The dentist & hygienist did a great job. They explained to me I need done in a way I understood with my I.L.S worker. They gave me a great exam and cleaning. They were very helpful, friendly, understanding, carrying, patient & nice. I would recommend them to my family & friends %100. The hygienist explained how I need to floss my teeth to keep my gums and teeth healthy too. That's important to me. I am very happy with them.

Dr. Johnson was extremely thorough and took time to listen to my concerns. I left the dental office feeling hopeful. I say hopeful because I have dental issues which causes me not to be a candidate for many treatments. Kelly the hygienist was amazing too. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and gave me advice on the areas I really need to give extra attention to when brushing and flossing. All of the staff was pleasant and made me feel welcome.

I have to say Centennial Lakes Dental Group has been my dental provider for over 40 years. They have been kind and treated me like family. My family has gone to them four generations as well. I had to have a crown done recently and when I entered the office I was welcomed by Brenda who had to listen to the workmen drilling in the office below and yet was able to laugh and be ever so welcoming through it all.

I was also brought in to the office and Dr Brettigan was more than professional his assistant and I have to say just the kindest and sincere person asked if I needed anything was helpful and both worked so hard on getting my crown right the technology was amazing to see and all in the same day. My apologies as I have trouble recalling names for all these years I have been happy to go to the dentist and felt so completely comfortable they explained everything and put me at ease and I would highly recommend them.

I also wanted to thank everyone who has treated me over the years as I have had a few issues with my teeth and they have been wonderful. I recommend this clinic highly professional and helpful when my insurance changed helped me to stay with their clinic as well because I had been a patient for so many years I did not want to leave them. I want to express how wonderful the clinic is and next to the beautiful Centennial Lakes Park.

Our dentist of 40 years retired In 2021, so we had to find a new dentist! After lots of searching and reading reviews we decided to try Centennial Lakes Dental last spring. We have been very impressed with how friendly and professional the office staff, dental hygienists and our dentist Dr Shand have been. They made a difficult transition easy!

Being one who had rather traumatic experiences with dentists as a child, I've been extremely selective in finding a dentist office I trust and feel comfortable with. After my appointment yesterday with Dr. Johnson and Spencer (dental assistant) I can say with certainty I have found a dentist office I feel very good about. I was scheduled for a routine cleaning, but also had a filling that needed attention.

Not only did they provide the best teeth cleaning I've ever experienced, but they also made time to replace my filling. Using the latest techniques and technology, they took care of all my dental needs in a relaxing and painless manner, which is extremely important to me. -they also took impressions for teeth whitening at my request. Dr. Johnson, Spencer and their team are very professional and very accommodating! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist office they can trust and feel confident in. 5 STARS PLUS!

Went in for my first appointment and it was a very pleasant experience. People there are nice, engaging, and very friendly. Dr. Johnson and his assistant Spencer are amazing. They are very knowledgeable, explained every step in details, made me feel welcome and comfortable, and are super nice people. I'll definitely keep coming back and recommend this place to anyone I can!

I am very happy with the visit I had today with a wonderful treatment. I went there to done my regular cleaning and I'm so happy and very thankful with Julie with a very well job she done to me. She was very professional and Kindness. She was amazing!

Person who cleaned my 89-year-old mother's teeth could not have been nicer and more gentle than she was, making it a pleasant experience. There are other hygienists there too that my mom and dad saw for many years and now my mom still goes there. Great experience, as always! Going again!

Best dentist I have had, hands down! Dr Shand and his assistant Mikayla are always so personable, so welcoming, and make appointments go by quickly. The receptionists are always so friendly and work with me to get appointments for times that work with MY schedule. Dr Shand truly cares about his patients and their well-being. Highly recommend! 10/10

Taking care of me since adolescence, this is easily the best dental group I've ever been too, from Dr. Shand to the amazing receptionists like Brenda this is just a place where you feel welcome and like all your concerns are heard. There's a reason I'm almost 30 and have continued to see them. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else! They've definitely helped out in some tough situations where I had no idea what to do.

