The staff and doctor are committed to quality through continuing education in all phases of orthodontics. Our entire staff completes HIPAA, OSHA and CPR classes each year.
For Dr. Gregory A. Johnson, being an orthodontic specialist has been rewarding and exciting. One of the greatest joys of orthodontics has been to watch the personalities of our patients transform as their orthodontic treatment progresses. To me, this profession is part artistic impression and part science.
Hi, my name is Sara. I have been with Avon Orthodontics since 1998. I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. I am also a Lab Technician, which I have received certifications in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Appliance Fabrication. In addition, I have received certifications in soldering and the use of the Biostar and Ministar machines.
We can help you achieve the smile you deserve and the smile you have always wanted! No matter what age, if you have an appreciation for the self-confidence a winning smile can bring, we can help. Our quality will be reflected in your smile. But first, you need to know some facts about our office! Most people seeking orthodontic treatment have other important obligations during the day, usually work or school. When active treatment begins, each patient is seen every few weeks, and some of these appointments may conflict with work or school schedules.

I was just back in the office with my son for his checkup. We waited to go back and they dental technicians are all there to help adjust the braces and make the changes. So the appointments usually are quick. Then the Dr will stop by to review and mention any items in regards to the teeth. I luckily found out my son was progressing well and will most likely only need another 9 months. The new office is very nice and they had cookies back out for my son to eat after his appt.

My son has been seeing Dr. Johnson since he was 6. We knew his mouth was too small. The Dr. Is great they will advise on what treatment you most likely will need to correct your or your child's Orthodontic needs. They also can run a full treatment estimated cost and will verify your coverage with insurance. Then you will know how much your cost will be.
My son has been monitored for the past 4 years as they waited for the right time to extract some permanent teeth an put in spacers. The office staff are all very helpful and I haven't had to wait too long to have my Son examined. The braces technically won't be put on for a while but I thus far have been extremely happy with Avon Orthodontics. More updates as time goes on.
