Dr. Manuel Englander is a full-service family and cosmetic dentist, practicing in Edina, MN, who is fully-trained as a prosthodontist. He focuses on high-end restorative and complex cosmetic procedures including veneers, implant dentistry and replacement of multiple missing teeth. Dr. Englander received his Masters degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Minnesota in 1988 and his DDS from the Unitec University in Mexico City in 1985. As his team member can attest, Dr. Englander strives for excellence in all that he does.
Dr. Karen Portis is thrilled to be a part of the Englander Dental team, where the focus is on patient-centered dentistry with a human touch. Dr. Portis graduated from the University of Alberta with degrees in both Microbiology and Dentistry. She operated her own dental practice in Edmonton, Canada, for ten years before relocating to the Twin Cities.

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I moved to the area from another state and was looking for a dentist when I found them by google search. I felt welcomed, respected, listened to, and cared for in all of my appointments. They took the dread and apprehension out visiting dental appointments that I recommended my family members to them. I love this dental office! I've been going here for years and every time it is the same.pleasant, friendly, competent, gentle people helping patients. One doesn't even hear any discord between the employees. The dental work is managed so well there is very little discomfort. I trust Dr. Englander, the hygienists and the office staff. It's peaceful.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Englander. I am a retired dental professional and I have been searching for a new privately owned office, where one is treated as an individual, and selling optional services or products is not the main topic of conversation. I wanted a cosmetic issue addressed. Dr. Englander said that he could achieve what I wanted with less work than what I had anticipated.
He knew that I was willing to have more work done and pay for it, but he was ethical and did less work and thus made less money. His cosmetic work is beautiful, so he made me very happy and he now has a new patient for life that has trust in him. My search is over!

Today, I entered my appointment with a bit of anxiety and fear as I was getting my first crown. The experience was top-rate from start to finish. Everyone was wonderful and Dr. Englander was beyond fantastic. He was easy going, clear in his communication, thoughtful, and fast. I highly recommend this office for dental work.

Super friendly office staff, dental assistants and hygienists, extremely patient and knowledgeable. I was able to get appointment within a day of calling for my chipped tooth and Dr. Englander was able to look at it, smooth it down and offered a permanent fix by the following week. All while being extremely gentle with my "scaredy-cat" fear of tooth pain.

I absolutely love Dr. Englander and Darcie! I've been to many dental clinics before and have never received such outstanding service. Dr. Englander is amazing and I wouldn't have chosen any other dentist to perform my dental implant procedure. Darcie always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, as I have a fear of dental visits. Thank you!

My brother was my dentist for over 40 years. When he retired I asked him for a recommendation. He said he goes to Dr. Englander. I asked him why. He said Dr. Englander is extremely well-trained and did graduate work in reconstructive dentistry along with his general dentistry practice. Dr. Englander is conservative in his approach AND he doesn't try to get you to do procedures, unless he feels they are really necessary at the time.
This can be a huge savings. What he does charge is reasonable. The office is efficient and his staff are professional, yet friendly. And there is free parking! I have recommended him to friends, and I will continue to do so.

A great dentist who provides expert service & treatment recommendations & allows you to decide how to proceed. I appreciate the respect they have for their patients & feel the cleaning I got was the most thorough I've had anywhere. Dr Englander is personable, kind & a great listener & his staff seem like they are efficient, seasoned & dedicated to the practice.
Free parking in the lot behind the building, super convenient location just off 50th & France. I don't think their pricing is especially low, but you have to ask yourself, do you want to go to a bargain dentist or do you get better quality work/service when you pay a little more?
