Associates, she asked how long I had to use it and was told the voucher had no date on it purposefully and would be honored. Today, I went in to schedule an appointment with my voucher and they wouldn't honor it. They said it expired even though there is no date on it and I explained the circumstances.

My son had been a patient of Dr. David's at one time, so I had experience there and was extremely disappointed. I know there are a lot of worse problems in the world, but I didn't expect this from David and Associates.

In January of 2019, I had all of my teeth pulled, and had implants and full dentures inserted at the cost of $33,000. David and Associates contracted to do the work and maintain the dentures providing that any warranty would be void if anyone else did any work to the teeth. After locking me into a position that requires that only they can provide dental services, they have routinely failed to keep all but one of my appointments, calling days before the appointment date to cancel and reschedule.

I schedule my life activities around my appointments. To consistently fail to keep an appointment and constantly having to reschedule indicates poor management and places undue hardship on me. It seems that they've gotten the big money, they don't care about me as a customer, but they don't want me to go to someone who will provide quality care. I have asked that they refer me to someone who can maintain my teeth but they refuse to do so, yet they can't do it when they commit to.

Like the others, I wish I could give this zero or even less stars! I can relate to every negative review here! $28k, 18 months, a million miles traveled back and forth from Tampa to Jax, not to mention a million hours of my time later, and I still have broken D5 implants. Same thing. every time. every 1-7 days after receiving my "finals". bottom right breaks, the upper left breaks. EVERY TIME!

I have had so many "finals" put in my mouth that I have lost count at this point. The set I just got two weeks ago. already broke. So, I've had at least 25 sets made and not one has lasted longer than 4 weeks. I'm not sure what to do. I need to get off this hamster wheel of letting them do the same thing over and over again with no better results. but I am out 28k and can't stand the thought of having to pay someone else to fix their mistakes! Has anyone else who has had these same problems been able to resolve your issues? If so, please advise how you did it!

I would have to agree with the implant issues with this dentist. I had implants put in 2018 and it took until 2020 to get them correct and not breaking. They definitely use folks insurance and money very casually as if it is their disposable income, and not producing an effective good product. In the end you can't be nice when they mess up, and call your insurance company and make a formal complaint.

The insurance company takes these complaints serious, and will make them reimburse your money for faulty work. Then make a complaint to the Florida Dentistry Board, there is a lot folks don't know about when going to a dentist. Look at the Florida Statute which governs dentist as well, there are things that the Dentist should do and not his/her dental assistant, then they charge your insurance as if the Dentist completed the work.

Some items that the dental assistant do, by law they should not being doing, but folks don't know. In the end it is all about money and these dentist, doctors, any service industry don't give a damn about you nor your health. Your teeth are very important and at the end of the day is detrimental to your overall health. I encourage folks to be vigilant and take control of you, don't put your trust in folks just because they maybe the professional, you have been with you all of your life and know you. Utilize what is available to you to fight against what is costly bad service, and/or product.

I do think this dental offices uses the cheapest materials out there and charge as if they are using top quality, and it maybe also that their in-house lab is not trained enough or educated in the products they are offering. This dental office keeps all the money in-house, this makes for bad business, as they are very deficient on the end product and that is clear on the reviews regarding the implants. I would not suggest anyone to get implants there, only general dentistry work.

I've had a great experience with david and associates during my work with Dr. Northoek. He's professional, super helpful, caring and considers the patient and how they feel. I've had some major work done with him and smaller procedures and each time he has been amazing and made me feel much more at ease even though dental work in general terrifies me!

I have always felt like I'm in great hands and the nursing staff is also very helpful and nice. I can't recommend another doctor more then I would Dr. Nothoek for dental work and overall care! My teeth look great too!

Update on D5 implants. It's now going on 18 months since my D5 surgery and things are not any better. Since my last review I had my lower D5 break several times.18 months in I would not recommend D5 with David and associates. It is definitely a flawed product that very expensive for a average guy. I spent the money because I was led to believe that my dental problems would be over.

Far from the truth. The only thing good to say is that they look GREAT!The other thing disappointing is that when you have problems they treat you like the problem. Management will not take a call so you have to leave a message then sit for hours waiting on call that you may not get.

