No I wish I hadn't brought my daughter to this place, it seems to only be about money and not on the child's needs. its not a happy cheery place to walk into, I'm so disappointed I was hoping for a great experience with this for my child instead I have a bad experience. it's too late to get a new Dr. wish I would've done more research

I have been seen by Dr. Gittess for about 14 Years. So has all my siblings. I came to get braces put on before COVID. I have been wearing them for about 1.5-2 Years and been to all my appointments religiously. When COVID Started I informed them at the time her name was Sasha, that my wife lost her job and i wouldn't be able to pay for my monthly payments on my braces.

She advised just to keep in contact with them and it will be okay. Now, there is a lady by the name of Kelly and the service in this office has went downhill. I Call every month informing them that my financial situation is getting worse where i can barley pay my living expenses and my rent. I informed them that my wires are coming out and my rubber bands are no longer holding in my wires.

I am hurting from the wires digging into my mouth. Kelly told me that i couldn't be seen until i pay my balance current which if i cannot afford rent i cannot afford to pay my braces. She informed me " To cut the wires with a nail clipper" THAT IS NOT HYGENIC AT ALL! I was dumbfounded when i was told this! I understand that they have a company to run but people are still financially impacted by covid and are still struggling to make ends meet.

The least you can do is see me. I was called today informing that they will come cut the wire from stabbing me in the gums but they refuse to add rubber bands to hold the wire in place. This defeats the purpose of cutting the wire because without rubber bands the wire will still move! I am so disappointed with the service i have gotten. Dr. Gittess's office used to be a pleasure to speak with and visit but now the service has gone down hill.

I understand they are working with me with payments but come on! I have all these appliances in my mouth, its not my fault my wife lost her job! The least that could be done is to maintain the equipment.

WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR! Arrived at 10:05, 5 minutes before my appointment at 10:10 and called the office to say I was there and outside. I waited in my car because of COVID and office policy until 10:50 am because they had not called me back yet. I then called after 45 minutes of waiting and no phone call from them saying they are running late or whichever the reason was.

I then called and I said I would need to reschedule. I did not get any sort of apology or an offer to go check and see how much longer it would be. The woman at the front had an "oh well" don't care kind of attitude. I waited almost an hour and was treated so rudely. I will definitely not be coming back. Horrible!

I am 32 and getting braces again. I have them my senior year while attending UCF. I asked for a permanent retainer due to recommendations. He refused. he mentioned how many friends he had on Facebook.

We are finally done with our treatment. It was the worst experience with any medical professional ever! They show you a different side before you sign their contract. Once you sign on Dr. Gittess is not who you think. Dr. Gittess is not sympathetic. It is all about money. He doesn't have time if there are any problems. If your child has sensitive teeth or sensory problems good luck. He doesn't listen or even care. If we didn't have a contract I would have left.

My 12 year old daughter had a cross bite, with a real possibility of becoming an underbite. Our general dentist referred her to their in house orthodontist, who gave me the news that he would not be able to. treat her and that she may ultimately need jaw surgery. My reaction was that of sheer panic at the thought of surgery because even if it was a routine/common surgery, it's my child we were talking about. that orthodontist, seeing my panic, highly recommended Dr. Gittess.

We made an appointment and went. Dr. Gittess examined my daughter's situation as a whole. As a person. As my child. Afterwards, he sat us down and explained that he could do a treatment; that it would take longer than.

I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Gittess and his staff. I went to him 20 something years ago for my braces when I was Riley's age. Riley was recommended to get braces at an early age because of the. way his teeth were. they took great care of him. Here we are 13 months later and they are off. I would recommend this office 100000%. Here is my son before, during, & after.

I had a great experience with Dr. Gittess. He did an amazing job on my teeth. He has a ton of experience and knowledge and you can definitely tell when you first meet him. When I came in to get braces he told me what would be best for me but still compromised with what I wanted. I definitely would recommend him!

I HIGHLY recommend Gittess Orthodontics. Myself, wife and two out of three sons have been or are patients. My third son will be as well. The staff is wonderful as is Dr. Gittess.

Hands down the WORST orthodontist. This doctor is rude and does not care about his patients at all. We spent over $5,000 for my braces.only for my teeth to still be crooked in the end. I went in to tell Dr. Gittess about a shift in my bottom row of teeth and how it was affecting my top row of teeth. Dr. Gittess told me I would have to pay $4,000. to get it fixed and was beyond rude about the whole situation, mocking me the entire time.

