Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School aged children for routine visits can be scheduled throughout the day. Most treatment appointments will be scheduled in the morning.
Our afternoon appointments are for routine visits and older children requiring minor dental treatment. Our goal is to deliver the best possible dental care for infants, children, teens and kids with special healthcare needs.

This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment where children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene. This includes children's fillings, crowns and prosthesis, including treatment of the often devastating nursing bottle decay.
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), your child should visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday or at least 6 months after the eruption of the first tooth. Beginning dental care at an early age allows guidance for caring for your child's teeth and opportunities to address preventive issues that are important for healthy teeth and a pleasing smile.
Orthodontics for Children & Teens The American Association for Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge - a much better chance for natural and normal development. One advantage of having Dr. Freeman for your child's dental home is that he monitors their growth & development on a regular basis.
Whether a dental emergency happens during our normal business hours or not, know that you can call us and have your child treated promptly. Call our office at 901.383.7337. If it is after hours or during the weekend, either a doctor or team member will get back to you. Please listen to our message for instructions.

I took my 15 month old for her first dental appointment and the staff made it the best experience I could have ever asked for. The sweetest, most caring, and knowledgable staff. The hygienist took her time to thoroughly explain everything to me and make my daughter feel special. I know it can be hard to deal with younger children, as they are. scared and confused. Dr Freeman was just as nice. He made my daughter feel comfortable and took time to ask me if I had any questions. I never once felt rushed. I will definitely refer to Freeman Pediatric Dentistry!

I LOVE this place. My 5 and 3 year old have been going here since they began going to the dentist. I was always impressed with the patience of the staff and cleanliness but our 1st visit post pandemic made me appreciate them even more. I could clearly see the extra precautions taken to provide safety for both the patients and the staff. And there is never a ridiculous wait. Dr. Freeman is always thorough and very kind. I highly recommend Freeman Dentistry!
