Dental Excellence

Great place to be for your dental care. From the minute you step into that building you are greeted by the sweetest lady at the front desk, Naomi. The atmosphere is really nice, but the best is the care and professionalism of the doctor Nate and his assistant Livia, I bet the other workers are great too but these guys took care of my teeth. They are very gentle, caring and fun to be around.

I appreciate that they explain and show on the screen every single step of the procedure. They are very carefull and detailed in their work, not rushing but concentrating to do a quality job. So far is the best experience I had in a dental office. (P.s. Thanks for the Johnny Cash music in the background, loved it!)

Quite Happy with my Dental appointment and oral care I received yesterday at Dental Excellence! Had my gums measured and Dr exam - it's comforting to have confident and caring staff that truly do try to make each visit personal and attentive. I prefer open and chill personalities - it helps me talk about my oral concerns readily. I'm grateful they are such a place Thank you Debi for yet another awesome teeth cleaning experience .

Wasted a lot of time because they mistakenly told me they took my insurance over the phone. Filled out a whole form and waited 10-15 on the day or my appointment, before being told they actially didnt. The receptionist was kind and sent me a list of offices that WOULD, so I greatly appreciated that.

The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Naomi at the front counter was polite and helpful. I had an exam done and then had some fillings changed out. It's almost been a week now and I love the way the work I had done. My teeth feel better and look better. The only thing I can say is I wish I would have done this sooner. Going to the dentist is not on the top of my list of "favor things to do" but this was a very enjoyable experience and I didn't feel pressured that I needed extra work done. I was also not made to feel bad about my dental hygiene. I have a cleaning scheduled and this will be where I have my dentistry done going forward. I recommend these guys.

I had a crown fall off and they made room for me in quickly. Great dentist and great staff. All in all rather enjoyable, you know, for a dental appointment. I would recommend them, they live up to their name.

Great dentist in a great office. I've gone here for many years and was concerned when a new dentist came in, but Dr Repta's really good. He's thorough and careful and concerned for the well-being of his patients. He's also the best shot giver ever.

We were able to get scheduled quickly for an extraction. Dr. Repta is great with kids and my 8yr old daughter said she felt no pain at all. He also gave a thorough explanation of the possible risks. Highly recommend, clean office and friendly staff.

This is such an accommodating and caring dentist office. The receptionists have been wonderful to work with, the hygienists are very thorough and knowledgeable, and this is my favorite dentist I have ever had.

Dr. Johnson is the best dentist around! Been going here over a decade, and always pleased with the results. Very honest, don't have to worry about being charged for something you don't need. I hope I never move, cause I'll have to change for my dentist! Would recommend and refer anyone who is looking for a new dentist. Excellent staff, quick, efficient, kind. Never disappoints!

I have had the best experiences with Dr. Johnson and his staff for many years now. I had had some bad experiences with dentists in the past and am so grateful to a friend for referring me to Dental Excellence. Following the need for some crowns and replaced fillings, I now just go for regular 6 month checkups & cleaning. Each visit is very well explained, care to insure no pain during treatment and actual photos of my mouth used before during and after the treatments. Their communication is excellent. They live up to the business name for sure!

I'm a part time resident in Washougal and did not have a dentist when I had a dental emergency. A friend recommended Dr. Doug Johnson so I called and asked for an appointment on Friday and they gave me a 9:30 appointment. They have on line new patient registration forms so I didn't have to show up early. I gave them my dental insurance information over the phone and when I arrived all I had to do was tell them my name and I was all set to go.

They took me 10 minutes EARLY for my appointment! Dr. Johnson, Judy and the front office staff were friendly, relaxed and so professional. Highly recommend this team for your dental needs.

I can honestly say I do not remember the last time I went to the dentist I have horrible teeth and just avoid them like the plague. I had a dental emergency and read reviews about Dr Johnson and everything that was said in other reviews positive about this dental office is absolutely true. Kind, gentle and understanding. If you are like me and hate the dentist this office will change your mind.

I went in to Dental Excellence on a recommendation for a full comprehensive exam and to establish a new dentist. I've never experienced such an in-depth, professional, and informative exam. Dr. Johnson and his team took x-rays, measurements, and even several pictures of my teeth to show me how things are doing. The films and photos were thoroughly explained by Dr. Johnson, and he informed of past, current, and potential concerns of my teeth based off everything from my health history to the photos.

I came to Dr. Johnson by recommendation from an oral surgeon. The transitions were smooth, his staff took care of transferring images, notes and X-rays. He demonstrated care and was meticulous building and rebuilding crowns. The result was a bite that feels a darn sight better than any work I have had done by any dentist since my childhood friend worked on me soon after graduating college!

There are a lot of subtle tip-offs to best practices implemented at this office. The assistants are professional and Annie and Judy at the front desk are genuine representatives of a friendly, professional small town dental facility. One more thing I like is their technology integration, which is a challenge in so much of healthcare. Here tech works like a charm.

All their appointment reminders, notifications and confirmations are possible electronically. The fact that patients have a smooth experience using text messages for simple things like that tells me they pay attention to details and to their systems to make sure things are right. Little things say a lot.

I am a big chicken and have been to many dentists and I would recommend Dental Excellence to anyone. Dr. Johnson was kind, patient and really listened to me. The staff are very nice and professional. I give this place an A+!

I'm new to Washougal and needed to find a dentist for my family. I asked around and Dr. Johnson was highly recommended. I am super critical of dentists since I am absolutely terrified of them.
