Dr McCall and the rest of the team do great work and are very sociable. Explain things very well and use your photos, X-rays, and other resources to make the experience more fulfilling.

Great experience with Dr. McCall and staff. My family of four have been going here for several years now. I recommend him to anyone needing a new dentist. 5 stars.

I saw this dentist a handful of times, dental work was decent, but the last time I was in there he completely berated a new dental hygienist and yelled at her in front of me for not knowing where correct supplies were. The cavity he was repairing at the time was shoddy, I had to come back in to have it fixed (no charge, thankfully) and then found myself a new dentist.

This is the best dentist I've ever had. I only left because i had to move away for work. I've followed their advice and my teeth have never been better.

Everyone who works in this practice is first rate. Questions are answered, information is readily shared and service is prompt. Dr. McCall is also a fountain of information about restaurants, local happenings, etc. He knows and loves the area and likes to make new residents to the area feel at home.

Dr McCall and his team are awesome beyond words. When we moved back to the area one highlight was having a great dentist, even if I now drive x10 as far to see him.

I was recently in to have a filling done by Dr. McCall - I'd thought about going to a new dentist but I decided to take care of existing problems. I'm really sorry that I did - during the course of my filling, Dr. McCall became increasingly frustrated at his dental assist - he was snapping at her, barking orders and making me very uncomfortable.

At the end of the visit, he told her she need to get to the front of the building "now". "Right now" and "you're not moving fast enough." He berated a staff member in front of a customer - very unprofessional and rude. I will not be back.

Dr. McCall is hands down the best dentist I've ever had. I have sensitive teeth, and am VERY anxious in the chair due to a terrible dentist I had in NYC who messed up my teeth which led to me needing an emergency root canal. Those are painful AF. Dr. McCall is patient and really funny! He can always get me to laugh, even if I'm crying (yes I'm a grown woman and I cry sometimes at the dentist still LOL like I said, super anxious).

He always shows me what's happening in my mouth, and how he can fix it with photos and models. He's the most personable dentist I've ever had. I also don't feel like I'm being sold services I don't need, like can happen in some offices. His staff is friendly as well. I would recommend him to anyone.

I started going to Dr. McCall after moving to Raleigh in 2009. My husband chose him based on a recommendation from a coworker and the office is near our home. I've always had anxiety about going to the dentist (or any doctor in general), but Dr. McCall and his staff are wonderful. My blood pressure doesn't skyrocket when I walk in the office anymore.

The Endodontist, Dr. Shaeffer, that he referred me to was wonderful as well. Like another reviewer said, they don't lecture you about what you should be doing and they always explain procedures so I know what to expect. The staff is very personable, it's like they are just picking up where they left off in your previous conversation. They are also very prompt, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room, for the dentist or the hygienist. However, I've never felt rushed either.

I hadn't found a dentist in Raleigh yet so I just randomly picked by who was nearest my house. I'm so glad to have ended up with Dr. Mc Call! He and his staff make you feel very comfortable and don't make you feel bad about needing to floss more or finding a cavity. Dr. Mc Call also goes out of his way to explain procedures and make sure that you understand why he's recommending something.

A really friendly dentist with a good, solid staff. Kathleen is a very helpful and kind receptionist. I've never felt any discomfort, and I don't get any lectures about flossing, though of course they encourage it. I haven't had anything but routine exams, x-rays and cleanings so far, but I actually don't dread going. Procedures and issues are explained thoroughly. I first came here out of convenience, but I will now be a long-time patient after experiencing the atmosphere of Dr. McCall's office. (He's a man, by the way!)

We moved here from Tallahassee, FL and had the best ever dentist, Dr. Chichetti "che-ketti" (if you are moving THERE see HIM), and we just KNEW that when we got up here, we would have to go through dozens to find a good one. Not so. Dr. McCall and his staff are gentle, knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Dana McCall to any and all looking for a new dentist!