I am a patient of David and Associates, I have tried for 2 months to get in to see the Doctor about a cracked tooth. The front desk told me Sherry would be calling me back. She has not in two months. Now I called yesterday left a message about a screw that had come out. And as of 11/24/20 at 12:38 p.m. still no call back. I call again today and left another message. This dentist office only want your money and will only take care of you for the first year after your procedure, seems like you are not important. S.H

I am army retired, went to David and associates in 2018. I signed documents after my procedure for 2 implant, and 2 veneers. It stated your work is quranteed for 5 years. Number 7 veneers failed so I came in to have it put back on. They examined mr, cut the tooth so low, the veneer could not be put back on. The only thing they could do is put a crown on it.

They tried to charge me $1689 for a crown instead of providing the quarantee because I hadn't been back in two years. Why would I pay them when the VA provides free dental care and only after I received my implants began paying for them. The bottom line is you are probably still going there because of the Commercial, but military personnel should avoid them since you receive dental care now if retired with 100% disability. There is no quranteed service people!

I am extremely disappointed with follow up after they were paid $25,000 YES 25 Thousand Dollars. The dentists stood me up for 3 appointments where I was required to take medication & arrange for a ride home after treatment. So I took 3 unnecessary doses of drugs, bothered a friend for a ride, & the office was unapologetic. GET A SECOND OPINION! CHEAPER DEALS FOR THE SAME PROMISE THAT THEY NEVER KEPT. RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS SCAM! If I had the option to rate this NO STARS.I would.

I suggest not having absolutely anything done here unless you are 100% positive they have your insurance on file, I have been back and forth for 9 going on 10 months now trying to get a reimbursement from them simply because they didn't do their job right in the first place.

I have found my new dentist. I love this place. Wonderful people from the receptionist all the way to the dentist. My first and subsequent visits have met all my expectations. I am very pleased with my new implant and my new crown. I can't say enough positive things about David & Associates. I love Dr. Sabino.

I was surprised to see low rankings on Yelp for this practice! I had a wonderful visit today as a new patient. The only downside was one of the machines was loading slowly, so we skipped one X-ray and moved onto the next. My initial technician was friendly and had great techniques for painless xrays. My dentist was equally friendly--he took time to explain what he could see with my xrays and gave advice for future correction.

Even the woman working at the checkout was lovely. Look, when people have a bad experience they often jump to complain. Based on the full waiting room and happy clientele.the rating now might be more a reflection of the minority of disgruntled patients than the majority of satisfied customers. You be the judge. I've been to crummy dentists. This wasn't anything like I've experienced at my previous dentist groups.

They had a review on TV for a single implant for $2499. I called, and they asked if I had insurance, and I replied I yes. She then told me the advertised price was just for people who don't have insurance though the ad didn't state this. I said what difference does it make. Then I asked what the cost would be with insurance to which she replied $3500.

So basically if you have insurance the cost to you goes up $1000 for the exact same service. They just pocket the extra thousand dollars and you get no benefit from your insurance at all. Shysters.

They were dishonest with being in-network with my insurance and tried to do some bait and switch tactics to get me to pay. Luckily I was adamant about what was being covered and was able to catch this before getting a cleaning.

Beware! Do not go here! They can cancel an appointment on you without even letting you know. I got a message from them the Friday before my sons appointment saying they were looking forward to seeing him on the date and time of his appointment and when I went there they said it was cancelled because I never confirmed it. I never received a message from them asking me to confirm.

They said they called me ONCE to confirm and my phone was busy (it's my cell phone so it would have gone right to my voicemail) and I have a voicemail set up which never had a message nor did my phone show a phone call from their number. When I spoke to the Office Manager she said it's in their policy that if an appointment is not confirmed they can cancel it.

Never got anything telling me it was cancelled, just a text message saying looking forward to seeing him. Never got a text message asking me to confirm. How can I confirm if they don't ask me to confirm?! There was another woman in the office that was having the same problem! I requested my sons records and will go somewhere else!

Long wait times. I'm here and have waited over one hour and still haven't been seen. Over priced. People in the practice smoke cigarettes and it's very unprofessional for someone working in your mouth.

I went here for years, getting routine x-rays whenever they were needed. One time when I got an x-ray the nurse said she saw a gray area for one tooth but said it was probably nothing and moved on. Dentist said nothing about it so I assumed I was ok. Come a few months later, that same tooth was evaluated and needed to have a root canal done ASAP. Yet they had seen something on the X-rays before and could have prevented it.

This dentistry treats people like they're bags of money. My father went to get an estimate for implants and the lady acted very coldly, the attitude of take it or leave it. Thus, I have decided to switch to a new place because they don't deserve my business.
