They noticed that traditional health care was not giving people what they needed to get better. Appointments were rushed, and prescription medication was too often the only answer. What if we created a place that offered people the best of integrative medicine and biological dentistry under one roof?
Dr. McClure and his staff are great! I traveled from a rural area of PA to Washington DC for my appointment and was surprised and pleased to be treated with such warmth and kindness from the big. Dr. McClure and entire dental staff: Thank you so much for your kindness, patience and courtesy. I am petrified of dental offices and I really appreciate all that you did for me.
Biological or holistic dentists respect that the mouth is an integral part of the entire body. Dental treatments should impact the rest of the body as little as possible. Biological dentists use biocompatible materials that will not adversely affect a patient's immune system. The emphasis is on building health and well being.

Dr. Coy Roskosky is a fabulous chiropractor. Super personable, knowledgeable and intuitive, using a variety of instruments, he takes a whole body mental/emotional/physical approach. After every session I feel great, like I have been sorted out head to toe, as with no other, going on ten years intermittently as needed. Reasonably priced too, one of the most helpful doctors I've ever seen. Myrt is an excellent colon-hydrotherapist. Knowledgeable and compassionate, she makes it a great experience. I'm so glad both of these practitioners are at NIHA, my health practice of choice for ten years.

This is an excellent dentist office. After moving to the area, I struggled to find a great dentist. Most dentists in the area were still okay with mercury based fillings and routinely told me I had cavities when I strongly suspected that was not true. At NIHA they provide a healthy experience and in my opinion are much more trustworthy. All the supposed cavities I had in the past apparently magically disappeared!

I had my teeth cleaned by Laurie DeRosa and my oral health evaluated by Dr. Ali, dentist. She found that I had some inflammation in my gums, and showed me which teeth to brush better. She said that I need to come in every 4 months. They also did xrays. As usual, I was impressed by how thorough and careful they were and glad to find out that I am not doing as well as I thought I was, with suggestions for improving.
They also gave me a detailed handout on integrative ways of preventing covid, which is a welcome relief after all the government and media insistence that vaccines are the only way to do it. Thank goodness for NIHA! It is a bulwark against Big Pharma's increasing pressure to get vaccinated.

I was nervous about going but Dr. McClure was great. He has a strong philosophy of his own, but is open to alternative philosophies and opinions and allows the patient to steer the treatment according to his or her own comfort level. Office staff of the dental practice are accommodating and friendly. I look forward to continuing with Dr. McClure!

The National Integrated Health Associates (NIHA) is simply the best place to go for medical and dental services. My health is now good enough that I need minimal medical attention (thanks to support from NIHA medical AND dental), but I visit routinely for dental cleaning and check-ups. I can't say enough good things about the dental care. My teeth and gums are strong and healthy and, therefore, the rest of my body follows (as the health of the mouth reflects the healthy of the body).
I invested, through the years in replacing mental filings and had some cosmetic work done as well. So here's to the health and beauty shared with me by NIHA holistic dental. Another outstanding feature of NIHA is how they organize their waiting room and offices. They always have a super clean and tranquil environment. They recognize the importance of air filtration (especially in medical offices) and always make sure that dirt and microorganisms are removed from the air.
They've been doing that for years. I've been a patient at NIHA for decades. They have solved medical riddles that others couldn't. Their emphasis is on prevention and a healthy lifestyle, but they'll work with you at whatever level and combination of needs that you want to address. Here's to your good health!

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I received excellent treatment. Daisy at the front desk was personable and friendly. Kevin was funny, friendly and helpful. Dr. Tapscott is the first doctor I have had who didn't seem rushed during her time with me. She was patient, knowledgeable and made me feel heard. She explained every aspect of my blood work and next steps to help me improve my health, one step at a time. She made me feel hopeful. Definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

Have you ever experienced love at your dentist's office? That's what I experience every time I visit the office of Mark McClure, DDS, at National Integrated Health Associates (NIHA). When I first met Dr. McClure in December 2019, he did what no dentist (and no other physician of any kind) has ever done: He took my hands, looked me in the eye, . and said, "I'm so happy to meet you" (or words to that effect).
I was smitten. I've now been through 5 procedures with him between January and April of 2020: mercury removal, damaged tooth repair via crown, bridge removal, new crown on bridge anchor tooth, and extraction of root canal tooth. For each procedure, Dr. McClure was present and caring.