Both professional and friendly, I second Centennial Lakes Dental Group. I find Doctor Shand and his team appeasing, considerate, thorough and professional. I highly recommend them. I always took my toddler with me as I got the work done, so it was then easy for him to come to his first appointment when his first teeth appeared. They made sure he had a good time while communicating really well with him about what was to happen. As a result my son felt at ease from the very start.

I've been going to Centennial Lakes Dental since before I can remember. I am now 38 and can honestly say they are as good as they've ever been. My two sons are 4th generation patients there as well. They do great work and are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Yesterday, I had a root canal procedure with Dr. Johnson. It was my 2nd procedure (root canal) in a month. Dr. Johnson performed the 1st one too. His meticulous attention to detail was most appreciated and he and his DH paid very careful attention to how I was doing during both procedures. Both procedures were flawlessly executed and after both of them I had ZERO pain and required no analgesics at all.

I am a Neurologist and I understand pain and was very grateful to experience none, during or after. I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for several years, but never required any extensive dental work. I'm glad he is considerably younger than I, as I plan to use his services for the rest of my life. If I could give him a 6-star review, I would.

The staff are top notch. Very concerned about patient safety and comfort. Dr Johnson works with people to deliver the needed work and in a timely fashion. They are doing a great job caring for my teeth.

I have been going to Centennial dental group for a number of years and can honestly say it is the best dental group I have ever used. They are all friendly and professional. They are willing to work with you on larger expenses. Jade, hygienist, remembered some things I had told her nine months before so we could discuss. Dr. B is great. I can't say enough good things about this office.

Today I have met Dr Johnson and Spencer at the Centennial Lakes Dental Group Office. Both Dr Johnson Spencer did able to help me and share their knowledge for all my needs and able to answer all my questions. They are always explaining me every steps of the process they do for examination on my first visit, making me feel comfortable on their work.

And they did able to help me for my cleaning on my first visit as well. Both Dr Johnson and Spencer are very friendly and knowledgeable as well as the other staff who helped me today. Thank you!

I love this dentist's office because every single one of them make you feel like family. Everyone from the receptionist staff to the hygienists and dentist's themselves are very personable and easy to talk to. I see Dr. Baumgartner and she's awesome! It helps that the location is gorgeous - right along Centennial Lakes in Edina, next to plenty of shops and entertainment.

Highly recommend walking around the man-made lake and exploring if it's warm enough and seeing what the area has to offer. There's a cafe on the main floor of the building it's located in. Haven't tried the coffee or bakery items but it looks good. If you're a new patient they give you a choice between an electric toothbrush or teeth whitening - highly recommend the whitening if you have an event coming up. It's also well worth it because you can purchase refills of the whitening for only $25.

Not bad. My only gripe with this place was an insurance issue that happened on my 3rd visit at the beginning of last year - for some reason, one of my preventative visits was charged. Apparently my insurance had changed and they didn't tell me at the front desk that it was out-of-network, thus the charge for a cleaning. I wish they would have told me up front before billing me or at least taken care of the bill - since it doesn't make sense to have to pay for a preventative visit with insurance - in network or not. Regardless, I bit the bucket and just paid it.

My insurance has changed again in 2020 and the front desk told me it's in-network now so I "shouldn't be charged." Let's see if my next visit gets a bill in a few months. I will update my review then.

I was going to go to them for a crown, but the receptionist was extremely rude and they would not see me for a crown, even though I have xrays, without me going in on a separate day for a new patient exam I didn't need. Luckily, I called the Centennial Lakes in Golden Valley and they were very polite and able to accomodate this request--and do both on the same day.

They really are the best dentist I've ever used. They are very professional, very friendly and you always feel very welcomed and well looked after. I totally agree with the previous post about Dr. Freeman's bed side manners and professionalism and Lacy (who helped me)! Thank you to guys!

Great organization, well organized, and Colleen is wonderful. Dr. Freeman has a great chair-side manner, and they both quickly demonstrate that they are looking out for his/their patients. They almost make it fun to open one's mouth for extended periods of time, while others peer in your mouth. Almost.
