I would highly recommend Drs. Stephen and Nicole Rottjakob for dentistry. I have been a patient for 2 years and I'm very happy with my experience. They always solve my dental issues in a caring, professional manner. They always make time for you when you have an urgent need. Their staff is excellent as well.

I have been a patient of the Rottjakob family for over a decade and could not recommend them more. I will never forget how Dr. Stephen treated me when I needed baby teeth removed as a kid- he walked me through everything step by step, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with respect. He truly has a gift for providing a safe, communicative environment for all his patents regardless of their age. Dr. Nicole has been a wonderful addition to the practice in recent years. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and consistent. Smile Dentistry makes me look forward to trips to the dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Rottjakob's office for a few years and am always impressed by the service and treatment I receive. Dr. Nicole and Trish are amazing! Highly recommend for anyone new to the area or looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Nicole after seeing my x-rays told me that I must do crown on a tooth that had no cavities. She said to prevent future cavities on that tooth they must do a crown. I trusted her and let them do it. On the appointment day for the crown Dr. Stephen did it! And he did crown on a tooth next to the one Dr. Nicole said needs a crown. I was numb during the process and did not realize it until I arrived home.

In the next visit to put the crown on, Dr. Nicole said another tooth, which again had no cavities needs a crown. I did not trust her this time. I took the x-rays from their office and asked two other dentists. They said none of these two teeth needed crown. They were both healthy teeth. They staff are super friendly, but the dentists? Well, you heard what happened, I let you judge yourself.

I cannot recommend Dr.'s Stephen and Nicole Rottjakob enough. They are professional, attentive and caring. Both are clearly experts at their craft. Watching the rapport they build with patients of all ages - I only wish that I started coming here as a kid so that I wouldn't have been scared to go to the dentist!

My crown fell off on Saturday night - I left a voice mail - Sunday morning Dr. Rottjakob calls me at home, and asked me to come to the office at 12:30pm Sunday so he can re-cement it. He said he didn't want his patient to be suffering though this. The office was closed at that time. He is amazing. So is Linda, Dr. Nicole and the entire staff.

A professional and caring team at Dr. Stephen & Dr. Nicole Rottjakob. I've been a patient for about 30 years and still have him as my dentist even though I live in Reno Nevada.

I live in Los Banos California now, it's an hour & a half away from the Rottjakob practice but I still make the trip for all their dental knowledge & to say hi to all of their wonderful staff. I will be 80 years old this coming spring & as long as I'm able to make the trip, they will be my dentist.

Dr Rottjokob's office is so professional- from the front desk to all the employees. The dental hygienists are excellent and knowledgeable in the work they do. Dr Rottjokob is a wonderful dentist and I completely trust his advice. I have been using his practice for years.

My family and I have have been seeing Dr. Rottjakb on twice a year schedule for the past 30 years. That alone should say it all. But no, I'll elucidate anyway. Friendly, personable, courteous, professional and proactive, are applicable adjectives for this dental practice. But more than even those virtues, it's the progressive state of the art dentistry and care that always produces a PAINLESS experience for my family and I.

And if that's not enough there are now two Dr. Rottjakb's. S. Rottjakb daughter, Dr. Nicolle Rottjakb has joined the practice. In describing Nicole allow me to apply a much used euphemism: "The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree." The best dental care in San Jose. Everyone here is very nice and accommodating with our schedules. I usually like to schedule my appointment and my 2 children's back to back so I only have to make one trip. As my dental hygienist was finishing up, some old, and very "ancient" bonding came off. This was done long before I started seeing Dr. Rottjakob. In no time Dr. Nicole Rottjakob came to the rescue and did an excellent job of replacing my damaged front tooth with new bonding.

Dr. Nicole Rottjakob will give you the best dental care for your teeth and gums and for maintaining a healthy mouth. Dr. Nicole is an outstanding dentist in all respects.

I was referred last fall to Dr. Rottjakob by a friend who spoke very highly of both him and his daughter, Dr. Nicole. My first appointment was for some pain I was experiencing in one tooth. Dr. Rottjakob took a couple X-rays and then took almost an hour to explain in exquisite detail what the X-rays showed, what the possible causes were, and the pros and cons of various actions that might be taken, including the financial costs and the possible risks to the tooth.

I was extremely impressed! Ultimately, his advice was confirmed and the endodontist he referred me to was able to save the tooth and resolve the problem. Dr. Rottjakob has the latest diagnostic equipment, and I really appreciate that he always explains what he is doing and why. He patiently and thoroughly answers all my questions. Dr. Nicole also did a routine checkup on me and was similarly terrific -- thorough, friendly, and really professional, finding latent problems that were missed by my previous dentist. Linda and the others in the front office greet me like a long-time friend, yet are very efficient. Overall, I am impressed thus far and intend to continue as their patient.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, about 30 years now! I can't say enough good things about the entire team. Everyone is super personable and I always feel like I'm getting much more care than just my teeth cared for. Every cleaning is very thorough and Trish and Lori are the best all around! I feel like they and Dr. Rottjakob and Dr. Nicole always go above and beyond. The new office is also very spa-like with lots of natural light coming in so each visit is almost like a mini escape from my family life haha.

