Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care

Brought my son for a tooth extraction and could not have asked for a better experience. He was VERY nervous and scared and always has lots of questions for the dentist/doctor and our dentist here was beyond helpful and amazing. He got the extraction done and my son barely realized it was happening. Would HIGHLY recommend this dentist to anyone looking for one. The nurse was amazing as well. All around great experience.

They took great care of my son regarding his tooth extraction (or wiggle as they call it in children friendly language). Dr. Sprague took time to explain all of my concerns regarding conscious sedation in great detail and made me feel very comfortable. I was on the fence about it because of all the horror stories I've read about regarding dental tragedies. Dr. Sprague's assurance and taking time to explain every detail was the reason I decided to go ahead and have my son get the procedure in office. Dr. Richards performed the procedure on my son along with his assistant Delaney, they were great! Dr. Richards was also very engaging with my son, my husband and I.

I really appreciated the warm friendliness that he gave. The treatment coordinator Sara was also wonderful as she took time to answer and address my concerns many times over the phone days prior to my son's procedure. She was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. During my son's procedure I received at least four updates, which was very comforting.

They were fast and efficient! The treatment that my son and my family received at this dental office made me very comfortable and pleased. My children will continue to go to Sylvania Pediatric Dentist for their needs. For any parents out there that are very cautious, I highly recommend Sylvania Pediatric Dental!

Told us worst case scenario for bill and then surprise another $750. And crown fell off right away. Had to go to another dentist. Other work they did also looked horrible.

This is a great dentist office! Just took my two year old and what I thought was going to be a stressful visit was actually very easy and my daughter loved our dental assistant Courtney. She made her experience fun and tearless! I would definitely recommend. We also got a new client gift that includes a book and a T-Shirt.

My daughter had her first dentist appt today and I can't thank this office enough for how well everything went! She was so comfortable and they even gave her a little welcome bag which was the icing on the cake for her! We will be recommending to all our friends and family and she will certainly be a long term patient. Thank you!

Dr. Courtney Greenwood is such a genuinely amazing dentist. She's one of the good ones. We couldn't be more appreciative of her bedside manner and over all care of our son while we went through a very difficult time of having him undergo dental surgery. She took the time before and after the procedure to answer any and all questions kindly and lovingly.

I would also love to give a shout out to all of the hygienists we encountered here every single one of them were so sweet! Sarah in the office who I believe sets up the appointments for procedures, also took over 30 mins to talk to me about my concerns over the phone and was also so kind and loving and comforting! We believe this team did what's best for our son and truly appreciate their hearts in all of this going through something so big with our little guy. Can't thank them enough!

The dentist and his wife are seriously amazing and I'm not just saying that they have gone above and beyond for my boys I couldn't thank you and your staff enough good people good company amazing with the kids better then anywhere else.

We've been going here since my kids were little. This is their favorite dentist! The staff and dentist are great!

The visit start out fabulous. The dental hygienist we had was phenomenal. The Dentist came in and said my child had a couple cavities he would like to fill, I was agreeable until I spoke with the care coordinator. She lacked empathy. She initially told me that I could not be in the room during the fillings. That changed when I said we wouldn't be following through then.

Next I asked what the dentist and hygienist do to help toddlers if they are frightened during the fillings since they use laughing gas and don't sedate. Her response to me was " well your child will be aware of everything that's going on because she will be awake". I tried to explain to her that doesn't answer my question then the coordinator for an attitude.

I called the next day and said we won't be back and explained why. They must have relayed the message to the coordinator because she called me and left a voicemail stating "I'm sorry you didn't understand what I was saying ". Complete lack of customer service.

My children loved this dentist but when it comes to billing and payments, obsolutely terrible. I paid for an appointment prior to my daughter having her dental work done so her dad could take my debit card to get our son food while they waited for us to get done. Guess I should have paid after service because when I called to schedule her next appointment they told me I had a balance that wasn't paid.

After arguing that it was paid they told me they would not see her until it was paid which would be the 2nd time I would have paid for the services. We my daughter needs emergency dental work so I called and was just going to pay it, mind you I NEVER received a bill. They told me it was sent to collections but I could still pay the bill on the phone, they just won't see her back in their office. That was not the only time I had billing issues there. I've never received a bill from that office or a discharge letter.

I highly recommend! First time taking my 4 year old son to the dentist, he was a bit nervous but the minute we walked in we were amazed. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Brittany took such good care of my little guy she is explained step by step, joked around, gave him a goody bag she is a pro for sure! Ohhh and they have an arcade room with all kinds of games my son didn't want to live! We won't go anywhere else! Thank you!

Sylvania Pediatric Dental was my dentist growing up, so when it was time for my son's first dentist appointment, I didn't hesitate to take him here. I love going to the dentist, and it's because I had consistent and good experiences at the dentist growing up. Five stars, would highly recommend.

We were new to the area when our youngest needed emergency dental work. We got a fantastic recommendation to visit this pediatric dentist. My kids and I love this place! The arcade completely brings down the nervousness they may have when coming to the doctor. Everyone is so nice, friendly and makes the kids feel as comfortable as possible. When the children have a procedure done in the office the provide updates on how the kids are doing as well has give a thorough run down of the costs associated with the procedure. Very transparent.

This is a great location. This place is where I wish I went when I was a child. There is a free game room and rewards machine for kids and TV's for kids. My daughter is three and had the best time here and didn't even freak out. She cried that we were leaving.