I would not recommend Dr. Gittess because he is unprofessional, unsympathetic, and is very hostile. Save your money and time on this place because if you have an issue with your teeth, he will just mock you and belittle you.

Absolutely the WORST orthodontist! Very rude man and shows no respect to his clients. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. I wouldn't waste your money going here because your teeth will still end up crooked.

Everyone there is super nice and caring, I love the fact that they work with your schedule and that they do follow up check ups after the braces are out. Thanks Dr. Gittess!

I still can't believe the experience I just had. Ive had braces before but my teeth had somewhat shifted over time. I was looking for a way to straighten them without having to go through braces again. I went into Gittess because I read online they were the only place near my home that did ClearCorrect. The woman who booked my consultation and took my pictures was the sweetest, but then they asked about my previous orthodontist.

When I said Smith & Weeks(their competitor) they completely changed their attitude. Dr. Gittess wouldn't explain what ClearCorrect even was. He just kept saying in a mocking and childlike tone, "you should just go back to Weeks". The part that really bothered me and made me want to write a review in the first place was when he asked what I didn't like about my smile.

I mentioned one tooth in particular that I thought had shifted back, and Dr. Gittess tells me, "I could point out multiple things about your smile that would make you hate looking in the mirror." I'm a young girl who asked a professional for their help to build my confidence, and all I got was a 60 year old man telling me my smile's even more ugly than I already thought. I've never posted a review about anything, damn this must have hit my heart. Dr. Gittess you are of the worst kind. So how should I get my revenge?

Gittess Orthodontics has given our entire family a beautiful smile! Friendliest and most efficient staff!

We just went for a consultation with Dr. Gittess and both him and his assistant were super friendly and helpful! My daughter had her braces put on the same day we had the consult. I couldn't believe how relaxed and friendly the environment was. Dr. Gittess has such a great personality. He made my family and I feel very comfortable, answered our questions and even joked with us. Mel his assistant is so fabulous!

Really upbeat, outgoing and warm personality! They all honestly have great personalities, really warm and easy to be around people. You just get that feeling like you can trust them. We are very excited to have found this office! So many doctors are so impersonal and rush you these days but not here, they are really a refreshingly a great office with a nice atmosphere! Thank you guys!

I came to Dr. Gittess in 2016 for adult braces and him and his office staff have been nothing short of amazing! My experience from the day 1 consult, all through treatment, and in post treatment now has been stellar. I decided to go with the Clarity braces and I have no regrets about my decision. The Clarity braces were awesome, and I got so many compliments while I had them on during treatment.

You couldn't even tell I had braces in most photos while I had them on! Dr. Gittess and his staff are always very friendly, informative, helpful, and full of smiles. Dr. Gittess saw me personally at every appointment and always made me feel like my treatment was important to him. He answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly. I also loved how social and fun him and his staff were, they always gave me a good smile and laugh at each appointment. Handling insurance claims was a breeze too. Tia does a wonderful job and I had zero issues when it came to setting up the financial arrangements for my treatment or when it came to any insurance claims. I would recommend Dr. Gittess and his office to anyone looking for braces treatment, child or adult!

Disgusting Dr. So rude he talks to your children like they're dumb. Especially if you're a minority. Also I noticed they don't change the plastic chair coverings between patients which is pretty gross. Take your business else where trust me this place will leave a bad taste in your mouth

I've been going to Dr. Gittess for the past 6 years, ever since we had my first consultation, from an expander, to braces, to my now perfect smile, Dr. Gittess has always helped me. One thing that I loved about Dr. Gittess is that at every single visit I would sit down first with one of the other dental assistants, but then he would always take time to see me and make sure everything was going according to the plan. Dr. Gittess worked very well with me and got my braces my braces off when he said he would and now I love my smile! I would definitely recommend him.

Wednesday Hugus in the last week If you are looking to be treated by an orthodontist who treats his patients and their families in a condescending manner, look no further. This intellectual elitist has an attitude of superiority that no paying patient should have to endure. When you terminate service a year into 24 months of treatment, he will try to keep your money you paid in good faith and in full.

I am now aware now of other families who have received the same treatment. I will be pursing legal recourse, letting my dental insurance know and telling everyone I can to avoid Dr Gittess.

We've had a great experience with Dr Gittess and his whole staff. Great appointments for working parents and busy kids. The shuttle that picks up at school is amazing! I can't begin to tell you how helpful the shuttle is, had to save me 3 hours every six weeks when my daughter had her braces on. We are not in retainers and he still is seeing her and making sure all is well. Dr G and his staff were also great coordinating with our dentist.
