Dr Burton and Staff, specifically Beverly, are top notch. Always on time, efficient and quick. If you are new to Brentwood or Nashville, I highly recommend their Dental business. Also centrally located.

I went in for my teeth to be cleaned as a new patient. It was over $250 for the comprehensive exam and 6 x-rays which did not include the cleaning. The initial cost of cleaning was quoted at one price. After the exam, the hygienist then said that more work was necessary and now the cleaning was going to be over $800. I sought a second opinion at another office.

The second dentist said that a regular deep cleaning was all that was necessary saving me considerable time, PAIN and money. I would not recommend this office as it is apparent that the need for increased revenue far exceeds their ethical obligation to do only what is necessary for the patient.

Our entire family are patients of dr. Burton. He is kind, knowledgeable and a great dentist. We are thankful to have found him many years ago.

The office staff are always nice. Although I forgot my appointment, they called to remind me. I asked if I could still come and they said yes. Altina was my hygienist today. She was thorough and also gave me some good advice- get a waterpik! I will. Thanks MFD!

I have had a lot of restoration work done here and not only does it look great but my teeth have never fit better. No gaps/food catches.

I love this dentistry practice! Going to the dentist isn't something most people look forward to, but everyone here is kind and welcoming. They do a great job with my dental work and I walk away feeling superb every time.

I went for a routine teeth cleaning only to discover that the hygienist had not been vaccinated, therefore subjecting me too possible COVID-19 without informing me of the situation. I discovered in a conversation with her after she was well into the cleaning of my teeth. Further, I was required to request another hygienist who had been completely vaccinated. In addition, I had to wait an additional 40 minutes.

Just completed my second visit to MFFD, and once again received wonderful care from Altina, Dr. Hartman and the entire team! Maryland Farms Family Dentistry is a team of welcoming, competent folks who go the extra mile to educate you on the health of your teeth and possible treatment plans to improve your smile. I highly recommend them!

I sort of missed two years of going to the dentist due to some trauma from breaking my jaw. Altina, one of their amazing dental hygienists, has seen me over the past year. She has not only helped me improve my dental cleaning regiment, she also has helped me feel comfortable and anxiety-free when I'm in the chair. She listened to my fears and has ensured each appointment is calm, informative, and lighthearted. I guarantee to be a constant regular with my dental appointments because of the caring team at Dr. Burton's office!

Saw Dr Hartman today for the first time. Though going to the dentist is never exactly fun, Dr Hartman and all the staff made it a pleasant experience. I'm glad I found a great dentist close to home to care for my family!

Great first experience with this Dentistry. All of the staff I encountered were wonderful including Beverly, Beth, April, etc. Dr. Hartmann took great care of my dental issue and I was in and out of their office with no long wait. Thank you so much!

Been visiting this practice for probably 20 years. They are always so nice and work is great. Recent visit was an emergency and they fit me straight in. I hate getting dental work and they are always so patient and gentle, really care if you're comfortable. Front office staff is awesome too.

From the moment you call to set an appointment to walking into a friendly helpful and professional staff you were treated with kindness and professionalism. It is important to note that through the pandemic they have maintained airtight best practice is to ensure everyone safety. I never thought I would say going to the dentist was a fun experience. Everyone in this office is always so wonderful and welcoming! The best dentist office I've been to! Dr. Portis is attentive and probably the nicest man you'll come in contact with. If you're someone who's afraid of going to the dentist, I can't recommend this place enough! They're also extremely clean, hygienic and professional. 10's across the board!

It was a basic cleaning. Nothing special but I had some concerns and he sent me to another specialist. Basically spent 200 dollars to talk to this doctor who said he wouldn't treat my case and wanted me to to to ANOTHER Dr. Ughh Also the lady who cleaned my teeth was nice but decided it was appropriate to talk about religion while I have tools in my mouth.

Lucky me.got to hear about the Brentwood Baptist Church and their programs, while getting my teeth cleaned. I'm non-religious and it was kinda weird and little uncomfortable. I won't be back.

I had a great experience on my first visit. Their professional staff provided a thorough cleaning and evaluation, and made sensible recommendations for a few teeth issues (without the up-selling I've experienced at my previous dentist office).

I have been going to see them for my entire life. Grew up going as a child with my family and now I take my young children there too. They are so awesome and even entertained my children once they were done with their visit while I was still finishing up with mine.

All 7 of us attend and love it-they're great with our young kids as well as our teens. We are always well cared for and in a timely manner! Highly recommend!

The staff at Maryland Farms Family Dentistry is great. I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile because it makes me anxious but Altina Sala put me at ease and did a super job cleaning my teeth. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough positive things about Maryland Farms Family Dentistry! The staff are all so friendly and put you immediately at ease. Dr. Portis is THE BEST! And all of the hygienists are amazing. I can't recommend highly enough!

It's rare that I leave a negative review as I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I've never had such a bad experience with a dentist in my life. First, they charged us $150 for a basic cleaning that is covered with our insurance, regardless of in or out of network. We filed a claim with the insurance and they let us know we should not have been charged. They're supposedly refunding us but I haven't seen it come through yet.

All along they told me they are in network with Cigna. I called Cigna and they told me they are not in network and never have been. When they told me I needed 3 fillings I asked for an estimate before scheduling the appointment and I was given an estimate of $200. I was okay with that so I scheduled the appointment. When I left that day I paid the $150 they asked for.

I was surprised it was less than my estimate but I didn't ask any questions. A week or so later in the mail I got a bill for $630. Because they're not in network, I'm having to pay over $800 for fillings that could've been written off if they'd told me correctly beforehand that they weren't in network. Their staff, particularly Sharon, was extremely rude to me on the phone, asking me "What I want them to do about it" and had no sympathy for the fact that I don't have hundreds to pay for dental work lying around. If you want a kind staff who doesn't misinform you and charge you bogus amounts of money I would NOT go here.

(Maryland Farms Dentistry) MFD made the whole dentist visit experience more tolerable. I'm a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist. However, the friendly staff and Dr. Cochran took some of my woes away. The office is HIGH tech! Beautifully decorated, super sterile, t.v.'s at each station, stations are private, text reminders, and high tech dental gear!

I visited MFD for over 7 years! The only reason I stopped going was because I moved to TX. And Dr. Cochran was even kind enough to personally refer me to three dentists in TX. I selected one from the referral list and am very pleased.

Great Dental Practice. I moved to Nashville last year and had to find a dentist. Dr Portis came highly recommended. After having been to one dentist for over 30 years it was a huge change but Dr Portis and his staff made the transition seamless in quality, attention, comfort and care provided. I would recommend Maryland Farms Dental group to all.

Dr. Burton is the best dentist I have ever been to see. The entire facility is state of the art and spotless. I have a great experience from beginning to end every time I go to the dentist now. If you are looking for knowledgable, courteous, and reasonably priced dental care.this is your place. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so friendly, kind, and helpful. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very knowledgable and happily answered all of my questions. I went here after another dental office tried to rip me off and this office was the opposite. they didn't try to charge me for services I did not need and the prices were very fair. So happy I found this place!