I've been seeing Dr. Rottjakob for some time and have been very happy. Recently, he fitted me with a crown that I needed for one of my front teeth. Dr. Rottkajob was very emphatic that he wanted the color to get just right, and since the tooth is at the front of my mouth, he sent me to Annie at the California Dental Arts in Cupertino, where they create the crown so they can get the color exact. Dr. Rottkajob explained that when the crown comes in, he wanted me to be absolutely sure that the color is perfect.

When the crown came in, it still needed a slight adjustment in color, so I went back to the lab, and Annie made the color adjustment to perfection; I went shopping for two hours while the color was baked in, and I was then ready to return to Dr. Rottkajob's office for the final cementing. The crown is perfect, and I couldn't be happier. I'm grateful that Dr. Rottkajob insisted on perfection, which is exactly what I wanted!

They have the best hygienists. However Dr Rottjakob can very mean to the kids. He kept on blaming all the problems to the my kids. And last time he asked us to do some treatment on my kids' teeth which costed almost a thousand dollars that will protect my kids' teeth from cavity for at least one year. In less that 3 months, he found cavities in my kids' teeth and again he just simply blamed everything on my kids.

Thank you so much to the staff here who is incredibly personable, welcoming, communicative, and kind. I would highly recommend this clean, timely, and effective team to anyone. I was able to make an appointment easily at a time that worked for me. The checking process was simple and mindful of health and well-being measures, as was the entire visit.

Dr. Rottjakob and his staff are excellent! They make going to the dentist as painless as possible and their upbeat attitude and demeanor are appreciated.

I highly recommend this location. The clinic provided superior customer service and an excellent dental cleaning visit. I felt safe with the Covid-19 precautions they took and I was impressed with their state of the art technology.

I don't normally enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr. Rottjakob and his team is special. I was way overdue for cleaning back then, but Laurie took care of my teeth and now they're in great shape. Laurie is attentive, friendly, and detail-oriented in her work. I can't recommend her enough. I enjoy Dr. Stephen's personality - he talks (and works) fast and is very animated. Dr. Nicole is cool too and has great work ethic.

All in all they have a solid team who's knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. I'm moving out of state and will miss going to Dr. Rottjakob's. Also, they just moved to a new office which looks awesome!

Great staff. They care about their patients. I have been going there over 20 years. The real test of a professional is their response when something goes wrong. They ordered me a custom fit nightguard which had issues. They worked with the vendor until I was satisfied. Their attitude was that they wouldn't be happy until I was happy. Covid measures were in place at today's visit.

I've been coming here for the last 2 years and always have a positive experience. From booking to the actual visit, everything is handled in a friendly and professional manner. Today my cleaning was performed by Trish and she was amazing. I started by telling her about areas of sensitivity and she was extremely careful to make sure I was not in any pain. She has such a pleasant personality and explained everything very well. Dr. Nicole is always great as well. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing business. Dr. Rottjakob takes the time to really get to know you and make sure that you are both informed and confortable. Like a lot of people, going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing. That said, this place really does an amazing job. It's the first dentist I've had where I actually really look forward to going!

This place is great! I always feel that I'm not just another patient when I come here because the staff is always so friendly and welcoming and you can tell they really care about you. They always remember things I told them from my previous visit. Reminds me of those lifelong friends you have but haven't talked to in awhile but when you do you pick up right where you left off!

In addition to the wonderful staff, they're all really great at what they do and go out of their way to make you as comfortable and pain free as possible. Like most people, I've never been thrilled to go to the dentist but the level of care and service this place provides to their patients makes it way less of dread to go. I just went to Dr Rottjakob's office today for the first time, and I think I've found my dentist for life. Dr. Rottjakob's daughter Nicole just finished dental school a few years ago, but had she not told me, I would have had no idea. The equipment they use is more advanced than many other dentistries I've been to, and the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I truly look forward to my next visits! Highly recommend considering Dr (Nicole) Rottjakob to be your family dentist!

After our previous dentist moved out of state, my husband and I recently changed to Dr. Steve Rottjakob, at Smile Dentistry, in the Via Valiente Plaza, close to Leland and Bret Harte schools. His staff were very nice and have worked with him for years. His equipment is more modern than the younger dentist whom we previously had. Steve's daughter Nicole finished Dentistry School in 2016 and joined his practice. 5 star reviews.

Like many, dentists are NOT my favorite places. This team changed my mind! So much so, my son now changed to Dr. Rottjakob and his amazing team. They don't criticize what "went on" with your teeth, but rather how to get the best smile with what you have. All positive conversations and positive solutions. BEYOND 5 STARS!

Had my first visit and it was great! All of Dr. Stephen's staff are friendly, caring and all round awesome people. The whole process with them from booking an appointment to the visit and beyond was smooth, highly recommended if you do not have a preferred dentist!

I found Dr Rottjakob via. Yelp and though I am trusting on dining finding medical professionals in Yelp was a new experience for me. I must say Yelpers have it right. Dr Rottjakob and his staff have been great. I gave had several procedures done there. They are very professional and quite prompt and always friendly. Also prices are comparible, I believe.
