The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry has suggested that your child's first dental visit should occur before the age of one. Children's Dental Center provides adolescent and children's dentistry services to patients in the Georgia area. We place an emphasis on preventative and restorative care, including children's orthodontics and IV sedation (sleep dentistry) for nervous patients. Your child's primary teeth are vital for chewing, speaking, and smiling, not to mention holding the space for unerupted permanent teeth.
Not every child is blessed with perfectly-aligned teeth. In addition to preventative and restorative dental care, Children's Dental Center is also focused on providing children's orthodontics in Acworth, Georgia. Our pediatric dentists work closely with our on-site orthodontists, so your child or teen can receive complete dental care in our offices.
Oral surgery can sound scary, but with the qualified team at Children's Dental Center, it doesn't have to be. Our team can perform oral surgeries on both children and adults, providing gentle, reassuring care throughout the entire surgery process. We understand that this process can make some patients, especially children, nervous, but we're here to put your mind at ease and ensure the operation goes smoothly. For most procedures, we use local anesthesia to numb the teeth and gums, but we also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and IV sedation.

Always an Amazing, personable experience They are so gentle & patient with my boys (Ages 6 & 1 years old). The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Starting to feel a bit like Family The atmosphere is always so calming, family-oriented, clean, and Welcoming. They are flexible & always seem to accommodate. We cannot get enough of their Free redeemable coupons for the kids as a reward for NO CAVITIES!
It encourages my 6-year old to keep up with his dental hygiene, and serves as a good reminder for me as Parent-to-child for maintaining such. We cannot get enough of the trains above, and the beautiful fish tank Their facility deserves a 5-star rating Much Love from The Hendley Family

It was our first visit and my daughter loves the train theme there. Most especially the train the goes across the track right above you head she really though that was fun! More importantly she always has a rough time when visiting dentist (3 years old) The staff here did a great job with their suggestions and was able to get her teeth cleaned! They were very caring as to not make it a traumatic experience for here and I truly appreciate it. I'm so thankful to have found such a 5 star pediatric dentist that goes above and beyond to make your child comfortable. Thanks

I love Children's Dental but on this last visit not so much. My son needs to get some permanent teeth extracted and after my orthodontist sent a referral to get permanent teeth removed we went in yesterday for a consult. Appt lasted an hour and when I went to schedule his extraction I was told that he needs another consult because the dentist he was scheduled with didn't extract permanent teeth. what?
So now we have to wait till Feb for another consult. Same building, same company but apparently no one shares info so I will be charged for 2 consults, not to mention wasted time since I have to leave work to get to these appointments. Not a happy camper. No apologies for wasted just, "it's a process to get you to the right person", more like a process to double charge insurance.

I've shared a review before but I really want to highlight how great the staff at this center is. From the front desk to the back. My son has autism and gets scared even for a simple cleaning. Mrs. Robin was and continues to be so wonderful In calming his fears. I love how they have a quiet room to put him in and she talks him through every single step.
I wish I knew the guys name who also helped him, he's great as well! This clinic is very welcoming and kind. I travel 45 minutes to bring them here because they truly are an amazing dental office!

I switched my kids' dental practice for the sake of convenience a few years ago. The location couldn't be better for me and I loved all the great reviews. However, since then my kids and I have fallen in love with the staff. The office staff is always kind and accommodating and all the hygienists are so wonderful with the kids! However, the experience that took the absolute cake for me was when I dropped in just before close on a Tuesday concerned because my daughter had taken a bump to the teeth while wrestling with her brother.
The hygienist was very calming and gentle with my daughter who panicked she would lose a tooth. In just a three minute unscheduled visit the hygienist did more to calm my daughter (and me) than I thought possible. She scheduled us for X-rays the next day and she was there at the desk when we checked in and went out of her way to reassure my daughter it was just "pictures" and not to worry.
Everything turned out great and we were guided calmly through the whole thing. A google review doesn't do the experience justice. She went above and beyond and as a result my 8yo still loves going to the dentist!

We have had the best experience here! Each visit from check in to check out we have been treated with kindness and respect. My 3 year old daughter got her first real cleaning today and the hygienist, Robin, did an amazing job. My daughter was calm during the whole cleaning due to Robin's kind, fun presence. You can tell she absolutely loves her job. We are very impressed by the entire staff and would highly recommend Childrens Dental Center to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.
